Hotel Princesse Isabelle - La Défense, Paris

The bathroom was moldy. The courtyard was very tacky with plastic flowers. Breakfast was included and was very good.

Very difficult to find from the metro station.. its not 7mins walk as it says on their site.. around 15min and 30mins with luggages.. the receptionist felt somehow intimidated, that if u correct something or make an ammendment on something they just feel shy and bow their heads.. they looked tired.. 3 days we've stayed and i've only seen two chinese girls exchanging shifts..

Familienzimmer in der 5 Etage Preis ok, Wirlpool im Zimmer nicht sehr sauber und nur als Badewanne zu gebrauchen, nachts sehr ruhig, Aufzug bis zur 4 Etage sehr klein, Frühstück in der Woche besser als am Wochenende, Indisches Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft ist OK, direkte Gegend nicht sehr ansehnlich, Entfernung zur Metro ca.10 min zu Fuß

This hotel is in a run-down area and too far from the centre of Paris to be used as a base for sight-seeing the city.

Albergo nel complesso ottimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo.Ideale per famiglie con bambini.La metropolitana e' vicina all'albergo il quartiere (la defense) di sera e' abbastanza isolato.

The hotel is near to the Metro Station (about 10 minutes by foot) and so ideal for turist. The area of La Defence is not a location for young people, so I appreciated the quiet.

For the price, this hotel was excellent, a quiet clean room for travelers on a tight budget. My only warning is that in staying out at La Defense, you are condemning yourself to a bit of a metro or RER ride anytime you want to go in to town. We mostly went in to town in the mornings, and came back at night.

Hotel suits the business traveller very well for its close proximity to La Defense, free wireless within the hotel is an added bonus. Only problem was that there wasn't any cafe or restaurant within the Hotel and they didn't allow any food to be consumed in the room too, quite inconvenient if you're a lady travelling alone as the streets surrounding the hotel are pretty quiet in the evenings and there are only a handful of restaurants around the hotel.

Typical small parisian hotel. Clean rooms, recently renovated (but not necessarily to north american standards). Room access through interior garden which makes it nice and peaceful. Breakfast was good. 10-minute walk to subway and RER at La Défense gives quick access to downtown Paris. Puteaux is an uninteresting for tourists, but with all conveniences (bakery, grocery, atm, pharmacy, shopping center at La defense, etc). Only negative was the smell of smoke in the room. Overall, we liked our stay at Princesse Isabelle.

I stayed in the Hotel Princesse for 4 nights with my husband and my mother. We have celebrated my mother's birthday in Paris. The photos on the webpage show the reality: the rooms are little bit small, but clean with a charming furniture and some rooms have a nice view on the Tour Eiffel. All the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was also OK, according to a 3star hotel level. I think Hotel Princesse was the best choice for its price. 10 minutes walk from one of the main metro lines of Paris and in a very safety and clean area. We would return anytime.

It was a perfect stay, we is a 5 persons family from Denmark. La Defense is a perfect place, the Hotel is close to the underground, and there is lot of shopping possibilities very close. We can recommend this hotel.

Everything was all right! Of course, one could wish another breakfast room and the replacement rate of croissants and bread could be higher!

Enfin une chambre "king size" pour famille nombreuse... Dommage que les fenetres sur le toit n'offraient guère de vue. Sinon l'accueil et la gentillesse de nos hôtes ont donné beaucoup de charme à notre séjour.

Location is the big problem with this place. It is just outside a big Stalinist office complex called La Defense, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the Metro station (the only public transport option except for the RER, which is even further). As in most of Paris, escalators are scarce and often broken, With three kids and a stroller, we had a horrible time getting from the RER stop to the hotel the first night, especially since we didn't have a map detailing where to walk or how to avoid taking several sets of stairs. (La Defense is elevated and the hotel neighborhood is not.) The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. But the family suite is accessible only by stairs so there again we had daily stroller struggles. We were strongly advised to visit a certain pizzeria (they kept telling us it was much better than the one across the street) but when we finally did go, it was not run by Italians, the food was mediocre and inauthentic and we were disappointed. The hotel must have some sort of relationship with the restaurant. The neighborhood actually has a lot of couscous places and Arabic stores and you'd be better off trying those.

The hotel is in an excellent location, the people at the hotel were really great, except for the Spanish lady who had a very negative attitude. The internet services were sub-standard and bound to the lobby, and no tables were provided, but overall a great hotel and I would stay there again.

This hotel gives real value for money. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The subway is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and you are in the city centre in no time! The hotel is situated in a residential area near La Defence, that means that there are plenty of restaurants close to the hotel. The Italian restaurant across the street was cheap and tasty!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Princesse Isabelle sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten hatten alle gute Matrazen, wir haben mit geöffneten Dachfenstern bis morgens um 9 Uhr geschlafen ohne durch irgend einen Lärm gestört zu werden. Die Zimmerreinigung war ausgezeichnet. Einziges kleines Bmoll: der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein und ohne Fenster, aber das hat uns nicht weiter gestört.

Really good value hotel, slightly let down by some of the staff, although others were very helpful. Good air conditioning and very quiet area.

Uscita vivamente consigliata metro: Esplanade de la defense. Camere pulite, abbondanti colazioni. Il quartiere è tranquillo e non pericoloso

We enjoyed our time at the Princesse Isabelle a lot. It was in a very quiet neighborhood where we felt very safe and comfortable. The rooms were good, nice to have a bathtub/shower and minibar/refrigerator. The staff was very, very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The only complaint was that the online car directions were almost non-existence. We only found the place accidentally. But it was great once we arrived. There was also a great restaurant nearby.

Gelegen im beschaulichen Puteaux, ca. 6 Min. fußweg zur Metrostation Esplanade de La Défence, mit netten Restaurants in der Umgebung waren wir vollauf zufrieden. Frühstück gab es zwar im UG, war aber für franz. Verhältnisse sehr ordentlich. Freundliches Personal - gutes Prreis/Leistungsverhältnis.
