Very nice stay in this hotel. Small but cozy rooms. Gentle and forthcoming staff. Position is just perfect - half way up the montmartre hill (Sacré Cœur) and not even 30 meters from Metro station. The pictures on the website show the exact rooms we had (48 and 46). Breakfast is exactly french (white bread/ toast, croissant, jam coffee/tea, jouices, yogurt). I say exactly french because we never saw any cereal/müesli - but we never even asked for it. If you want to see the Eiffel tower it's these and one other one I don't know the number of... We evn had a small sweet gift for x-mas. We'll gladly (and probably) return to this hotel. If you want boiling hot water in the shower you might want to avoid the shower-rush-hour between 8 and 8:30 am.

The room was small but pleasant, with an AMAZING view of the skyscape of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. If it hadn't been for the view, I'd have said the value for money was much lower (maybe 3 or 4). The hotel is very, very convenient for Montmartre and Pigalle. It's easy to find, and the staff are pleasant. We stayed for two nights. The breakfast was excellent value for 8 euros.

While I understand the hotel is a traditional small hotel I felt that it could be improved greatly by: facilities to make drinks, tea/cofee either downstairs or in the rooms by provision of kettle etc. Provision of small fridge within the room or a cold drinks machine downstairs. The hotel was being painted internally during our stay and the lighting in the stairs needs to be improved for safety. The room we had overlooked the square and the noise levels from outside meant we could not have the windows open. (On the saturday night the bars in the square did not close until nearly 5am!) As we could not have the windows open and it was a particularly warm weekend the heat in the room was over bearing and we did not sleep well at all for the 3 night stay. Having said this we did enjoy our stay and we understand that this part of paris is very busy with a lot of bars/restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Would I stay there again?, probably not BUT this bears no relection on the staff or hotel, just on the location due to noise levels made worse by the inability to have the windows open due to the unusually warm weather during our stay.

The walls must be very thin because you can hear everything from your neighbour's room (TV at 4.am !, people chatting). Otherwise, everything was very good. Clean and lovely room. Welcoming staff and great surroundings ! I would still not recommend this hotel for a business trip because of the nuisance from neighbouring rooms.

Room was nice but small. The shower was also small in our particular room. It could only fit a person about 5'8". The location was convenient: very close to a metro stop, pharmacy, post office, park, cafes, ATMs, etc. Could be a bit noisy from the outside, however, but that wasn't a deal breaker.

We stayed for three nights and just loved the location. It's smack in the middle of Montmartre, but thankfully a few blocks away from the worst crowded tourist areas. The streets next to the hotel is full of nice cafés and bistros and small shops with beautiful clothes and shoes. The room was clean and bright and the windows opened onto the lovely place des Abbessess. However, I am not sure we really got the room we paid for (a privilege room. We did see a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower, but the room was not on one of the two topmost floors with a view of "the rooftops of Paris". In the end though, the view was lovely and I did not mind not having to walk those extra flights of stairs. Some of the staff spoke ok English but not all, which led to some misunderstandings, even though I tried French to the best of my abilities.

The daytime receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room was small, but we knew that before we arrived. We did not try the breakfast as there is a lovely bakery next door. Very close to the Abbesses metro station which is convenient.

Very good location, walking distance from gare du nord. Our room had a lovely french decó, silent at night even though it was at the first floor, very clean room. Entrance and comun places where not so pretty as the room. The breakfast room is quite sad, don´t start your day there, go to the amazing coffe Coquelicot 30m around the corner where they have amazing breakfast and bread!

This hotel is not bad, but : - the lift is really small and not convenient. - the rooms are a bit old, but they have the typical cute style of Montmartre area. It can be a pro or a con depending on what you are seeking for. - the receptionists are not very helpfull. You feel that you're in the big city, in a place with a lot of customers, and you're not an important one. - bathroom is too small Besides to that, I had a great sleep, the room was ok, and the price was not that high. However I won't keep a good memory of this hotel and won't come back. There is probably better for the same price. Je ne reviendrais pas !!!

Nice hotel with lovely view over the Montmartre rooftops. Relatively pricey (120 euro per night for double bed room) considering size of room and the fact that breakfast wasn't included. But perhaps that is just the overall price level of Parisian hotels.

Not too bad. Stayed for 3 nights. Covers are old and textile on the walls , but design is as on pictures - looks nice. We had a room with a view to the square so it was a little bit noisy - cleaning machines in early morning, drunk people in the night. Simple hotel in good location. Not too small rooms as you can meet in Paris hotels. But better is to live in several streets upper - there is a real Montmartre - calm and beautiful.

Pleasant hotel in a great location. There was a secure place in the cellar for our bikes, although the space was pretty small and access a bit tricky due to a steep winding staircase! That aside, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the location was fabulous. Could be a bit noisy early in the morning, but I tend to sleep through that sort of thing. Well worth paying the extra for a top floor room as the view over Paris was beautiful.

It does get very hot in paris in summer so it would have been great to have a fan at least in the room. It is a great and lively area but even with the double glazed windows there was some noise, and we had to have the windows open as it was so hot. We thought breakfast was included but it was not, it would have been good for the receptionist to tell us beforehand. When we arrived the communication about check out/ breakfast/ leaving the key when going out was poor.

Close to Montmatre which is nice. Right nx to the Abessess Metro station but is a pain in the arse to get to that station fr the airport. Easier to catch the metro from Pigalle, just down the rd from the hotel (in the red light district). Hotel is only 2stars so don't expect much. Clean enough I s'pose, just everything is dark and dingey and feels very old. I guess some ppl call that the Bohemian/ Parisian way.

Pěkný rodinný hotýlek na výborně dostupném místě v Paříži. Vchod do metra cca 50m (nefrekventovaná zastávka).

My experience was that as a budget hotel this was an excellent choice. The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is superb, being central for bohemian Paris, Montmartre and Sacre-Coeur. Definitely staying here again!

The room was quite small and a little dated. The bed was very comfortable and there was a safe in the wardrobe which was a plus. A nice touch with wall-fabric and beams on the ceiling. The bathroom was clean but a few tiles were cracked. The location was great both in regards to the nice surroundings and closeness to the metro. Overall a great value for money.

Must be one of the best locations in Paris if you want easy access to the metro, and a true village outside your door for laundry, internet and a great choice of cafes and restaurants. Just off the tourist route but walk 10 min to all the action and interest. Good shower and clean bathroom and two star comfort in the room. Rooms over-looking the street get full afternoon sun. Totally recommend this hotel.

The position was excellent and next to a metro station. It was all very small, but served its purpose. It would have been useful to have some drawer space and tea or coffee making facilities. It was clean. It is very noisy outside at night and early morning if you need the windows open.We could see Eiffel Tower which looked lovely lit up at night. The lift was incredibly tiny, one person and large case only!Had breakfast at local bar.Good eating available locally.

Only problem was a leaking (from the bottom seal) toilet that left our WC with a perpetual line of water from the toilet to the door, and ultimately the carpet immediately in front of the WC. Still, a beautiful room and a beautiful view. We loved the room decor and there was always a welcoming attendent at the front desk. We will stay again.

It is a charming hotel just in the centre of the pulsing mont matre area. The rooms and facilities are very small. However, they were equipped with everything one needs. For breakfast we had more than enough pastries, no eggs though.

I've been there with my girlfriend and it was a good place to stay. We choose a standard room which is a bit small and has not a good view but still it has the TV, closet and bathroom and was more than expected for what we paid. The room is very clean and quiet both during the night and late in the morning. The staff did not speak italian so we had to speak english but they were very kind and offered help for whatever we needed. The building is very close to the metro station "Abbesses", I'd say 30m, so you can get anywhere you want in Paris real fast. Optionally, you can have breakfast at the hotel for 8 euros / person, which is a bit expensive for my taste but then again, it's totally optional. I enjoyed my stay, so I recommend this place.

The room itself was a little cramped - but this is what we expected. It was a 'good price, no nonsense hotel' - room good enough, clean enough and facilities okay (it has the worlds smallest lift - but still it has one). The noise/quietness was a little disappointing - could hear a couple 'enjoying themselves' (although she was rather loud) and some heavy snoring - but that was in the quiet time. However - packing earplugs was a solution (and always recommended). It was our first time in Paris - and were happy to have booked here. Overall good enough.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms well maintained and clean. The windows were double glazed which was necessary as the cafes outside could be a little noisy. The only two areas of improvement would be to have free WiFi and Cable available, but we appreciate it is a two star hotel.

The location was perfect, and the rooms was better than the pictures on the web sight. The staff was warm and helpful. I brought my daughter and mother i law, and we had a great stay. To the staff; It`s a easier way to get to the Orly airport than you recomanded. Take the Metro to Montpernasse and then the bus straight to the airport. :-)
