The receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is a selling point! We have booked for twin bed but there wasn't any twin bed for us so we have to share the small size double bed...luckily we are not really big in size and are able to fit in the bed. The lift is super duper mini. Overall the hotel is great with helpful staff and great location!

This is not a luxury hotel, but surprisingly large rooms (for Paris) comfortably apportioned in a location that met my needs perfectly. The helpful reception staff were highly responsive to my needs (early check-in, luggage storage, etc.). Overall, an excellent value for money that I'd recommend without hesitation.

This hotel is fantastic, It´s beautiful, new and clear. It´s near Gare du Nord (3 min) and you can take the subway easily and go to see all the city. The hotel is in a main street where there were a super, a lot of restaurants and some shops.

This hotel was beautiful, clean and spacious (by Parisian standards). They even have an American outlet for razors in the bathroom! The bathroom and shower are both very spacious and clean. The Gare du Nord area is not the best in Paris, however it is quite accessible by train and metra.

Two complaints-room service ignored the do not disturb sign and entered the room. They apparently checked us out when we went off to Church in the morning. We came back to discover we had been locked out of the room. Neither turned out to have serious consequences but was annoyingly unprofessional. Otherwise the hotel room was fine for the price and the location was excellent.

The hotel is close to Gare de Nord, and the website gave a very acurate idea of the room I had. It was clean and tidy and even though my room faced the Av Magenta it was quiet. I arrived slghtly before check in after a 24hr flight and the staff were happy to find a room that was ready which I greatly appreciated. If you want something close to Gare de Nord this is a good choice.

The Hotel Libertel Gare du Nord - Suede is ideally situated for the station and centre of Paris. This was our third visit to the hotel and it was even more comfortable than previously as it has since been refurbished. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Our double room was a very reasonable size, spotlessly clean and the bathroom had plenty of shelf space. Apart from the loud banking of the doors, the room was very quiet. The Continental breakfast was excellent with delicious croissants. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location close to Gare du Nord. Welcoming reception with friendly efficient staff. Rooms clean and well decorated although quite small. Ideal location for exploring Paris and good restaurants close to hotel after a days site seeing. Would stay there again.

Very convenient location if you travel on Eurostar and stay for a short time. Room small, but well organized. No shower curtain - water was everywhere. Confusion about free WI-FI - one CAN actually get free unsecured internet. Close to the metro and tour bus stop. Area is so-so, but not scary, lot of people around at night. I'm female in my 50s, traveled alone, stayed one night. Hotel is good for a short stay and if you don't bring much stuff. Got good price through Venere.

All I can say is that we had an excellent time in Paris! I loved the location of the hotel. Everyone was very friendly , our beds were comfortable and had plenty of hot water. You could tell the hotel had been updated , everything felt new and clean. The rooms were small as was the bathrooms, but it did not bother us, as it was the nicest place I have stayed at in Paris and it was also great value. I want to thank everyone at Hotel Libertel-Gare du Nord- Suede for a wonderful week. Also make sure and try out the cafes and resterants around the hotel , the food and prices were great!!!!

A very compact within budget room but enough for anybody to enjoy a good stay in Paris.Good location-stations nearby, supermarket Leader Price just across the road, cafes etc. English-spoken staff really helpful to ease our moving-around. Thanks for all the assistance. Might stay in future,if we return.

Perfect location for tourists. Main train and metro station (Gare du Nord) @ short walk distance. RER takes you at Les Halles in 1 stop. Suggest 3 days ticket which allows you to run metro and busses h24. Many brasseries around the corner for breakfast and unexpensive meals. Rooms are small (comfort rooms) but well equipped and always clean. Perfect if you are on business or short touristic vacation. Tourist infos at the desk are available. Baggage safe is also available. We liked it!

This is definitely not the best hotel I've stayed in, but service is fair compared to price. Good deal for students travelling, or as a rescue for business travellers (bedroom is just fair, and bathroom is clean).

Typical near-station hotel. The room was very small, even for European standards. Breakfast (additional 8 euros)was basic, but adequate. Budget choice if you need good connections by railway or metro

All kind of it. Principally Tourists that they want to know Paris as a very nice and historically important city. For individual and easy Tourists it´was good. The breakfast was much better than for much years ago!(my last visit to Paris was for 30 years ago). My reason why we came to Paris? It was a present of mine to my husband for our Marriage Aniversary (28 years!), I wanted to give him a very special present!. It was a very nice Weekend what we have had, and not the last one!! In Paris you need much time to see all things right. I was also very nice sorprised, that I could speak english. My french language was not so good as years before, so when I didn´t knew how to say it in french, I try it in english and it was also accepted and spoke it by french people!. That was only possible in big and important hotels for many years ago, but not in locals (Restaurants ,Middle Class Hotels and Bars). They are not all, but quite much more than before. We have had a wonderfull Weekend and as you surely know: "Paris ce la Ville de´l Amour"!!
