Sorry but all the equipments are very old and not working properly. The bathroom stinks. Need to close the bathroom door to decrease the bad smell in the room itself. The room wasn't clean. Could feel some sand and dust under my shoes. And I doubt they regularly change the bed cover. Noisy hotel! Wow, won't recommend this; even to somebody I hate.

The rooms are small. Not very quiet beacause it is near by the main street. If you don't care the space and cleaness of the room this hotel is good for their price.

I left my things at the authorised room (which can be entered only by staff) and two of my souvenir were missing. When I asked receptionist, he just refused to answer me properly, pretending that he doesn't understand English. What a rude person!!!

Basic hotel with basic facilities. If u need a place to sleep it is ok, but not really spend my day there :)) Old furniture, olda bathroom and the walls really need to repaint, but the towels and the bed was clean (except the cover :)) ) For the price it is ok.

Very good price for the quality. It's a pity the lift didn't worked... We were very tired after the day, so to go to the sixth floor was very hard. But thank you anyway!

First impression was bad as we were requested to pay the full amount contrary to the reservation statement. Hotel is worth for money. I liked the location, good connection to Metro, the line allows to get to the City center very fast. If I visit Paris one more time, I would possibly consider staying at the other hotel.

This hotel is not the best hotel in paris it is not the best decorated or the most central. However it was 36 euro for a room for a night the room was reasonably clean , the service was ok, the hotel is around 20m from the metro and next door to mc donalds so for a good value hotel it is fine for the price you pay

We stayed 9 different hotels in Paris, dued to the last minutes booking. This is the farest one from downtown, but the best view, since this is the only one with balcony on the 6th floor. The bathroom is ok, barely. The street can be noisy, not far from highway, and close to Carrfour, a French mall, and last-for-miles street marker. It is few blocks away from Pere-la-chaise cemetery. (It might not be safe to walk alone in the neighborhood at night.)

The room was rather small and it was very loud at all. If your busy all day you want to sleep at night, but you simply hear EVERYTHING. When anybody opens a door you think it yours. But for this low price its ok. You have RER and Metro directly in front of the Hotel und an Mc Donalds next door. Its a skid row, but in outlying districts its everywhere the same. - I think... If you dont want to stay in hotel all day its rather ok.

Very dirty. The bathroom had a terrible mouldy smell, and it was definitely not clean. Had I not paid for the room, I would have definitely left. One of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Again - stress DIRTY. Also, on the stairways it was full of dirty sheets and rubbish in bags. The lift is so small it can only take one at a time, so you have to use the stairs. Overall rating - VERY POOR. Don't recommend this hotel at all. I've stayed at cheaper places that were far better.

I strongly recommend you look for a different hotel in Paris. I quickly learned that this hotel is outside of Paris, at least a 40 minute train ride. The area is full of immigrants and resemble a slum yard. The hotel is old, dirty, and grimy. My traveling partner had to ask for toliet paper daily, the shower was so small that If you moved slightly you could hit parts of your body. The staff was not at all friendly or welcoming, and made it seem like they were doing you a favor whenever you asked a question. This was one of my worst hotel expriences and I strongly recommend you spend the extra $ and stay in downtown Paris, where it is safe, fun, and worth the cost. The only good thing about this hotel was that the train station was outside of it, a Mcdonalds nearby, and some Internet cafes. Otherwise, dont stay here!

Room dirty, bathroom clean enough. Sourrundings ??? Four beds available. One of them between two walls ... closer than the lenghtness of the bed. At 06.30 loud music for 45 minutes from other room and no reaction from the personnel. I'll never go back to this hotel.

this hotel is a good choice if you don"t have lot of money and youre a bit independant. I guess that the rooms are more or less noisy considering their location (upon the street or not). The area is popular but nice, for sure it's not the romanticparis as seen on travel books, for me it's the best of this town.

A good basic hotel. The room was small but clean and quiet with the windows closed. Good for those looking for economical accomodation. The only drawback is that you have to travel quite a way on the subway to reach the sites. Overall a good hotel and I would consider staying here again.

I paid 45euros for a single room. There were 2 single beds that were as hard as cement. The tv had 5 channels and was blurry. The reason I knew how to get to the hotel was from a previous review, the metro is right in front. The picture with McDonalds is right now. The bathroom smelled like the sewer. The stairway was never vaccuumed. The elevator was small and would only fit one person with one piece of luggage.

This hotel is great for a single traveller who can sleep through traffic and plumbing noise. I happened to mostly be such a traveller. If you are not I would recommend paying more for somewhere else. The internet price here was surely a bargain. I would certainly sleep here again at this rate. The breakfast is a little pricey, BTW. I would recommend getting a crescent accross the street.

Good hotel, but really load, even when you are on the 5th floor. It is located at a rather busy intersection with busses passing by. The window did provide virtually no sound protection (nor insulation, but that was not so much of an issue). The hotel is a good value if you don't mind traffic noise more or less all night. Noise from other rooms was not an issue in this building. Hot water was OK even on 5th floor. Elevator was under repair for a few days. For the price of 32 EUR a night (single room) it was OK, but I would not pay 60 or so. As you can see on the map the hotel is rather close to the Peripherique, so not in the center, but the metro is really close by.

This was not the best hotel more one that you just stop for one night. The staff were not nice and didnt really want to help when not given any towels, also there was just one big pillow to share between the two of us instead of a pillow each, the shower was very old and water went everywhere. i dont think anyone should stay here if you want comfort. the only good things was it location that the metro is right out the front door, other than that give it a miss.

In the first room beds were like sleeping on concrete: we didn't get much sleep. Toilet was making noise nonstop, the floor surface was raising in bubbles: it was difficult to open the door. Eletricity went off every day for hours! After the first day we demanded another room. They gave us another room the third day: very smelly and with sealing completely moulded, which is actually a complete health risk. We did not accept it. They gave us another room, which was ok for the third night. It was like staying in a slum. Not worth the money. The only good thing was the free wireless internet network next door in macdonalds. They also were turning away people with reservations who had directly arrived from the airport.

Probably one of the worst hotels ever. The walls are probably made out of cardboard and the ceeiling was about to fall in. The elevator was claustrofobic and the rooms were cold. Not a single radiator in the whole hotel! Takes forever to get in to the city centre with the metro, and I've seen nicer neighbourhoods. Don't stay here if you don't have too!

The hotel Printania is located on the edge of the 20th. There are locals’ shops/cafes/bars because it is a very local’s area. Every color and nationality was represented in this district. It is quite colorful! The metro and night bus stops are right there at the corner of the hotel property. Staff at check in is pleasant; the maid was gracious and welcoming. She checked on me and asked if I had enough of everything on the first day, and continued to ask me if I was ok for towels/soap/shampoo/etc. I was lucky to get a room with a small balcony. The hotel room/bathroom is small, but this is Paris! The biggest down side is that they are still going thru a renovation. When I was there in late April 2006, they were working on the flooring (hard wood laminate). The pounding and drilling noise was started at 9am sharp. This isn’t an issue if you plan to be up and exploring the city in the morning like I was. But you may want to consider this if you plan on sleeping the morning away! The noise from the big intersection is loud when the French door/windows are open. But when closed, there is almost no noise at all. They really do have sound proofing in the windows. Side note: when locking your door to leave for the day, you must double flip the key (2 clicks). I did only one click and it wasn’t locked. I was lucky that nothing went wrong while I was gone!!! Check in is easy and check out is easier. Great price! I suspect that when they are through with renovations, it will be a bit higher in price. But from what I asked of the contractor, renovations are planned well into the summer, none of it being done before 9am! I would absolutely book again here! Great price, even for a little 2 star property!!! Questions? Email me at CynCityFan@hotmail.com

The hotel was ok to stay a few nights in Paris. Not to bad, for a single guy was using the room just to sleep after a long day visiting the city. The bed was really really hard to sleep well. But the room was clean, only the look just a little bit old. Really cheap to be Paris.

The issue of security is not addressed in your questioneer. In December 2005 I was your guest and my luggage was stolen at the registration desk while I was checking in. This would not have happened if there had been adaquate security at the front door. The security could be imporved immensely if a simple lock/buzzer system were installed. At this time when the desk clerk is checking people in he/she is sitting at a computer and the guests are standing in front of the desk obscuring his/her view of the front door. Another suggestion that would help in the meantime is to move the computer to the side of the desk so that guests would need to stand to the side of the counter to check in. Thereby leaving a clear view of the front door by both the desk clerk and the guests. The staff, by in large were friendly and helpful. You have one employee that displayed exceptional customer service skills. Skills that might be expected in a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. She was courteous, helpful and friendly, not only to me but to everyone that came to the desk. She is a credit to your staff. However there was another front desk employee who identifed himself as Ibrum, who was rude, condensending and obnoxious to customers. At first I thought he was rude only to me, but I had the opportunity to observe him for an afternoon while I was waiting in the front lobby for a friend. He was very rude to everyone who came to the desk. He is a liability to your image and to your front desk customer service staff. My overall stay was positive and I would select to stay at the Pritiana Hotel again. The location is excellent and the prices are very good for the budget minded traveler. Thank you for the opportunity of staying at your hotel. Kachina Riley

Staff were very helpful. Hotel is located on the 9 line Porte de Montreuil and very accessible to other subway lines and sites. The beds were very hard and my boyfriend had trouble sleeping. Overall the Printania offers good Value for money. The accomodation is basic and meets the requirments of the star rating, however the friendly staff and location(right next to metro and a short walk from the hub at Nation where you can catch the RER)make the Printania ideal for getting around.
