Abbiamo soggiornato quattro notti in due camere doppie a maggio 2009. Hotel confortevole. Pulito e silenzioso. Zona tranquilla e ben frequentata. Vicino a due stazioni della metro raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti. Buono il prezzo.

Extremely nice hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Our upgraded room still wasn't all that big. I would be concerned about how small a regular room might be, but it is a very nice, convenient place to stay. It is very close to the train from the airport.

Good hotel south of the Sorbonne/Pantheon. From the hotel to the Left Bank is approx 25 min walk along the Rue St Jacques, and there are plenty of places for breakfast along the way. Further out than we normally stay but not a problem, and if walking isn't your thing, the RER and buses are close by.

I thought the Hotel was wonderful. The location was just what i wanted. The rooms were a little small but very clean and served the purpose. The best part of the Hotel was it's staff who were very helpful and polite. The only little complaint was the bar which was very small and not very well stocked. Over all i had a very nice stay and would recommend it.

The hotel was lovely, the stay really enjoyable. Staff very welcoming and sweet, and solutions oriented. Internet, even in the public space, is costly which I find aggravating. Breakfast very pricy - but inexpensive wonderful breakfasts available nearby. Very good restaurant & brasserie on same street, very close to Parthenon and Sorbonne, and the Parisian free bicycle system (VeloLib) has bikes nearby - we used them constantly. A great stay made nicer by the hotel.

Lovely hotel. Went in August so rooms very reasonable price. Room small but fine for Aug price. Not sure about paying twice as much the rest of teh year for such a small room. However staff great and hotel spotless and so quiet. Great location. Loved it.

I stay often in Paris and in many hotels. This is one of my favorites: small, charming, quiet, and wonderfully managed. Also a perfect location.

This is a lovely hotel. A great location near the Luxembourg gardens, very quiet considering the location, and nicely decorated and maintained. All in all a classy place. But we felt it was not good value for money as although we had paid extra for a superior room our room was absolutely tiny, even by Parisian standards. It was up on the top floor so perhaps ones below would have been bigger, but then perhaps it would be better not to designate such rooms as superior, as we were left wondering what we would have got had we not upgraded! It was OK for a night, but if you were staying there for longer it would have been somewhat claustrophobic, not to mention inconvenient as with 2 people in it, you almost could not avoid bumping into each other.

The Hotel was quiet, confortable and not too far from Panteon and other sites. Rooms were not too small as usual in Paris. Breakfast could be better.

The hotel is a very nice one. Almost all employees speak English, which is very hard to find in Paris! The only drawback is the bathroom, I guess. It was very small and a bit run down :( The floor tiles were broken and we had to ask for replacement bath robes. They took away the dirty ones but forgot to put in clean ones! The breakfast area is pretty small but as we did'nt use it, I can not comment on the service. The location of the hotel is also very nice. It is quite near the metro and just a walk away from the nice shops on Boulevard Du St-Germain :)

This hotel lived up to all of its promises. It is in a quiet area of the Latin Quarter, but near good transit which made the whole city easily accessible. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My stay was very enjoyable and I look forward to returning.

It was a beutiful and clean hotel with some major problems. They have no Covered parking as advertised here which was a big let down. All the staff was just excellent other than a fat bald guy who was just horrible , gave all wrong information and was just not accomodating. If you removes that guy then i would give this hotel 9 out of 10 just one star less for no parking as advertised.

The overall ambience and staff at Hotel Relais Saint Jacques were very welcoming upon my arrival. Unfortunately, they were not able to accomodate an early checkin, so I had four hours to occupy myself after the long flight from the States. The public areas of the Hotel consist of one small bar/living room and a small breakfast room--much more confined than I thought, based on pictures on their website. The tables and chairs in the breakfast area were tiny -- not the kind you can sink into and while away the hours reading a book, and the breakfast itself was just ok for this class of hotel and the price charged. With the small living room completely occupied by one group, there was no area inside the hotel where I could rest comfortably until my room was ready. This aspect is the one drawback I found in choosing this hotel as a first stop in France when arriving on an overnight flight from the States. The weather was nice so I decided to take a walk around and found the Jardins de Luxembourg, which is nearby, beautiful and highly recommended to visit while staying at this hotel. The overall area is very upbeat with students and lots of small shops. My room was ready right when they had said it would be. It was small (even for Paris), but nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything worked well and my stay overall at the Hotel Relais Saint Jacques was very pleasant.

We indeed enjoyed our trip to Paris and the hotel was one of the assets. Friendly staff, and perfect located for exploring Paris. We will come back. The hotel rate could be a little bit lower, all other was very ok.

This was our first visit to Paris and we were very impressed with Hotel Relais and the service provided. The staff was available for our every need. We enjoyed the coffee or tea service on silver trays from the balcony of our room. It was a piece of heaven in our hectic European vacation.

Fantastic staff- so helpful, so welcoming and happy to speak in English or listen to our attempts in French! They really did go out of their way to help us -even to the extent of plaaning Metro routes for us! The only thing we found was that the room was really very small but it was spotless and welcoming. About 15 minute walk to Notre Dame so very well located. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was small, although the bed was extremely comfortable. Clean, well insulated rooms. Bathroom was very very small, barely room for one person at a time. Breakfast was expensive. If staying again, I would take a breakfast elsewhere.

the area which disappointed me was the difficulty in getting any food late on Saturday evening. We had been to rugby at the Stade de France, so ate at 5pm and felt in need of a drink and something at 11.30 when we returned. Bread ham and cheese were offered but it took 45 minutes and produced very little. We didn't get our drinks until this offering was ready. For a 4* hotel, I didn't feel our request was that unreasonable on a Saturday night and nothing in the area was open. This is important since it will affect where we stay for the Rugby World Cup later in the year, when many of the games are late kick off's. Aside from this, the service was pretty helpful and Sunday's receptionist far more friendly than Saturday's - and I speak reasonable French, so it wasn't a language thing!

I thought the rooms were very cute, cozy and clean. A bit small but not smaller than I expected. The only serious problem was the Wifi system. 10 Euro for 1 hour on-line is unheard of. The hotel needs to get its own station and integrate internet service in the price of the room in order to meet competitor´s standards. Other than that the service was fine according to 4 star needs. And the staff was very helpful and polite.

The hotel is superbly located, convenient to the main attractions of the city yet still in a relatively quiet area. The service provided by all the hotel staff is the best I've experienced and the hotel itself probably the cleanest. While our room (deluxe double) was not the most spacious it was well equipped. If returning to Paris I would certainly stay there again.

The staff was wonderful and welcoming, willing to help with directions, special requests, etc. The hotel itself was quite charming. It was in a decent location about a 10 - 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. It was very convenient to Metro stop.

The room was as tastefully decorated as in the website photo but the bathroom was as small as the smallest one I had in Japan. Getting to the hotel was convenient from the RER but unfortunately one had to pass through a few panhandlers. What really made the difference was the staff, who were truly exceptionally friendly and helpful. In a nutshell, the hotel is a little gem in a soso neighborhood.

The hotel was really lovely, located close to the metro station for access to other areas of the city and with a train straight to the airport. the staff were very welcoming and friendly, even though we arrived with backpacks and looking most unlike the other guests in 3 month old clothes after returning from 3 months in central america! we had breakfast in the hotel one morning which was very nice (a little pricey, but isn't everywhere in paris!). overall we had a lovely stay and would definately recommend this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Altho a bit pricey vis-a-vis the Euro, my girlfriend & I thoroughly enjoyed. Location was good but a healthy walk from the local "hotspots" & trains. Room appointments were nice & bathroom skylite was unique. Staff very helpful for the most part.

The hotel is located on a quite street. We could sleep with our window open. The staff was wonderful. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to all my friends. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and by European standards the room was large. Wireless connection was nice and reasonable in price.

Relais St.Jacques is an excellent 4 star hotel located on a quiet street near the subway station. Our room was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. Though not part of the hotel room price, the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Alexandra was particulary very responsive. We had great accomodations at a very reasonable price thanks to Venere.com
