Location is excellent! i stayed here twice. First time i travelled with my sister and got a tiny room and was extreemley noisy, we figured out we were actually above the metro hence the noise was very disturbing. However the location is excellent hence why i returned and its reasonable clean. I needed to stay there with family again with good location so returned and the price is good for the location. Rooms are tiny, don't expect it to be big. good for ppl looking for good location in paris city centre.

The location of the hotel is great. It is priced a bit higher than comparable hotels (considering just the star rating). However if you take location into consideration (just around the corner from the Comedy Fraincais and the Louvre), it becomes reasonable. It is quite close to metro station, so it is easy to get from and to the airport, and of course surf through the city. The street is narrow and quiet, so there was no street noise. Also, there is a great cafe just on the corner of the street, for either a petit dejeuner, or a lunch.

I stayed these hotel for 4 nights at middle of december. I enjoyed the excellent location it's wonderful for a tourist, just 2 minutes to 2 metro station and the Louvre. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but cosy and clean with a big bathroom and the towels were changed every day. The breakfast was great plenty of fresh fruits. All price was correct and free internet was a bonus. I would re-visit!

The hotel is centrally located, very close to the Louvre and Rue de Rivoli. It was clean and the staff was really polite. However, the room I was given, although quiet, it was very tiny with a small bathroom, I could hardly turn my self around in the shower. The bed was too short, I had to sleep diagonally, and the mattress was really hard, I woke up every half hour with aching body to turn my self around (I’m not too tall and my weight is bellow average). Price taken into consideration, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody else, unless the room I was given was an exception to the rule.

Hotel added to the enjoyment of my Paris experience. Because of its central downtown location, I was able to walk to most of the places I had chosen to visit, and used the Batobus water taxi to get to the others. A wide variety of boulengeries, cafes, shops were in the immediate neighborhood. Staff was always helpful, looking up info, making reservations, and always greeting and responding in a friendly manor. My room was comfortable, with adequate storage for my things. I enjoyed coming home after my exploring to rest and recharge. And with the great downtown location, I could take a break if I got tired, and then go back out refreshed and ready to see more sights, or the rest of the collections at the large museums.

Omg.. the location of this hotel is excellent!i would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay very central.I had always got the train back to the airport(CDG)thinking it would be expensive but this time we wanted to take the taxi see how much it would cost and surprisingly it wasn't that bad, only 40-50 euro and there were two of us.i think that is reasobable considering the many times i've been to Paris i took the trains and carrying a big baggage is not fun! However the downside to the hotel is that there was the loudest noise ever from the hotel rooms!we still don't know what it is but guessing it's the underground metro!!!It was so loud that i had to plug my ipod in every night of the stay!!! so be prepared if you are to stay here!bring earplugs!Staff were generally helpful and room are small but one should not expect big rooms in paris. They are all the same for all cities.

Location is great. Walking distance to many attractions. Room was small but adequate for short stay. Hallway is narrow, not much room for a suitcase... but everything relates to price and I was happy enough.

Room is very small but stylish, location is very convenient but the rate is a bit expensive. Breakfast is expensive for 10 euro. I think the front desk personnel should remind client regarding the breakfast rate or the rate should be posted in the breakfast room.

The staff was wonderful, the bathroom looked brand new. However there was construction going on including Saturday making it difficult to sleep in the afternoon. More importantly the beds are too small (smaller than twin) and we tossed and turned all night. The room would be good for one person if the two beds are put together.

Nice small hotel but in a perfect location. It was exactly what we needed in being right in the heart of Paris (2 minute walk to the Louvre and metro). Room was small but comfortable and satisfied all our needs.

The best thing about this hotel was that it was very central, across the street from a METRO entrance, and really clean. The bathroom is also surprisingly spacious. My only complaints about this hotel was that our room's windows faced the other rooms that surrounded the little central garden. This meant that we could hear everything going on in these rooms. To say that the walls were thin is an understatement. We could hear people navigating the super narrow hallways and the couple's bed above us. This place is great if you just want a place to rest your head and have central access to all of Paris. Also, the hotel staff is beyond helpful and friendly. It was always nice to see a smiling face after a long day of walking.

Classic Paris hotel, in the best possible location just off St Honore, and a block from the Louvre. Small rooms and beds, but immaculate. Great continental breakfast. A charming place to stay.

This is the second time my family has stayed at this hotel. We enjoyed the great location and the decor in 2007 which is why we came back again. Sure the hotel rooms and corridors are tiny (the beds too by our standards) but the hotel has character and history and is very typically Parisian. The bathrooms are clean and modern and the rooms nicely decorated. We had great service from the front desk, particularly Octavio who corresponded with us over a few months to try to help us with planning for New Years Eve. In a city as beautiful as Paris you don't spend a lot of time in your room, even if the temperature is below freezing, so who needs a lot of room! There are plenty of good resturants close by. We didnt eat breakfast at the hotel, choosing to get out and buying at local patisseries.

This is a charmer. My room was cozy, and the bath was huge with plenty of hot water. Everything was spotless. Breakfast more than adequate (plenty of real orange juice). Location was fantastic. Staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

This is a wonderful hotel for a tourist, just a few blocks from the Louvre, Metro, Palais du Royale. It could not be more convenient. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions and everybody spoke English on the front desk. Breakfast was excellent and cheaper than most surrounding cafes. An umbrella is even furnished for rainy days. I will definitely return to this hotel and heartily recommend it to anyone. Paris is always pricey, and this gem is reasonable by comparison. Also, that small elevator, narrow hallways and stairs only add atmosphere. If you want a big nondescript chain-style hotel that could exist in any city, you probably are not much of a traveller and should go elsewhere.

The Hotel Louvre Bons Enfants is conveniently located close to the Louvre and other Paris landmarks. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms, while small, met all our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable Parisian hotel.

Apparently not all the streets were on the map I had, and I spent several hours trying to find my way back to the hotel. Even the taxis did not know all the streets, so I guess this is just the way of Paris. I did follow the instructions from the website, but still could not easily find the hotel. At any rate, the hotel was very nice and I enjoyed my stay. Thank you. Rosemary

There was not much natural light, the room was small, the corridor to the room was not lit, the wallpaper on the room's walls was peeled off and there was no breakfast. This is a just to sleep place and spend the rest of the day seeing the attractions around. The hotel is in need of serious renovation. I won't stay there again.

The hotel is indeed very nice and in an excellent position; services offered are good, and rooms are nicely furnished, albeit small. The only issue I had was that my reservation through Venere did not get through, so I was lucky enough to find an empty room. (By the way, the room was cleared under my eyes by a lady complaining about not having been able to sleep; for me, anyway, tremblings from the RER underground were the only noise, and I slept well...)

Fantastic location, being right beside the Louvre Museum, several nice restaurants nearby and metro stop within 100m. Room and bathroom nice and clean. Room quite small compared to hotels in other cities, but similar to others in Paris and more than adequate for the time we spent there.

We stayed for two nights at beginning of August. Small, clean room; matching colors and fabrics showed an effort to make it more sumptuous than necessary. Refurbished bathrooom. Had elevator and working air conditioner. Very quiet. Found it well priced, and location was excellent if you like visiting Palais Royal, La Comedie Francaise and Le Louvre, and take the Metro; all within a couple of blocks from hotel. Night receptionist was polite, and daytime one was even funny (if you spoke French). Lobby had a separate room to keep luggage for a few hours.

Excellent location, very close to le Louvre. Quiet little street, not very far from car parkings. Fairly easy to drive to and from the hotel, for out-of-Paris trips (if one has a VERY good map of Paris) . Very clean room, but also very small. The entire hotel is very small and has a curiously zig-zagging and narrow corridor. If you wish to spend a lot of time in the hotel, in luxurious surroundings, it may not be suited for you. But then, why are you in Paris?...Did not have breakfast at the hotel. Plenty of places to eat around (everywhere, for that matter...). Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is well located but the employees just don't care for non-france people. The room is spaceous the bathroon is nice, the breakfeast is not expensive but don't have much options of food. If it was eather a little bit cheaper or little bit nicer, it would be a very reasonable price/quaality deal.

We really liked it here. The room was much nicer than expected, very pleasant and better than in the photographs. Bathroom was brand new and sparkling clean. Maid changed sheets and towels every day. Staff were fine. Unobtrusive and civil. Superb value for money considering the location. A few steps from the Louvre and the metro! The breakfast room was being renovated so that was the only problem, no breakfast. But it's close to plenty of cafes and shops, and location location location is excellent! Would re-visit.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. It was as central as you could possibly want though was on a side road so there was no noise from passing traffic. The rooms were extremely clean and tidy on arrival, they were also visited everyday of our 3day stay with fresh towels being provided. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for basic and pleasant accommdation in the very heart of the city.

La habitación un espanto, pequeña, en el baño casi no se podia entrar. La habitación empapelada y vieja, le habian puesto un falso techo de plástico y estaba rajado, un horror, se me estropeó el fin de semana pues no me pude cambiar de hotel.

IF YOU ARE IN PARIS FOR A SHORT STAY OR WANT TO SAVE MONEY WITHOUT MUCH CONFORT,THIS HOTEL MAY FIT CONSIDERING IT'S BEHIND THE LOUVRE AND BESIDE THE COMEDIE FRANCAISE. THE BREAKFEAST IS POOR AND ROOMS AS WELL AS CORRIDORS, ELEVATOR ARE VERY SMALL.THE BEDROOM CARPETS SEEM TO BE THERE SINCE THE 70's...dirty and old. IF THEY WOULD INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER, CHANGE THE CARPET AND CLEANESS,I WOULD INDICATE THIS HOLTEL AS A CHEAP OPTION. E E BARBOSA - BRAZIL

A clean comfortable place to stay without breaking the bank. For those who intend to spend more time visiting Paris than the hotel room, the fact the rooms are small will be of no inconvenience whatsoever. Very good location. If you intend visiting the Louvre then buy your tickets on line in advance and avoid queuing when you get there.

The hotel was ample for the price and the location. Nothing great, nothing fancy, but a decent place to sleep and keep our luggage. The room was barely bigger than the bed, but that's what you should expect for the price in that area. The location was excellent. A block from the Louvre and a couple major Metro lines. Walking distance to most Parisian sights. Just don't expect luxury and it'll be fine.

I really had a wonderful stay at Hotel Louvre Bons Enfants. It is nicely tucked into a corner immediately behind the Louvre. So, really you are in the middle of everything in a hotel with friendly staff and rooms suitable to the economic traveller. If breakfast would be included, then I would say it is a perfect hideaway while you are in Paris!
