Very good views from a deluxe room. Spacious room (under Paris standard). The decoration is a bit old. Very nice staff in the welcoming, not that nice during the check out. The computer in the lobby doesn't have a chair (quite uncomfortable to check the email). I found the hotel very expensive (the impression is that I paid too much for the view).

The concierge was an excellent help throughout the stay. A big disappointment was having a junior suite/queen room/bed where the queen bed consisted of two twin beds pushed together. They kept separating during the night.

Staff cheerful and friendly, happy when I tried my small amount of french on them! Balcony overlooking arc de triomphe perfect.

Our stay was excellent in almost all respects. Our room was very clean, a good size, with a large comfortable bed and a modern, twin skink bathroom. The concierege staff were superb. They responded promtly and helpfully to a pre-arrival email in which I requested a bunch of flowers to be in our room on arrival. They were friendly and approachable, all were patient with my poor french and almost all spoke good english. They were glad to give us good, practical advice about decent, nearby restaurants, discount tickets on the metro and personal security information. Their recommendation of the nearby 'The Grande Armee' was well founded. The food is good, the service excellent and the price reasonable. We found two drawbacks. First, the shower temperature was not easy to set without being either scalded or frozen. Second, breakfast was good, but poor value at E22. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice but neither my partner or I like to eat a very, very large breakfast. Halfway through our stay we opted to walk 150m to the patissere at bottom of ave Carnot and have the E7.50 plat: croissant, baton, butter and jam, juice and coffee. We stayed in a double 'superior' room, which tested our budget, but it was worth it and we would certainly stay in the hotal again. The hotel is 50m from the Arc de Triomphe, 10m from the Metro and the Air France drop off point. Even in November the area around the Arc quickly became jammed with tourists and the poor, squalidly commercialised top end of the Champs Elysee became almost impossible to walk down on many occasions because of the crammed crowds. The four highlights of our stay were: St.Chappelle - the glittering medieval church on the Isle de Paris, The 15C town house of the Duke of Burgundy on rue Etienne Marcel, the Bois de Boulogne (15min stroll from the hotel)and the classical music concerts in St. Chappel and other places. The dining recommendations in the Rough Guide, Lonely Planet Guide and the Penguin MapGuide were,

The location is excellent, within walking distance of all key attractions, and yes the air france shuttle stops opposite the hotel (very handy if you're not so familiar with Paris). The hotel is also surrounded by cafe/restaurants. Great views from superior rooms. Room quality good, as you would expect for the price. The staff very friendly and helpful. Only gripe, Breakfast areas needs improvement but given the many alternatives on your doorstep why stay in the hotel.

Wonderful Hotel and location, metro and air france shuttle bus just outside.Fantastic view so close of the Arch de Triumph. Just off the Les Champs-Elysees, we had great days out using the metro, restuarants close to hotel and a small grocery store and offlicense just down the street for goodies if too tired to go back out, a good glass of wine on the balcony with a fabulous view does your heart good.We as a family of 3, from Hull Yorkshire, would certainly use this hotel again.

This hotel is very good, well decorated and rooms spacious. The only minor points to not were due to the hotel location only a limited number of rooms had views of the Arc de Triumphe and the public bar / lounge was shut on Sunday evening. Would go back and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to any visiting Paris.
