"Great Hotel, great location" I had done a lot of works before visiting Paris and finally booked this one,and it turned out to be the best experience I had ever travelled. It's almost perfect in every aspects.Louvre,Opera,Madelline church,Concord and many great restaurants are within walking distance. So are the metro and tour bus.The only tiny problem is the toileting watering sound.I would surely pick the same hotel next time I go back to Paris.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Relais Saint Honore. It was located centrally to many of the sites we were interested in. There was a convenient small store directly across the street. A number of cafes were located at Place du Marche which is literally a couple of streets away. The rooms were decorated tastefully and very clean. The staff were outstanding. Internet is available if you want to bring along your lap top.

This is an excellent place to stay in Paris. Expensive by Australian standards, and quite small rooms, but a great location, wonderful staff who cannot do enough for you, good breakfast (for Paris), and clean and comfortable rooms. Some good, inexpensive restaurants within walking distance, and very close to the major attractions. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

Charming little hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, top location in a fashionable street close to the Louvre, Tuileries and the Opera. Quartier Latin and the Musee d'Orsay as well as the Notre Dame all within walking distance. Rooms are admittedly rather small, but this is Paris and considering the price... We loved this hotel and the perfect location, it will definitely be our address in Paris.

My suitcase was lost by Air France, and all the staff here were extremely kind and helpful. They called Air France multiple times a day to help track it down, and assisted me in locating reasonable places to shop for emergency clothing. Every staff member that I met was fluent in English. Great location - right near the Louvre, and there was a nice fruit/convenience store across the street. The rooms were modern and very clean, and there was free wireless internet available (something that they do not advertize). Highly recommended!!!

A very nice hotel in a fantastic location. Room size was somewhat small by my standards, but manageable. Staff were timely, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a nice Paris vacation without breaking their budget. And the coffee was excellent!

We stayed 4 nights and found the staff to be extremely helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. Our room was small and it was a little noisy (but in the heart of Paris, what can you expect)It is surrounded by good restaurants and boutiques and close to the metro and the Louvre. An easy walk to many attractions.A self service laundry is around the corner.I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved our room except for two things: it faced the street so there was some street noise but mostly there was so much light at night which made it a bit hard to sleep.

This Hotel was excellently staffed with people who were knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and the loft was quaint. We stayed in suite 501 which looked out onto the side street, so the view wasnt great, but who stays in Paris to sit and look out the window?

Nice small hotel in a very central position but quiet. Close to metro station and short walk to the center of the city. the staff is very gentle and competente. We did'nt have our breakfast in the hotel because we find a nice bar in the nearby of the Hotel. Our room was nice and clean but near a road and in the early morning there are some noise from a vegetable-shop on the street. But we are very happy and we will come back in this hotel again

Excellent location for this clean and friendly hotel. Small rooms, but fine for Paris in the 1er arron. Not a lot of extra amenities (like room service), but there is a grocery store across the street and a bakery next door, and this on the fashionable Rue St. Honore. The staff was courteous and professional and gave wake-up calls and had our taxi waiting for us as requested. We were on the first floor, so did have quite a bit of street noise and also some smoke drifting through the windows from the people exiting the nearby nightclub, but we were travelling with a baby and making a fair bit of noise with her adjusting to the time change, so I was glad to be separated from the other rooms upstairs.

Really pleased we chose this hotel. It was very clean (especially the bed linen and towels). The rooms were on the small side but well thought out offering all the amenities you need eg: hair dryer, minibar etc. The No Smoking Policy throughout made our stay even more pleasant. Staff were friendly. We found the location perfect. What a lovely part of Paris! Surrounded by lovely shops, cafes and pattiseries. We spent more on our accommodation than we had originally planned but were certainly NOT disappointed. Would definately use this hotel again.

The superb location and excellent quality of this hotel for the price were a delightful surprise. I don't know what the other rooms were like but the junior suite suited our family of 3 perfectly for a short stay. The staff were most accommodating, our only complaint being the appalling restaurant recommended to us one night.

Small, low key hotel (15 rooms), on a quiet street. Rooms are very well sound-proofed; we stayed on first and third floors, with no difference in sound levels. Excellent staff. Rooms are exceptionally clean, warmly furnished and feel freshly renovated; entire hotel will be non smoking by Jan 1 2008, although currently hotel does not have any lingering odour whatsoever. Internet in lobby; unsure/not clear if wireless is provided by hotel, however, we picked up a free signal from somewhere nearby. Excellent restaurant choices nearby -- breakfast thru dinner -- French, Italian, Japanese, etc. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel in its category.

Sadly, I have to mark the Hotel Ralais Saint Honore way, way down because of their complete and utter incompetence when it came to serving breakfast. For twelve Euros you get a very limited, cold selection with few permutations and combinations to choose from in the first place. Due to dietary and health considerations there are certain things I avoid eating. You guessed it; that's what they brought me in spite of an order the night before, as per their system. The tray served bore no resemblance to what I had ordered. Then, in spite of good communication with the server (Je parle un petit Francais), I got nothing to replace it in spite of her saying she would be right back with the correct order. After close to an hour I called and was told that I had cancelled the order, per the server, but she/they would try again. You guessed it. They brought me another incorrect order. Consider what it costs to be one half of a kilometer from The Louvre and what it costs you to be in Paris per hour. Do you want to spend one of them waiting for someone who never gets your order right? The food is such that it could be picked up at the grocery store anyway (i.e., no preparation required; just heat the coffee.) Suspicion: they sold my night before order to someone else, then tried to cover up their indiscretion. Tip: walk out in front door of the hotel, turn left and walk one-half of one block. On the corner (same side of street as hotel, then cross one intersection). There is an excellent restaurant that will serve you a hot breakfast, including bacon or ham and eggs, for the same price (plus three tenths of one Euro), and get your order right the first time. Otherwise it was a delightful stay, but the desecration of the breakfast order makes them a 3.5 star in my book, when they could be a four. The room was very quaint, albeit small, and the decorations were tasteful, French provencial and appealing. dan@danoconnor.com Dan O'Connor

The hotel is exactly as described on the website & all facilities are in good order. Staff are extremely professional & very welcoming. Excellent location. We stayed 7 nights & would consider using this hotel again when considering the price/quality/location factors.

Relais Saint Honoré was a great hotel for the price and expectations we had prior to our visit. If you're visiting and expecting a full-service hotel then this is not the hotel for you. There are a limited amount of amenities but that was perfect for what we wanted and for what we spent. Essentially we wanted a place to crash and not much more; in this property we got exactly that and a PERFECT location on top of it, central to just about everything. Lastly, the staff were all incredibly nice and the rooms were well sized considering our location in central Paris.

The two things that make this hotel stand out are the location (fabulous) and the helpfulness of the staff (also fabulous). The rooms are not spacious (average for Paris), but feel bigger than their dimensions because they are very well laid out, with (in our room at least) space for outdoor clothes and shoes in the hall. The bathroom was also small but worked perfectly. The airconditioning (heating) unit was the quietest I have ever encoutered in a hotel room. There was some noise from street cleaners and bin collection early in the morning, but this was minimized by good double glazing, and a small price to pay for being in such a vibrant area. Overall, a great little hotel! We would stay there again.

The hotel was in a first class location, just round the corner from the Louvre and many tourist sites were within easy walking distance. The room was compact but spotlessly clean. I reckon the price is a fair one as it reflects the location of the hotel. I only spent one night there but would recommend this hotel if you're looking for an above average hotel in a great location.

Wonderful location for two day stopover in Paris. Best of all was the most comfortable bed, welcome after a long travel day and trans-Atlantic flight from the USA. I told the manager I had reserved the room based on the photo of the bed. Sweet dreams & Paris mix well. Loved it all.
