This hotel is close to everything in the 7th Arr. and right next to a metro stop. I was immediately greeted by the desk receptionist who was very friendly and fluent in Anglais, although I preferred to practice my French. She even helped me locate the building for my meeting the next day. Although the room was small, it was perfectly adequate, it was well heated and the Sat TV worked just fine. As mentioned before, the shower is small, but it was useable with plenty of hot water. I'd recommend this Hotel as an outstanding value, particularly for this area. However, if one is looking to spend a lot of time in their room, they may want a larger hotel at much higher (double or triple) rates. However, in the 7th Arr, I wouldn't plan to spend much time in my room

Nice hotel in one of the best arrondissement of Paris, well served by Métro; concerning spaciousness, rooms are quite good but bathrooms are really small, too much for a "bien costeaux" man as my husband is. A little tip for shopping lovers: go to Monoprix for a nice and relaxing shopping just next to the hotel.

Great little hotel. Lovely, welcoming lady on reception and very quick and efficient check-in. Room was very clean and tidy, comfortable bed and great breakfast was brought to my room almost immediately after i'd ordered it.The bathroom was very small, but clean and with a great shower. Free wifi was very handy and for a city central hotel the price was very reasonable. Overall i was delighted with my stay and i will book again the next time i visit.

Room is as advertised, great location, clean, secure, no frills, and very tiny. Right beside the metro and a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel tower and Hotel Invalides.

The walls of the rooms are very thin, so you can hear every word in the neighbour room. The breakfast room is small, but it is no problem to have breakfast in the near neighbourhood. In a nutshell, good relatioship between price and quality. Good location.

went witha bunch of girlfriends for the weekend. we are college students studying abroad and this was the perfect hotel for us. it is cheap and VERY clean. the reviews had me thinking very pessimistically about the hotel before we got there but it was great. everything is clean and it was more spacious than i thought it is in a great neighborhood and close to the metro station. zara and H&M are right across the street!! we could also walk to the Eiffel tower! definitely great for a weekend stay on a budget!

This Hotel is in a good location. Lots of cool shops and cafe's around, close to the Metro (3min), close to the Eifel Tower (10-15min). The rooms are small, but functional. I found the bathroom a little bit cramped, larger customers might have trouble fitting in the showers... They are really small! The furnishings could use some updating, if you are looking for a chic place you will be disappointed, If you are just interested in having a bed and a place to unwind for a few minutes at the end of the day this place is great. During the day the reception was pleasant and helpful. The 2 I saw spoke French, English and Spanish for sure. The fellow at night though, turned off all the lights and fell asleep behind the desk. It took me 5 minutes to wake him up so he could open the door, and I didn't even try to wake him when I checked out. Overall I would stay here again, especially at the special rate I got for it.

This is a quaint hotel in an excellent area close to the metro. The rooms are very small but have all you need. We found the room bit cold (tried to put heater on but it did not seem to work) but that was probably because we had to cross the courtyard and the downstairs door was always left open. Would definitely stay here again.

The lift is too small. If you are claustrophobic, I suggest not to use it. Wifi is excellent and you can access from your rooms. This is quite near to the train station but a really long distance (quite a number of stops) from the airport if you are taking the train. The staff can arrange a mini van pick up to take you to the airport for reasonable price as well.

This hotel is ideally located near Eiffel Tower and near Metro Station "La Motte Picquet Grenelle" I have in the last two weeks stayed at different 5 hotels; this hotel probably gets the worst in price/quality ratio. The rooms are really small (9m2)and the shower cubicle will not let a 100kg man turn around inside the cubicle. I slept well in the hotel as I was tired from doing all the sightseeing.

Really liked the place it is close to all needed touristic locations, including the train station. A very lively place with many cafes, restaurants and a shopping area. I lived on the 4th floor, really enjoyed that I had a balcony and a very nice view on the street. The rooms are small, but have everything needed included and they are clean.

As every review I read before booking, the room is very, very, small. There was barely enough wiggle room for two people. Other than that, staff was very accommodating and professional. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants, cafes and shops. Also, the metro subway is barely a three minute walk which is a real plus. From the metro, all the tourist attractions are very convenient to get to. The Eiffel tower as about a 15 min walk. Tip: If you know you're going to be using the metro a lot, either buy a week pass or buy a carnet (10 tickets) for 10 euros. If you have time, a visit to Versailles is a must. Plan on spending about half a day there.

Fantastic Hotel! super close to the Eiffel Tower. Just 10 minute walk. If you get there just walk to Rue de Commerce besides the McDonald's and that's it. The train station is just 3 minutes walk. Perfect location close to shops, stores and lots of places to eat. The hotel staff is very nice and diligent. Just beside the hotel is a super nice Bakery(Great sandwiches, pastries, cakes and food) Multilingual and helpful Staff, will comeback there definetely The only drawback is the Room: It smelled strongly like Cigarette Smoke. The room is small (to USA standards) but confortable for two persons in two twin beds put together.

The Hotel Saphir Grenelle is located in the heart of a busy shopping district of the Eiffle district. When we arrived the consierge was very friendly. Our room was not ready yet, so I happenned to ask him if we could get the largest room in the Hotel. He eventually agreed and gave us the only tripple room in the Hotel for the same price as a double.(Ask for room 110 if you want some extra space)The Hotel was a Good value for the price. The Eiffle tower was about a 15-20 minute walk. I would stay here again.....

Near transportation. Do not bother with breakfast. The staff was not helpful at all, and the bedding was dirty. If you face the street it is very noisy. There is hardly any room for the toilet in the bathroom. The hotel looks much nice from the outside than once inside. If you can find another place to stay in Paris, I would do so.

Ciao.

Our room was dark but quite; smelled a bit strange but was clean. The hotel is a really good choice to just sleep there and explore the (expensive) surrounding. The man at the reception desk at night was not as friendly as the man during day, but anyway we would go there again.

I was very pleased and will certainly use the hotel again and recommend it to others. There are just two minor less good things: 1. It took some time to get used to the roar of the "over-ground" métro passing. Luckily it stops soon after midnight. 2. There were ants in the bathroom. Doesn't bother me but it is not a quality mark... Feel free to send this to the hotel, I just don't want to publish my email address on your site. Comment to questions: The guest can not really know if the hotel has the number of rooms and types of rooms as stated. Regards AL

A very comfortable hotel well placed for easy access to central Paris via a choice of three Metro lines from nearby La Motte-Piquet-Grenelle station. Friendly staff and a good breakfast. Well located for shops - Rue du Commerce is a good suburban shopping street - and restaurants: recommend Cafe du Commerce and La Gitane, bith within 5 minutes of the hotel. Good access to Eiffel Tower and the wonderful Parc Andre Citroen ( go to Balard Metro) A bargain at the price - well above many 2* hotels in London!

Very charming hotel. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly. The location is great. There are three subway lines at the nearest station, which is really close. And the neighborhood is lively and full of options of restaurants and snacks. I had a lovely week there. It was a pleasure to come home after a hard day at work!

We received a very warm welcome from the young man at reception who spoke excellent English. The room was adequate - a little run down with the bathroom plumbing in line with the old perceptions associated with French hotels. However, everything was spotlessly clean, and even towels seemed to be changed daily. There was an extra charge for breakfast but it was good value for money. At the weekend, there was a queue for the too few tables, but the hotel is surrounded by excellent patisseries which offer an excellent alternative.
