very good location. It is convenience for backpacker
Indonesia, Apr 2009
The hotel location really near the metro station gare du l'est (exit number 8 from metro line4/5). The elevator too small only fit one person with one baggage, fortunately our room located on the 1st floor so we can use the stairs instead. The room quite small but clean enough. The staff quite helpfull though not speak english fluently. Definitely will return on my next visit.

The staff was really rude to us when we were there! They didn't tell us there was a charge for breakfast and she tried to charge me twice for our room! The lady was a wench!!!!

Convenient to Gare de L'Est. Hotel has double windows, so street noise does not get into room. Stayed only one night because I was leaving early from the Gare de L'Est, and this hotel met my needs very well.

We visited by Eurostar as a party of 6 adults and 3 children and had two family rooms. My parents don't like walking, and this hotel was a great choice. The location is great for sightseeing (the L'Open Tour passes right outside, but you can also catch bus 32 right outside the hotel to L'Opera and link on to the Red Bus Tours etc.). Food is no problem with cafes, patisserie, restaurants (burger, kebab) and a supermarket all very close by. We did not have the hotel breakfast and bought fresh croissant from the bakery opposite the McD's. The hotel is right opposite Gare de L'Est (and less than 5 mins walk to Gare du Nord). The rooms are fairly spacious and bedding etc is clean (although a little worn out) with good bathrooms. It is 2 star type, but clean, friendly and has a lift. Very good value for money.

Good value budget hotel. We reserved a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. When we arrived they actually gave us two separate double rooms, each with their own shower room, and with an interconnecting door. This was great for us as our sons (age 4 and 7) shared a double bed and were delighted to have their own space, and after they had gone to bed we closed the interconnecting door and could have some privacy! But for a family with very young children it might not be suitable. Location is very convenient for Metro system. View from windows was of the Gare de L'Est just across the busy road - it's an attractive station and it's quite interesting watching all the bustling activity on the streets below. Double glazing did a good job of blocking maybe 90% of street noise, so we had no trouble sleeping. Overall I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel for the price. We went out for breakfast each day, so can't comment on that.

Single female traveller - Some staff not so willing but I guess the service level corresoponds to pricing!! Close to station which was helpful, room noisy with only 1 working light! Breakfast was not included and not really worth the E 6 - Was happy to be only staying for one night, a hostel may be a better option.

Good hotel. Great location! I would go back. Don't forget (like I did) that the breakfeast is NOT included. The one at the hotel is ok... We were 3 in a room and one of the beds were not confortable (it was not really a bed). One day they left all the hair (2 womem in a room!) in a corner of the toilet (argh!). Elevator and room really small but ok for the 3 of us. Really big people won't fit. anyway, we had a good time.

We got room 38 on last floor. The lift is very small, barely two normal people get inside. The room was small as usual, but very clean, overlooking the busy Rue Strassbourg. No noticeable cigarette smell. “Finger dust test” passed with honors. Under the bed we found an empty soda bottle, must have been there for weeks. The room had a flatscreen TV on the top of the wardrobe, with 10 channels, CNN, Eurosport, ESPN included. The remote control worked as well! No change of batteries required or moving closer. Free wi-fi internet access, they had also a computer at the lobby for passengers. The room had a desk with 2 chairs, and a suitable wardrobe. Almost no space left for moving around if you have more than one piece of luggage per person. The bed was kind of small yet comfortable. Rooms facing the backyard very somber. Don’t take them. The bathroom was small and clean. It looked new. The bath towels were a little bit bigger than a hand towel. The shower was big enough to not flood the floor, the water pressure and temperature were OK, although we had to use cold water one day since some renovation was going on. Biggest advantage : location. 20 steps away is the entrance to the Metro (Gare de l’Est) and train station across the street. 10 minutes walking distance from Gare du Nord. Around the corner is a supermarket. We did not have breakfast (6 Euro) at the hotel, so that place was our choice for sandwiches and water. Sreet was very noisy, but the isolation in the windows was excellent. Isolation fails on doors and walls. While being on the last floor on one corner, we only noticed the “activities” of the next room, but every day at night the cigarette smoke of all the floors below flooded our room. I would recommend this hotel only as a place to sleep if you need to be close to the train stations. The place is too noisy and rooms too small for a daytime stay. Don’t expect a fancy place. Certainly not suited for a romantic getaway.

First time in Little Regina, overally the stay was very pleasant, the personnel very nice and friendly, the room and bathroom - nice, clean and tidy. The only shortcoming was that the beds were not convenient at all. The hotel is in front of Gare de l'Est, metro station is 10 meters from the entrance. I have stayed in many 2star hotels in Paris, and this one is one of the best for the price.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. Therefore there is noise early in the mornings. Our room was miniscule. We could barely move between the beds. There was no air conditioning which made it nearly impossible to be in the room in the afternoon. The noise and the heat was beyond toleration. The staff was adequate. I was asked twice when checking out why I had the key given me when I arrived. Apparently I had been given a key that was only for the staff. The surroundings are not suitable for a family. There were drunks, prostitutes and panhandlers all around especially in the evening. We stayed in at night because we had children with us. I would never consider staying at this hotel again, not even if I were traveling alone.

We stayed at the top floor of the hotel and the roof was being fixed at the time. Therefore we were woken up early every morning and didn´t get as much sleep as we would have liked. The hotel staff did not apologize or mention this at all, and I found that very unprofessional. Apart from that we thougt the hotel was very nice for that price. Thank you.

Adjunto unas fotos.

There is no picture of the outside of the hotel on the website, and for good reason, it is very uninviting. It is situated right next to a bus terminus and a Metro entrance, and is squeezed between 2 restaurants. The interior is very shabby, the wallcoverings and carpets are way passed their replacement date. There was debris in the lift well which was not removed during the whole of our stay.

it was the weekend and there was no internet as the router broke, we had to wait monday so they could repair it.. anyways they offered to use the computer on the reception.. the room was really small but nice and very clean. the personnel was amazing, very kind and helpful. great breakfast but very small tables and chairs.. (most of the buget hotels in paris are like this) the great thing is that the metro station is right in front of the hotel :)

The bathroom of the room I stayed in was newly renovated and the room was cleaned properly daily. Take care to make use of the provided telephone in the room as the cost thereof was exorbitant. The room was extremely noisy - the plumbing was noisy, the conversations of other guests were noisy and the traffic outside the room was extremely irritating (there is a bus terminal right in front of the hotel). In general the staff was however accomodating and kind. However, I reported a non-functioning room light after my first night in the hotel and it was still not fixed when I checked out three days later. The week before I stayed at a different place which included meals and which was considerably more habitable than Little Regina for pretty much the same price I paid at Little Regina. For someone unfamiliar with Paris, I do not think the hotel is situated in one of the nicest districts. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel taking into account the cost of the room.

"characteristic" hotel for Paris: not necessarily very new (on display in the room: ordonannce of the Paris Tourism Board from 1942), narrow spaces. Price absolutey okay, very conveniently located just in front of Paris Est train station (100m distance). Employees friendly - not bad for Paris (the orange juice spilled on my trousers by the breakfast waiter apart ...)

We were a party of five women, aged 24 to 75, who stayed at Hotel Little Regina, Paris, for about one week. We felt a very friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived - the staff was very helpful and welcoming!!! We had two rooms, one faceing the back"yard", which was pretty quiet, and one faceing the front - with nice views to the hustle and bustle of citylife - noicy of course! But thats what you have to expect opposite a railwaystation! Easy access to the Metro and short distance to most places:-) All in all a pleasent stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Little Regina. It is a good small Paris hotel of its class. Some small things are not perfect (pay 4 times as much if you aim for perfection) but all the important things worked well and when we had a problem with the bedside lights they were fixed quickly and competently. The manager was friendly and informative (see the hotel's own website for good advice for visitors to Paris) and all the staff we encountered spoke good English. There is at least one excellent restaurant just across the road, and many bistros nearby. We walked each day to the tourist centres and enjoyed the walks as an atmospheric part of our holiday. The Gare du Nord is about 15 minutes away with a case on wheels, quicker without. Gare d'Est is opposite. Street outside is noisy but the double glazing shuts out the noise perfectly. Our room had air conditioning fitted, but we didn't need to use it as the weather wasn't hot. The hotel does offers for multi-day stays, and was fully-booked each day we were there. We will definitely go again.

I have been to Paris many times and try out a new hotel each time. I was on the sixth floor, so I could open my window to get a breeze. Not a great room, but clean and had a good TV. The best part was the location. The Gare de l'Est metro station is right out the front door.

Great position outside Gare de l'Est and next to the Metro entrance. 500 M walk from Gard du Nord. We were aware, as we had stayed before, that the areas around the stations are like all these areas in all big cities - not the most salubrious but this one was fine. We enjoyed the stay.

This was a really basic hotel. Bed with no breakfast, basically. Breakfast is €6.00 but for €5.00 you can go literally around the corner and have Breakfast at McDonalds where it is bigger and better. The room, while (mostly) clean was fairly small. No Tea/Coffee facilities in room, no hotel welcome note in room or the usual notes/instructions about the hotel that you would usually find in a hotel room. Bathroom small but clean. Towels provided fresh everyday, some of which were stained. In my humble opinion, slightly over-priced for quality BUT the bonus is it is warm, quiet( had a room over-looking main road) and there is one member of staff ( young fella) who bends over backwards to help and is extremely helpful and efficient. Would recommend only to those who want soley somewhere to sleep. On day of check-out, although no check-out time was given on arrival nor ( as mentioned) were there any instructions/info. in the room, the lady on reception called at 11:30 to let us know what the time was and to make sure we were getting ready to leave - this after already asking us once that morning if we were leaving that day!!

This hotel is excellent value for money with reasonably spacious rooms by Parisian standards. Bed was very comfortable and room at back of hotel was very quiet. A couple of friendly bar/brasseries next door for watching the 'world go by'. Didn't try breakfast at Hotel as we much prefer to eat at Brasseries. Metro is only a minute or so away, so excellent location for getting around. The only downside is a sex shop very close to the hotel, but don't let this put you off - there is nothing on display in the window and the area is not sleazy. We sat outside at one or other of the Brasseries every night and to be honest you wouldn't even realise it was there. Highly recommended.

I rode the train in from Strasbourg and was surprised to find the little hotel so conveniently located to the train station,le Gare de l'Este. I was greeted very warmly by very friendly desk attendants. The hotel is very small but rather cozy. There are only three rooms to a floor. My room was very small, but comfortable, and it was relatively quiet. The hotel seems to be quite old. The carpet was pretty worn. It's due for an update. The shower is very small, the handles on faucet control were in the way, such that as I turned in the shower, I would accidentally bump the lever with my elbow and practically scald myself. Other than that I was happy with the room. The Gentleman who worked at the desk in the evening was most courteous and friendly. I also saved 10 euros per night for having booked through Venere.com There are also some very good restaurants nearby. One night some magnificent Moules et Frites, another night exquisite Cous-Cous, served in the traditional style.

The nicest and newest bathrooms i've been in - that was definitely worth it. Unfriendly staff - they definitely don't like American tourists.
