Very old and small hotel. Not welcoming at all.. in fact very cold ! Breakfast was served in LG in a kind of garage 16m2 with a woman dragging her feet on the floor and not welcoming at all. Not to be recommended!

Location is out of the way, train station is far on both side. Room small, window are your only ventilation,if you open during winter it become too cold you close it stuffy. No hot water boiler in room, you need to request in the counter and might be told that they don't provide.

The staff was very friendly, and although they knew limited english, were very helpful. i felt completely safe in the neighborhood, even coming back after dark. there is a park next door, so during the day, the children playing can be a little noisy and the walls are rather thin, so the neighbors can be heard quite easily. not always a good thing when they come in at 2am. the rooms are rather small, with just enough space around the bed to stand and change. the metro station is nearby, perhaps a 3-4 minute walk, and the whole of paris is easily accessible. overall, i enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Very nice location, near Metro and buses. Quiet neighborhood away from the tourist locations. Terrific staff. The breakfast was a bit pricey at 10 euros.

Nice hotel, very pleasant neighbourhood, lots of local shops and restaurants. Nice to have a minibar type fridge but it heated up the room tremendously...

The walls a little thin. You could hear your neighbours if they spoke loudly. Other than that, it's a reasonable and comfortable hotel.

The hotel was undergoing renovation work. We had received an email alerting us to this but the work was actually much more extensive than we had anticipated. We spent very little time in the hotel as a consequence of this. The rooms were small and were in need of upgrading. One member of reception staff was extremely helpful. We really liked the area which was residential and just off the Place d'Alesia and near the metro station. There is a super restaurant, Les Lauriers, 5 minutes walk from the hotel which serves excellent French food. There are also numerous cafes and bars in the area. We hope the renovations are completed quickly and the next set of guests have a better experience of the hotel than us!

Good hotel for a budget traveller. Room was small but clean. Rue Moulin Vert is nice quiet place. Bus 58 stops near the hotel and takes you to the center of Paris (Chatelet). Subway station Pernety is 5 minutes of walk. There is a supermarket on Didot st. (works till 9 p.m.) and a lot of small food stores and cafe nearby.

I would only recommend this hotel for a budget traveler who needs nothing but a place to sleep. The room was super small as was the bathroom and shower. I wouldn't recommend to a business traveler or family. For the location and the price it seemed adequate but I wouldn't stay there again.

There are several low cost boutiques in the main streets accessible to the area. Just walking in the surrounding areas gives a glimpse of the life of the parisiens - a much relieved distance from the tourists. Recommended if one is on a short trip to Paris for work.

Good points: quiet location - possible to leave window open overnight, free WiFi, rooms in decent order, nice neighbourhood. Not so good: nothing really.

Conveniently located for good metro line. Rooms were fine in size and description for a budget hotel. However, the walls were paper thin and you could literally hear everything going on elsewhere in the building so for that reason would not return.

Albergo discreto in un quartiere piacevole. Unico problema nella mia camera(n°50) non c'era la cassaforte come indicato sul sito.

Very quiet place. The person at reception was very polite and kind, but the persons in charge to serving breakfast were little bit rude. Near the hotel there's the bus stop of 58 to get to the city central, and metro station of 13 is in 10 minute walk. We can enjoy the shopping at the outlet shops in rue Aresia close to the hotel.

Hotel Moulin Vert is nice small hotel in the "sleeping district" of Paris. Good choice for single or travellers with family. It can be a bit far for the main attractions, but there are very good line of metros and busess nearby! Bus 58 takes you straight to Chatelet through intresting neighborhoods. Walking towards main attractions wasn't too much effort. There are many bakeries and supermarkets nearby. Alesia is also very good shopping street and not too pricey. It's surroundings are not filled with tourist but everyday parisians going to work and taking their kids to school etc. There is a nice park for children and basketball court next to the hotel. Hotel rooms are not the highest design but clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helps you in anyway.

I had a short two night stay to attend a trade fair at Porte de Versailles. The hotel was absolutely perfect for this - quiet, peaceful, yet so close to the metro. Easy access to St. Germain on foot. While the room was small, it had all that I needed and most importantly was quiet. Breakfast was good and fresh -continental; I would, however, have liked to have had some fruit, or fruit salad, instead of juice. Overall a good stay and I will return. GREAT VALUE.

I was very pleased overall with my stay at Moulin Vert. The staff, overall, was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. Don't look for a lot of space, but I wasn't there to spend tons of time wandering around my hotel room. My only issue was with the shower, mine leaked a fair bit through the nozzle... however it still got the job done so oh well. Good value for the money, close to amenities and close to the Paris metro. Very convenient for getting from the airport to the hotel and back again as well. There were also many affordable bakeries and restaurants close by but skip the breakfast, you can do better getting something from the bakery.

I stayed just for one night but the hotel and the rooms were pretty cleans, a lot of towels in the bathroom...the shower was a little bit small but ok...i even had internet in my room! not very usual in Paris hotels. The employees were very kind with me. The location is great if you want to be near the Montparnasse station (in my case) but i have no idea if there are some touristic places near...but there's a metro Station just a few blocks so you can go everywhere.

Me and my Mum stayed here in September, it was a lovely quaint hotel with a delicious bakery underneath. The hotel is NOT 15 mins walk from the attractions, it is at least 30 mins walk and metro ride from the Eiffel Tower etc. Metro really easy to use, welcome was great, I was spared using my non-existent French as the staff spoke English. The rooms are very small and there was not room for 2 suitcases.

Our double bed room was very clean and provided everything one might wish for. Rue du Moulin Vert is rather charming and well provided with restaurants. Worth trying for travellers in search of a fairly central and quiet location in Paris.
