Nice hotel for few nights in Paris, you can walk to see the important historical sites, shopping galleries.Minibar, hairdryer and safebox with no extracharge, small room but clean. Some people may find that doors and windows are old fashion, but this is a part of Paris charm.

For Paris, this room and its bathroom were pretty good in size, just that hotel is on a very noisy street, though when window was closed and fan on, it was a quiet room.

Where to begin? So many things to say. Firstly the bad....of which there are many. The lift is ridiculously small, we had to make several trips on account of it being only 1ft x 6ft wide, the bed was very creaky, the room was ridicoulsly hot (we had been to athens and rome just before this and it was hotter in the room than it was outside in either of the aforementioned cities), the bathroom needs renavating, balcony doors very fiddly and stiff, the balcony railings only came upto my waist and anyone could fall over easilly + it was shared with the next room, in the hall there was a plug socket coming out the wall with wires showing, the breakfast consisted of 1 croissant and 1 baguette (same thing every day) which we weren't allowed to take ourselves or take away from the dinning area. Even worse however was the fact that you were not allowed to leave the premises with your room key, we weren't initially told this so when we came back one evening we got shouted at for it. The third night we came back at 1am, not having any keys we found the front door looked and the receptionist trying to sleep on a sofa in the lobby even thought it is suppost to be manned 24/7. The main reason for going to this hotel was to earn a free bottle of champagne. We were told we would get this for staying 3 consecutive nights including weekend days. We stayed wednesday, thursday and friday which apparently enabled us to the freebie we emailed to confirm this. When we arrived however we were told that this was only available for customers staying friday, saturday and sunday nights. The location is very good with two metro stations (on opposite lines) just arround the corner, there are loads of shops, resturants and bars, one of the guys one the front desk was very helpful phoning a pharmacy for me and giving me directions.

This was my first trip to Paris, so I really didn't know what you expect. You know, you hear the Parisians don't really like Americans, or they are rude to tourists, etc. My experience was as perfect as you could as for. Everyone at the hotel was so kind and helpful I thought it was a fluke. Then got out to Paris and experienced the same thing! The people were terrific, kind, and helpful. I will definitely be going to Paris again - hopefully at the same hotel.

The bathroom was sparking clean, the bed exceptionally comfortable, even the linens were nicer than most hotels of this character. The front desk staff was super friendly, the proximity to everything, excellent. There is street noise, but that's true of virtually every small Parisian hotel on a busy street. The elevator should probably be in the book of world records for the smallest ever built (and I'm petite), but at least they have one! The value was very good and I will be staying here next year on my trip.

Dingy room with dingy beds for the price 90 Euros + tax + 6 breakfast (optional) per person for late May 2006 booking. 60 Euros would be more appropriate for this hotel. However, it is close to the Galerie Lafayette (about 5 blocks) and to the Orlys Bus to take you to the CDG airport. Excellent staff, especially Jalil. Very competent & very helpful in everyway. We switched to a better hotel, it was a little more $ but definitely worth it. I don't mind staying at Peletier Haussman Opera but not for 90 Euros.

The hotel was in an excellent location, but the building works on the adjacent property woke us up at around 7am each morning. For this reason I could not stay at this hotel again unless the works had definitely finished. We really suffered due to the lack of sleep, as it was only a short trip anyway.

We had booked for 4 nights but only stayed for 1 because of the building work going on in the adjoining building. At 7am the Kango hammers started. The noise was intolerable. We packed and went to look for another hotel. We had to pay for 2 nights. We have 4 children at home and getting up at 7am wasn't part of our relaxng itinary. We were both conconerned about the fire exit which was the main stairway. If a fire had started in the stairway there was no other way out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Paris but this hotel definately won't be remembered as one of the hihglights!!!

This charming little hotel is located in a fantastic area 'Opera' and within walking distance to the Lourve. Although the room & bathroom is small, it was clean and the beds comfortable. The size of the room wasn't an issue because we were only there to sleep. There was construction taking place next door (Sep'05) so it was a bit noisy. The lift is only big enough to fit your bag so be prepared to climb the steps to get to your room. There is one computer for internet access at a charge of 2 euro for each use - this was not working when I was there. Overall I was very happy with this hotel.

It takes about 15 minutes walk to the major department stores. The construction next building is going on Mon - Fri from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. So I won't recommend it if U want to sleep late or take an afternoon nap. The subway is closed by and very convenient. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Bathroom with excelent warm water and room clean. Excelent hotel location very near to the Opera-Garnier and Lafayette stores. Very small rooms and extremly ridiculous small elevator. But it works. There was a building demotition at the hotel left side that starts working al 07.00 with consecuent noise. No Internet services in spite of having some kind of ADSL connection at the reception. Clerks has no idea how to manage it. There was a very old booknote with french keyboard without the minimum mail services and programs to get the mails. It was imposible to connect my own laptop. Good money security box at the room. Breakfast not included in price and is not cheap.

Very enjoyable stay! The building next to the hotel was being renovated yet I hardly heard anything. My room was on the 5th floor and the elevator was too small to allow both baggage and owner; still the huff-and-puff and few drops of precipitation were well worth it all. The hotel is situated on a side street off Blvd. Haussmann and a hop-skip-jump from the Opera which also happens to be the stop for the Rossy bus from CDG. It is also very close to all the main walking arteries into the heart of Paris. Breakfast is optional but at EUR 6 it is really nothing to complain about. Didn't appreciate that the staff smoked, but at least it wasn't a Gitane. All in all highy recommended.

Very very well located. The employees are very nice and ready to help. The rooms are clean, although a bit small (but it´s Paris!!). The worst part is that you hear almost everything that happens in the other rooms. But if you don´t mind that, this hotel is a good choice (given the price).
