Hotel Pulitzer Paris - Paris

The hotel is great for Paris though a bit worse than in Barcelona. They should have used more bright and light colors - at least in public areas (hotel hall, bar). Now it looks a bit gloomy (but I'm sure it's meant to mean designer approach-) Would be great if they had team and coffee in the rooms. Overall, it's worth visiting, good central location and very friendly staff.

Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig für vielseitige Unternehmungen, ob nun zu Fuß oder mit der Metro. Leider aber, und das ist eigentlich auch der einzige Kritikpunkt, ist das Platzangebot im Toilettenbereich so minimalistisch, dass größere Personen schon etwas unkonventionell veranlagt sein müssen, um mit der Situation klar zu kommen. Da auch die eingebaute Wanne für das Reinigungspersonal nicht so leicht in allen Bereichen zu erreichen ist, war in diesem Zimmer (Zimmer 105) ein Streifen Schimmel ein ständiger Duschbegleiter. ... aber sonst ging`s ....

TERRIBLE PROBLEM - when we arrived in the evening we were told no room was available. The hotel had received the booking fro you but they were already overbooked!!! They helped the best they could but had to transfer us to another hotel close by - this hotel was very BAD - small room, bad smell, not the facilities we had expected. This was very upsetting and stressful for us. The Pulitzer staff helped the best they could but the fault lies with your booking service. You had sent us an email Confirming our booking! This is not a good service.

My poor review has to do with the lack of spaciousness in a room described as standard. The hotel should never describe as standard, a really tiny room where you cannot house your luggage or stay for more than a couple of nights. The lame excuse was that this is the standard for Paris, which is not true since we had visited Paris four times before our stay in the particular hotel. We had to upgrade because we were staying for a week and the extra cost of 40 euros per night was the price list price, though we had booked in late August. On the bright side, the hotel is really close to the metro and very convenient for moving around.
