The lady on duty in the hotel reseption when we arrived was in an incredibly bad mood, she was snotty and rude. We did not feel welcome at this hotel. Fortunatly the other staff provided better service, but not enough to help the general impression.

The lift is inadequate. It is like riding in a coffin stood on its end. The photo of the room must have been taken with a wide-angle lens. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed! However, it was clean and well located. Thank you.

The hotel was everything it stated online. Thelocation was perfect for the mainline station and the Metro. Plenty of eating places close by. Good quiet location in a busy area. It wasn't the Ritz, but I didn't pay Ritz prices. No hesitation in returning to this hotel. Oh, and the staff were very helpful and knew their stuff. Well done

This little hotel is close to the Gare du Nord. Very clean with air conditioning and although small the location was fantastic. we arrived in paris early in the morning and arrived at 8am on the day of the booking ready just to leave our bags there, but to our delight our room was available and we could check in straight away with no extra charge and a warm shower awaiting us after 36 hours of travel. FANTASTIC!

We stayed here for one night while we were backpacking two weeks ago. We had a little trouble finding the place which is tucked back on a side street that didn't feel very safe. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower head was difficult to adjust, but the pressure was good and the hairdryer was an added bonus. Our room had a stone slab outside of the very large window. At first it appeared that you could sit out there, but we realized there was no railing and it almost looked like someone could jump up there and enter our room, so we kept our windows locked during the night and used the air conditioning instead. Although we enjoyed our accomodations, we'll look for a hotel in a different area next time.

nice, clean, spacious hotel located within walking distance from the town center. Rooms and bathroom were kept clean and tidy. All in all a very good hotel for the price. The only one thing i would mention was that the reception staff could have been more friendly but i suppose we were just used to the more family run hotels. I would stay here again if i travelled to Paris on the same budget.

While the rooms were a little small, we were pleased to get two separate rooms for our family of three. We later travelled throughout France and Italy and realized that this hotel gave us great value for the money. It was very handy to be close to two railway stations, and there's a great market right next door to the hotel. Internet access was provided, via one computer in the hotel (a little expensive at 5 Euro per half hour, but convenient).

Having Arrived much later than expected the consierge was very helpfull in advising where to eat & was very helpfull in advising of transport / timing to get to the airport on time for our return flight the following day. The hotel was very clean & the rooms very presentable. Breakfast was simple but suitable to meet all tastes. The Elevator was very small thus unable to permit a Whelchair in it so the Hotel cannot therefore been seen as ideal for but may not preclude disable persons staying. The location was near to both Bus & Metro stops & should therefor be seen as a reasonably priced accomadation suitable for persons wishing to see Paris on a budget.

Amazing hotel. Great staff, great location. Accessible to major tourist attractions via the metro. Great transport system. Be wary of people around the metro who are not metro staff. Dodgey characters!!. Got conned out of some money.

Close to train station, rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels provided, very clean upon arrival as well. Breakfast was a bit over priced, but we saved about 50% by booking this hotel online. Would stay here again if in Paris.

This hotel made us feel we were in the heart of Paris, very urban and romantic. The french doors opening out into the street were magnificent with the great weather we enjoyed. The room was modern (small, as we expected) and the bath and shower (in room) were new, beautiful and very European. Morning meal provided was very thorough for 'continental breakfast'. The staff was polite; made every effort to communicate with us in English. Of course, we were not there much since we explored the city.

Everything was quite good at 'Relais de Paris la Fayette' although we had just one problem that made us chenge our minds about the quality of the hotel: during 1 day of our stay, warm water didn't work at the bathroom, so we had to shower with cold water. I don't know if it's the responsability of the hotel or not (I think so), but in cities like Paris, is a problem to have a cold water shower in May... we are not talking of a cheap hotel (80 EUROS per night). All the others things were quite good, and one of the most important things: rooms were very clean.

Excellent location, unusually good plumbing, above-average breakfast (in ordinary surroundings), attractive room decor. Ah, but the noise.... Cell phones in the hall, children thundering on the stairs, coughing fits all night long next door, and a 4 hour party upstairs that the manager refused to stop. Even the reasonable price won't bring us back.

Management was wonderful. Rooms were excellent. Definitely would recommend staying here and would also stay there again if we found ourselves in Paris again. Little hard to find but definitely worth it.

This hotel is in a poor area - And it is quite "seedy" in terms of upkeep. The telephones didn't work and the personnel were at atimes very unfriendly. It was not what I expected at all. I didn't think the rooms were particularly clean - no pillowcases on the beds, just a sheet thrown over the pillows so you couldn't move them at all. I would never stay there again. It is quite a distance with heavy luggage from the train station and there were few lighted streets. Loud hotel next door which came through our window. But, we got there and everything worked out okay.
