Hotel Media - Paris

We enjoyed greatly the stay at the hotel. We had a triple room. The location was in a great quiet part of town, and across the street from the metro station that takes you quickly to all the sights. The hotel is about 20 minutes by metro from all the major attractions (the metro is cheap and fairly easy to use). There are many great cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores in the area within short walking distance. There are great plazas, fountains and shopping within a 5 minute walk of the hotel! The hotel is not luxurious but it has everything for a budget tourists The hotel is run by a Russian speaking family. It is very convenient for Russian tourists who will find any needed assistance in their own language.

Reasonable location, easy access to metro and good local restaurants on nearby main road. Price for Paris is fair; hotel is not fancy but comfortable and staff were helpful. Wifi is only in foyer and tended to be intermittent. Breakfast was very basic for 6 euro, but is fresh and convenient.

Very central and quiet location, super value for the value. The staff was very kind and friendly, offering their help with any situation. The rooms seemed to be newly renovated, withe nicely designed walls and furniture, though the renovation of the hall area seemed to be older. I'll definitely be back to this hotel; prices cheaper compared to other hotels in the same area and with the same amenities. There was nespresso machine standing in the hall; the coffee was just great !!!

Best hotel I've been to in Paris! quiet zone, metro and Carrefour supermarket just a few steps awey. Great breakfast, Very kind and helpful personnal.Clean and spacious rooms. WiFI working great, great price for paris.

Nice hotel, very central area, quite surrovndings and kind staff . easy to reach bye metro (1 minute), Air France bus, bus and Touristic bus.

I WAS REALLY SURPRISED TO SEE RATHER DIFFERENT HOTEL THAN I EXPECTED.THE STAFF WAS NICE,THE LOCATION IS PERFECT,VERY CLOSE TO THE METRO.NOT EXECELLANT BUT A VERY GOOD SMALL HOTEL,WITH CLEAN AND BIG ROOMS,ONLY THE FURNITURE IS RATHER OLD.ITS PERFECT TO HAVE SUCH HOTEL FOR THAT MONEY.I AM VERY SATISFIED,I HAD GOOD STAY THERE.THANKS A LOT!

STAY AWAY! Totally creepy area, paper-thin walls, and a staff that barely speaks French, let alone English! I was sick for the two days we stayed in Paris so I was confined to this hell-hole for quite some time. The room was TINY! We booked two beds and there was literally one inch of space between them. I could smell that the neighbors were smoking weed- and dont EVEN get me started on the bathroom! It was impossible taking a shower in there without getting the entire bathroom soaked! STAY AWAY!!!

Very bad hotel. Very dirty. Without hot water for 3 days. Nobody speaks english. Don't go there!!!

I travelled with my parents. The room was quite spacious and clean and quite. Worth budget hote.

The room was dark and interior design was very old. beds and pillows were old & uncomfortable . the young receptionist can not speak english and he is rude.

Good value for money. Some bits could have been better: The rooms were spacious but could be in a better shape and some lights didn't work and had to be fixed. It didn't have breakfast but there were some bistros near.

We, grandma with 14year old twins stayed 5 nights at Média and enjoyed it very much. Only for sleeping we had enough space, and metro, bus and public traveling was nearby as well as some bakeries, restaurants, supermarket and at Place d'Italy a street market, were we could buy fruits and other things very cheap. Easy traveling to all places of interest within short time. We can recommend Hotel Média in regard of low price in relationship to quality and will come back anytime.

I stayed at the hotel with my parents it was quite, the woman at the reception was really nice and tried to help all the time, at the corner from the hotel we went many times to a cafe where the people are really nice and the surroundings were totally safe, i will recommend the hotel and the surrounds

The only thing i could say is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities.however the fridge was very big.so bought a cheap kettle.job done.i would without doubt put this as my best value hotel in paris.in this price range unbeatable.quiet?like the grave.perfect.close to metro(150 mtrs)excellent supermarkets.im desperately trying to find fault but i truly cant.at this price do yourself a favour and book it now.im not drunk whilst writing this.haha.im going back here thats for abolutely certain.

Had to tell whether I should have breakfast or not EACH DAY - bad. One person could speak English - good but too few. The agent (Venere) had wrong instructions for how to get there from Charles De Gaulle - bad. Perfect for someone, that wants to see Paris - low price, quiet - good.

Excellent location in quiet street, just few steps from the metro station. bad bathroom, too wet with mildewed shower curtain, bearable for the short term stay. acceptable value for money. friendly personnel.

Very good value for price - comfortable beds, good bathroom, in a quiet street (with lovely bakery just round the corner) and very close to metro station. If you are a budget traveler planning to spend all days in the city and not in the room, this is all you need for reasonable price.

This was a very nice hotel and was not too expensive. The location was great and being off of the main road made it very quiet.

The hotel is the best, what you can find for this price. It locates in a remarkable place. It's silently and easy in streets, but there are near locate student's cafe and bars, where it is possible to have a rest well. Up to the metro 1 minute on foot. Up to the well-known sights too nearby (it is possible to reach these on foot). The personnel of hotel is nice and helpfull. I advise all this hotel very much.

Good hotel versus the price. Very convenince ubication and good atention from the personnel. is enough if you are going only for sleep and take a shower.

The desk lamp was broken. I asked the reception to wake me, but they didn't. Breakfast was served later than announced. No wifi. Not enough hot water.

I booked the hotel in advance online and therefore the price was quite good and much lower than that you have to pay on arrival without booking. The personel was very friendly, the rooms very clean. Conclusion: pay in advance and you will get a great price-quality relation!

OK place, but would expect a little more for the money paid. Not very close to the Gare D'Austerlitz train station at all. Make sure you take the booking confirmation with you, as they had no record of my booking.

The hotel is not bad, perfect for a cheap weekend. Only one problem: some rooms smells awful (like sintetic or chemical smell)!!

Big problem. Although they advertised that they accepted Credit Cards, they seemed to have problems with their machine. This problem cleared up, however, only after we refused to pay with cash. Still, the hotel was what I expected. Not a 3 star by America standards, but in a great neighborhood. Everything was quite decent for the price. I would go back, though the credit card thing pissed me off.

Es el peor hotel en el que he estado, dice que es de 3 estrellas pero no merece más de una, es un engaño. Al llegar no habían cambiado las sábanas y se molestaron cuando se los pedí, la habitación super sucia, no la limpiaban diariamente y la actitud de los dueños pésima. Al salir nos querían cobrar el lavado de las sábanas que no cambiaron en toda la semana que nos hospedamos ahí. Todo el hotel está sucio y desordenado

The hotel is in a nice area and close to the metro station, but the property needs to be remodeled. When i got to the hotel there was nobody at the front desk. My room in the attic had a mezzanine and the decoration is very poor. Beds are not so comfortable, torn wallpaper and carpets and shower not clean. It didn't have minifridge in the room and internet available, but i found a call center behind a grocery store close to Mac Donalds.

I was on Business, and there was no internet facilities available with a work station, only WIFI access was available. Since i do not travel with my laptop, i could not access the web at the hotel. The room was not very attractive and the TV channels were limited and also te TV itself was a small TV i suppose a 14inch one.

Hotel is loacted near to the attractive Quartier Mouffetard, staff was quite friendly and helpful. Rooms were very simple, reception area not looking attractive. Refurbishment urgently recommended!

Staff were willing and kind but this hotel has big problems. Musty smoke smell in rooms, and mold in bathrooms. No pillowcases even after asking for them. One sheet for the bed. Parking only at my expense and offsite, after pleading with them. Whole hotel needs an overhaul.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was very dissappointing.There was no shuttle available to the airport as advertised. The location is very good for the Metro accessability to most of the tourist sites

Keep your receipts because the hotel staff will try to charge you for things repeatedly even though you either already paid or didn't request a certain service! They tried to charge me twice, they would loose reservations etc. Overall, the hotel staff was incompetent!

Hotel owners very hospitable.it was clean and good

Hotel is situated in a very nice and clean area. Metro station is close at hand and You can actually walk to see some of Paris most famous places. Staff is very friendly and responsive.

I think customer.service@Venere.com have lot to improve on your promptness to respond to customer's queries. I would have appreciated if this email was received on the same day I send my email for clarification(or the next day at least). My booking was for 6th and 7th April. I received a reply from them on 10th April after I had returned from my trip. What good it makes to receive such delayed responce.

Très bon accueil!! personnel très sympathique!!chambre propre mais demandant un "rafraichissement". parking couvert et fermé pour 10 euros par nuit+journée.
