Hotel Prince Albert Lyon Bercy - Paris

The masculine staff is very rude, the ladys of the staff (reception and kitchen) are very nice and speak good english. The wifi free is good.

We stay only a for a night but this hotel is very nice, refreshed & well equiped. to be recommended.

Staff at the hotel is no less than outstanding: exceptionally cheery, helpful; all spoke excellent English and offered to help with French translations and pronunciations. Rooms were spotless and linens were changed each day. I would certainly stay there again. The absolute only down side: breakfast is expensive; however, two blocks up Charenton and a couple of blocks to the right is an outstanding patisserie with tables and chairs and the best coffee, pastries and bread I've had in Paris. Can't recall the name, but it's just across the street from the Puerto Cacao chocolate shop. Les Temps Moderne on Charenton has good, reasonably-priced food. There's a mostly open-air food market and a couple of small supermarkets nearby. Avoid the pizza shop down the street from the hotel. Hotel is very well-located within a few blocks of the Gare de Lyon and Rue Diderot. The area is hip but relatively inexpensive with numerous shops and bistros, including a couple of ATMs.

Conformity issues described, price, offer, inside the hotel rooms are not well insulated from noise helpful staff and good location, the center of Paris. Restaurants and fast access to the Gare de Lyon, or other transport.

Good location, close to gare de Lyom, close to metro station. Room and bathroom very clean,

Clean, spacious and quiet room. Public area not very welcoming.

Good hotel if you want to be close to the Lyon train station. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The area is not however the most beautiful/touristic in town, so if you want to have a romantic weekend or hollidays, try something downtonwn.

Very convenient to Gare de Lyon. Small room with 2 twin beds pushed together instead of a double bed. A little expensive for what you get.

Price exagerated and usually Internet booking provides lower prices than actual rate. This time it was not the case!

Hotel was pretty close to Gare de Lyon, was very clean, had nice sized bathroom. Only big negative was the pitiful pull-out bed our third person had to sleep on so that our room could be considered a "triple". Staff was very accomodating (let us store luggage while we were gone for 3 days BEFORE our stay began).

Working in the staircase during our stay in the hotel. Rooms, staircase and lift too small. Breakfast and fares too expensive. I can't recommend this hotel at all.
