One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Very clean and well kept and all the staff, were extremely efficient and at the same time friendly and welcoming. The breakfast -(which was included in the price) provided a very good choice and was of excellent quality, and the staff on hand were very efficient and friendly. There was a good feeling and ambience in the hotel generally, both amongst the staff and guests. The hotel was situated in a quiet pedestrian street with many interesting shops and a large range of restaurants within easy walking distance. The Cadet Metro station was a few minutes away as was the bus stop to Montmartre so access to all the attractions was very good. Our room was incredibly quiet despite the fact that the hotel was in the middle of Paris (in fact all that could be heard in the morning was the sound of the birds) and the outlook over the hotel's walled garden was attractive. Secure parking was extra (about 14 euros a night).

Our interation with staff at Hotel Opera Cadet was excellent mainly because the receptionist speak portuguese and other languages. The breakfast was good. W will stay in this hotel in other opportunities.

Excellent 3star hotel. We had a family room, 2 adults and kids at 13 and 16. The room was quite large and nice, very nice bathroom and good service. Recommend this hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here (July 2004 and July 2001). This is good hotel -well maintained, clean and a nice atmosphere. The staff are competent and relaxed. Our room in 01 was a really good size but this time around our room was small. However, we were just as happy to stay this time given we arrived very early and didn't have to wait for a room, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the hotel and of course its location (30 meters from the Opera Metro). The hotel is as is described.

By carFrom all directions, drive towards the Périphérique (ring road), exit at Porte de la Chapelle, get on Rue de la Chapelle, Boulevard de la Chapelle. Turn into Rue Maubeuge and follow on until Rue Châteaudun. Go down the street until Rue La Fayette and turn right into Rue Cadet, where the hotel is located.
By train
From all railway stations, take underground line 7 to Cadet. Once in Rue La Fayette, make a left into Rue Cadet, where the hotel is located.
By airplane
From both Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, take RER line B to Châtelet-Les Halles, switch onto underground line 7, get off at Cadet and follow the aforementioned indications.
