Hotel Paris Gambetta - Paris

It is just perfect, the rooms have the best bathrooms in the whole Paris, big, white, clean, spotless, and with a view! Really great bathrooms. The staff is super friendly and they speak all languages (english, spanish, portuguese, a really unique thing in Paris. And the best of all is the bus 69, that stops right at the door, and takes you everywhere, kind of a city tour bus. You can take that bus to go to Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Rivoli, Bastille. And if you are going home late night (no more 69 bus after 11pm) from the city is only an 11 euros taxi to Gambetta Hotel. Really great. Fabiana, Yaco and Juan from Argentina/Amsterdam.

For a small hotel, away from the bustling crowds of Paris, it was great. It is not a five-star hotel, but it is clean, friendly and just barely a block to the metro. I would highly recommend it.

Hotel clean and in a lovely neighbourhood, close to the tube station. Plenty of nice restaurants to choose from. Great value for money

Hotel not very good soundproofed. Some noises with doors, but the rest is very good! Free Wi-Fi very good signal.

Good value clean simple hotel close to Pere Lachaise cemetery and 50 metres from the Gambetta metro. Bars and restaurants near-by for (cheaper) breakfast and dinner.

A stay at a 2 star hotel in Paris is always a guess. Our 4-day stay in this hotel was more than acceptable. Rooms were not ready/cleaned from the time of our arrival at 13:30hs. until 15:30hs. Despite the noise of their neighbors, the room of our daughters was comfortable and even twice as big as our room. The complaint about the noisy neighbors was immediately taken care of and solved by the staff. The personnel at the front desk were friendly, correct and spoke good English. The parking that we had reserved was close by and the price 15,00 Euros per day was fair. A big plus for travellers by car. The hotel is just a kilometer away from the periferique. Metro and/or bus station just a one minute walk. Although located in a busy area the nights were remarkably quiet. Security measures like evacuation in case of fire were very poor for a six store building. Gambetta is recommendable

We would never order a breakfast again, because in the cafes around it would be cheaper and bigger. but we would stay in this hotel again.
