Hotel Londres et New York was recommended to me by a friend, and the hotel turned out to be just right. It's in a great location - we walked to the Champs Elysees, l'Opera, Galeries Lafayette and to numerous little cafes and shops. It's conveniently located near a Metro, so hopping on the Metro to go wherever you want was perfect. The hotel staff is very accommodating and knowlegeable. I was travelling with my sisters, and we were all very pleased with the hotel, the rooms, the staff, the location and the price. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. We stayed 4 persons in 1 room. It was a little bit small room, but it was OK.

Stayed for 2 nights in Paris in a quadruple room which was actually 2 adjoining bedrooms. We were traveling with 4 adults and a baby. They provided a baby cot as requested but the rooms were quite small, as most hotel rooms in Europe are. We requested a double bed in one of the rooms but they provided instead 2 single beds pushed together. In the other room, the beds were actually a sofa which was too high so you were in constant danger of falling off, and the other one was a cot. Okay for children but not comfortable for adults. They did accommodate our request for an early check in since our flight arrived early morning in Paris. Bathroom was quite clean, we didn't try the breakfast because it was too expensive. Location was good, the shuttle bus from CDG airport stops right in front of the hotel and there is a metro stop also in front of the hotel, the Opera Garnier was 2 blocks away, about 5 min walk. There are probably hotels located in better locations and far less expensive but despite my comments, our stay was overall okay. I would stay there again if I could not find a better hotel.

Nettes Hotel für ein Wochenendetrip nach Paris. Gute Anbindung an die Metro. Direkt im Zentrum mit ein paar nette Restaurants in der Nähe.

I booked a quadruple room for 3 nights. From the website photographs, it was to be 2 small adjoining rooms. On the first nite, I was brought to a room with 4 beds (2 normal beds and 2 make-shift beds) all arranged in the room such that the entire room was 70-80% occupied by the beds. Moving around the room was impossible with all our 4 big luggages on the floor. When I approached the staff in the night, I was told that he appreciated my problem and told me to tell the staff in the morning as the rooms were all full. When I approached the staff in the morning, I was told that I was indeed in a quadruple room. I couldn't believe it. The room was really a triple room with another makeshift bed fit in. As I walked away, he told me that he could however upgrade me to a "junior suite" for free if I wasn't happy still. They brought me to another room where there were 2 adjoining rooms with 2 beds in each room. This was the quadruple room that was shown on the photographs in the website... it wasn't a "junior suite" as claimed. The rest of the stay was uneventful. I am still unhappy that the staff wasn't honest enough to let me know that there wasn't a quadruple room available when I first checked in.

This was my first visit to Paris, traveling with my sister. Our room overlooked a very busy intersection, very interesting view of driving in Paris, amazing it all works! Room was quiet, beds comfortable, clean bathroom. Great location for the Metro and shopping.

Staff was extremely nice. After we got home a problem with our billing was taken care of right away. Our room was quite quiet, considering it was over a large & busy intersection. Would stay here again.

We have booked one double room for us and one triple room for our colleagues. We didn't try the breakfast because we have read the review regarding this (the cost is 15 euro)and near the hotel we have find a nice Braseria where you can eat with less money. The location is very nice and the surroundings as well.In front of the hotel is the Metro (Underground)and the distance from all the stores is 2 minutes walk.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay and found the hotel to be very clean & quite central. However,we did think it was a bit expensive considering the lack of facilities and the price of the breakfast was expensive for what it was, so we declined that!!

Fermata metrò Saint LAZARE davanti all'entrata dell'hotel.

The hotel is only rated 3-star but is better than other 3-star hotels i've stayed in. the lift was a bit cramped but the room was sure spacious! also the room deco made it feel a bit homely not as other modern hotel room usually are. and the location was great! Close to shopping, close to trasportaion and close to tourist attractions!

General Comments: I was very happy with our stay at Londres! I booked several hotels because our plans changed and we couldn't book the full week there. I was most pleased with Londres of all the places we stayed. The staff speaks a variety of languages and yet were kind enough to stick with me as I practiced my french. The Rooms: Both of our rooms were quite large by european standards, had mini-bars and hair dryers and the bathrooms were modern and clean. More importantly, when we asked that our two twin "double" be changed to a single bed, one of the housekeeping staff (Marie)offered to do it right away because she learned it was our wedding anniversary. It was above and beyond the call of duty and greatly appreciated! Also, the rooms were a comfortable temperature. They didn't cheap out on the heat...the last time I was in Paris I was at the Hotel Meurice... very upscale...and was uncomfortably cool for the entire stay. Service: In addition to changing the bed's configuration, the staff (Alexus ...sorry if the spelling is wrong) quickly accommodated us when the "Greve" struck ... means strike. We couldn't get to Strasbourg and our next hotel. The staff was able to accommodate us for two more nights at the end of our stay. The second room, a double superior, was better than the first. We had another hotel for the final night, but chose to remain at Londres because we were so comforable there. Location: The train station and Metro are literally right outside the door. It's not on the Tuilleries or by the Siene, but I thought the location was great. Pricing: All of Paris was pricier than I wanted it to be, in part because its a major world city and because the dollar is weak, but compared to similarly priced accommodations, this was worth the money. If the dollar could match the Euro, it would be bargain. Have a great trip no matter where you stay!We did.

This was the worst part of our Paris vacation. By the reviews we were looking forward to staying at the Londres Hotel, but our reception by the front desk clerk upon arrival was definitely negative. He was very rude to us...not only one person, but everyone that sat at the front desk was horribly rude. I would not advise staying at this hotel - too expensive for the dump it is. The top bed linens were filthy and overall a very unpleasant stay.

We found the location good, within walking distance of some attractions. The hotel Londres et New York provided us with a comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay there again. As the Hotel does not have a restaurant, we made use of the lower budget nearby eateries and also had an excellent meal at the Cafe Terminus, which is just over the road to the Hotel. We also found the books of tickets for travelling on the metro were a very good investment.

The hotel is a great bargain in an excellent location, close to multiple metro lines, RER, Opera, Pl de la Concorde, Madeleine, Champs Elysee, and shopping on Hausmann and St. Honore. Our family of 3 had a triple room, which was excellent. Breakfast is overpriced, but numerous bakeries are found within 2 blocks, as is a MonoPrix. This is an excellent 3 star.

This is the second stay at this hotel and it has been completely remodeled since the last time. We had a room on the 6th floor which was a nice size for Paris with a very large bathroom. The hotel is right across the street from Gare St. Lazarre and the metro is right out the front door. It is convenient to all the major sights and shopping and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great mid-range priced property.

My daughter and I were visiting Paris for the first time and as I read the reviews I was afraid that the rooms would be small. I finally booked at "Londres et New York" in Saint Lazare, Initially for 2 nights then extended it to 4 nights. To my surprise the room we received was large with a balcony, it contained a queensize bed, and single (large single) bed, desk, 2 comfortable chair, coffee table, TV and a mini fridge, more surprisingly was the Bathroom size which was excellent with a mounted shower, bathtub. We were also happy to communicate efficiently with the staff as they spoke English quiet well. the Staff were extremely helpful. The location was fantastic, the Metro entrance on the footpath in front of the Hotel, the buses 1 minutes walk and the train station across the square. McDonalds around the corner and a lot of choices in restuarants. We were minutes away by metro from most of the major attractions. Our negative points would be the size of the lifts very small! I think most hotels are the same in Paris and I didn't like travelling around in the metro, but we were lucky we had a choice of public transport. I would specially like to thank Olivier (who was in charge of the desk), Stepan and Karim, (sorry if I spelt your names wrong). they made our stay pleasant. Next time I'm in Paris, I would certainly like to stay at "Londres et New York"...........Thanks again from Rita and Arda, Sydney, Australia.

The hotel is well located, but my room was quite anonymous. Maybe because I have asked for a room on the back to be off street. I got a very quite room, but rather small and poorly furnished.

This is a great hotel which is very central. Friendly staff and very spacious rooms. Metro station is literally outside the door and train station is just around the corner. Looking forward to my return to romantic Paris and certainly staying in this hotel.

This hotel is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. It is clean and the room was more spacious than we expected for Paris. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet even though it faced busy Paris streets. We did not eat at the offered breakfast which was high-priced; there were many nice cafes around the area. We would return for another stay here.

Very pleasant stay in a very pleasant hotel. Room was a good size and we had a balcony. The ensuite was good with a bath and shower. This hotel is situated in a very central position. It is just ten minutes walk from Place de la Concorde and five minutes from the Opera. The best shopping is just around the corner in Hausemann Boulevard. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay in it again.

4 Adults stayed in the Quad Room - two bed rooms where 4 single/twin beds were provided as expected. The only downside was having to share one room key among the four of us. As a hotel courtesy, the key was left at the front desk when anyone of us left the building. I recommend the hotel to upgrade its key system; an upgraded system will provide better security and convenience.

Great access to Metro (right outside front entrance). We had a quad for our family (2 teenagers) which was a nice size overall. Bathroom a bit small but normal for Europe. Friendly service - front desk managers spoke very good English. Only negative was the overpriced breakfast buffet (15 Euros for a continental spread). Go outside the hotel for much better selection and price.

Some hotel rooms are renovated others are not. You may want to request a renovated room. We had a quad room, which was 4 single beds. It was great for our family of four. Breakfast is fair. You may want to visit a local bakery instead. Parking is in a public parking garge.

My wife and I stayed over the Christmas period and found the property to be in an excellent loaction (train right outside)and in easy walking distance of Opera district, shopping and restaurants. The staff are hlpfull and speak good English. The room was a superior and whilst not huge was bigger than most others in Paris. It had 2 balconies. The one issue, which we found pretty much the same throughout Europe, is no tea and coffe making facilities in the room. There is no bar or restaurant but it does have a small breakfast area on the 1st Floor. Overall, we woul recommend this property and would stay again.

Good hotel, with a good family room (effectively 2 rooms with an interconnecting door, which was on the wuiet side of the hotel. I guess the rooms on the front side of the hotel are noisy.

We really enjoyed the Hotel Londres. Location is great, rooms are very clean and roomy. Best of all, the room A/C worked very well and the rooms are EXCEPTIONALLY QUIET. We will definitely try to stay at this hotel again if our travels take us back to Paris.
