I am happy that I trusted the previous clients. Nothing special to be reported: hotel rooms in Paris are never spaceous.

My husband and I loved this hotel. The staff was gracious, accommodating, and professional. The location could not have been better- we walked everywhere. The street had wonderful little stores including a small grocery where we bought local wines. Up the street is a wonderful boulangerie with the most delicious baguettes and I would buy one each morning. Who cares if the elevator is tiny- they are all tiny in Paris. Our room was charming, overlooking the roof tops of Paris. I felt like I was staying in a home rather than a hotel. When I used the hotel computer, I would get into long conversations with the desk receptionists who were all so interesting and friendly. Actually, I could live at this hotel. Unfortunately, the exchange rate prohibits that from happening any time soon. I would stay here again and again and again.....oh, and the bill was exactly what was quoted. No hidden charges, no surprises. That was very nice!

I found the Hotel St. Paul do be a wonderful place to stay. The people were very accomodating, helpful and friendly. There is nothing about which I could complain. I would definitely stay with the great people at St. Paul again. Thank you to the entire staff for an excellent hotel in which to stay.

This was our first time to stay at Hotel St. Paul. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very pleasant and always helpful. They spoke very good English. The breakfast was good, but for the money, you could get similar at a lower cost from a local bakery. There was a lot of street noise late at night and early AM (garbage trucks, etc)My husband was able to sleep through it, but as a light sleeper, I didn't. If you are able to keep the windows closed, the room is quieter.

Camere piccole.

If you want room space in Paris you must pay for it. This hotel is a good pick in a well situated area.No glitz or glamour but then again you spend nearly all your time site seeing. The train booking office is close by and there are many places to eat at also close by. The service was friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel in good location. We had a top floor attic room with small separate living area. New bathroom was great. Good cheap food next door packed with locals and new winebar on corner with R. Racine. R. Monsieur le Prince hard to find from Odeon Metro - need Google map or use Blvd Saint Michel to R. Racine

My first time here - but I certainly hope not the last. The hotel is perfectly situated for a tourist or for business (especially so, if your business is with the French government - I was visiting the Senat). Staff was welcoming and attentive (how often can you say that in Paris!). Plenty of places close by if you want something more than the hotel's continental breakfast (but that was good quality). Luxembourg Gardens are close by and delightful.

As usual in Paris, the room was small (but not cramped). The reception staff were excellent, and the hotel cat (Sputnik) is a real character.

The hotel is very good located in the saint germain quarter and thus close to the pedestrian area and good restaurants. Its also close to the metro station. The personel is very friendly. The little hotel is clean (recently renovated) and nicely decorated.

This was first time at St Paul, and it fulfilled all expectations. From searching other hotels, I think this was a good find. I would very likely stay there again (loved the high floor room we had) and recommend it. February a great time to be in Paris.

Our stay at St Pauls was perfect. The location was great for both travel and eating out; and Notre Dame was about 5 mins walk - superb. All the staff were friendly, and all spoke perfect English. Sputnik the cat stole the show though - a real cutie!

First of all, venere is one of the best web pages for hotel-booking. I have been in Paris a lot of times. This hotel was perfect situated at a calm street. The reception was nice decorated. The employees spoke English very good but could have been a little bit more service-minded. The room was very spacious to be a hotel-room in Paris. I heard when we left that we have had a superior room at special rate because of low season. Best regards.

everything was o.k., but the surprise was, when we payed our stay, we had to pay for the breakfast 12€ for one person. this wasn´t anounced at the web neither in the hotel. for this money 24€ for both we could have had breakfast at the cafe "aux deux margots" and we would have prefered to go out for breakfast.

It was a lovely hotel, unfortunately it was extremely hot in Paris, up to 39 degrees and the room was not air conditioned. There were no fans available for the room and with the windows open it was a too noisy to get much sleep at all. We loved the hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but for a hotel in Paris in mid Summer, we now know to look for one with Air Conditioning. It was a bit pricey for a room without Air Conditioning. Location is fantastic. We felt extremely safe in that area and lots of help from the staff for directions and a great recommendation for dinner at the Restaurant around the corner.

Stayed at St. Paul the weekend of Dec 2 in 2005. The location is second to none as it's slap-bang in Latin Qtr, on a street where one can find some of the best Sushi restaurants in Paris. Clean rooms, great staff. We are definitely going back to stay there.

excellent location, we were upgraded to what they called a jr suite, had a little sitting area, this is a quaint hotel, rooms are smaller than our jr suites, however, we were very happy with hotel, room, location, helpfulness of front desk people, would stay here again, lots of food and bars nearby

Our stay in Paris was wonderful. The employees of the St. Paul, especially Valerie, were extraordinarily helpful, going far beyond the call of duty on several occasions. We had cancelled one night of our reservation due to extending our stay in the Burgundy region and Valerie faxed a detailed map and instructions to our hotel in Beaune to make our drive into Paris easier and also provided a map and location in Paris for returning our rental car without having to go all the way to the airport.(Not to mention giving up her own parking space in Paris so that we would not have to move the car twice before getting it back to the rental agency.) The St. Paul also gave us excellent suggestions on where to eat. If I have any complaint at all it is that I was under the impression that the hotel had available parking which I found out was wherever you could find a spot on the street and that the shuttle to the airport, although they will make the reservation for you, is not a service provided by the hotel but one that you must pay for yourself. I don't think the online information was very clear about this. Also, for the price of the room they might include breakfast. The breakfast area is lovely, as is the entire hotel, but I suspect that most people go in search of a bakery (there is an excellent boulangerie just down the street) or cafe in Paris and only eat at the hotel when they are on a short schedule. All and all, the St. Paul was a delightful hotel on a quiet street in a very busy area of Paris. It was certainly central to all of our needs and judging by other hotels (we had friends in Paris at the same time)it was on a par or slightly superior to other hotels of the same class.
