The Staff is very welcoming Erwin, Marco and the rest of the staff as well. Very professional and helpful. It was my first time and is my favorite hotel in St. Germain area.

My only comment is that I would have liked a room with more storage space for clothes. Having only one closet and no other furniture to store any pants, sweaters, etc... was a little disappointing. Overall the hotel was very pleasant and a very good for the price and quality.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful part of Paris only 2 mins from the Luxemboourg Gardens. Contemporary decor and bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable with courteous, helpful staff. Although not cheap (at 155 Euros per night), it is worth the extra, as hotels of this quality and style in Paris are few and far between. Many good restaurants in area and especially around St. Sulpice (10 mins walk). Sightseeing: RER/Metro within 5 mins (direct link to Charles de Gaulle); Notre Dame and Musee d'Orsay within 30 mins walk. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. One suggestion - a fresh bottle of water in the room each day and not just on day 1.

hotel centrale nel quartiere della Sorbonne. Camere poco spaziose, ma tranquille, soprattutto ai piani più alti e con finestre su corte interna.

We loved this hotel. The location could not be better, near metro and RER, great restaurants and bars, near Notre Dam and the latin quarter. The staff was very nice and had great recommendations, they also spoke English and Spanish. The only sad thing is that the terrace you see that oversees the city is only in the most expensive rooms. I had the impression it was a public area on the roof but it's not. This hotel is truly great, roomy and has nice decor, modern and cool. I will stay there next time I travel to Paris!

Fantastic Location, take the RER from CDG Airport to Luxembourg Stop and the Hotel is a very short walk, keep the gardens on your left at the end junction cross over to your right .The Bar AU PETIT SUISSE is on the corner, highly recommended and the Restaurant La Ferrandaise was a delightful experience. Very helpful staff at reception of La Senat looking forward to returning

The triple room we had at the hotel we were told was the largest triple, was uncomfortably small even by european standards. The foldout bed blocked the door to the toilet so it could only be half-opened; we had to stack some of the furniture to fit our 3 pieces of luggage on the floor for access. Only 1 person could walk around the room at a time. It was not pleasant. This for a room at $300 US/night without breakfast. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone. But it was Christmas and no other rooms were available anywhere. The matressess on both beds were atrocious-we had to purchase NSAIDs for our aching backs-by morning my husband could not stand. Otherwise the hotel and staff are quite nice. Venue is clean and stylish. Location has walking access to most tourist sites and several metro stops.

Charming hotel conveniently located. Our room was upgraded on arrival and we had great views over Paris from rooftop balcony. Desk staff spoke v.good English and were keen to help. Nice Cafes close by for breakfast sitting out. Highly recommended.

I got an upgrade (by some luck) and had one of the top floor duplex suite rooms, which was a great surprise.

The hotel was great. The price is on the higher side for the size of room but the majority of rooms in Paris are small. The room was very contemporary and we were upgraded to a superior room on arrival, without asking. The hotel is an ideal central location for all attractions and metro, and the SanGermain area is great for restaurants and bars. There was quite a bit of traffic noise early evening and either the bins were emptied every day or teh streets were cleaned - but worth it a little noise and clean streets!

This hotel is great. The location is very good, we walked everywhere, but it's also close to the RER and Metro if you wish to use public transport. The staffs are very helpful and we are likely to stay in the same hotel next time we go to Paris. Overall a good deal, and I can’t do anything other than recommend this hotel.

Le Senat is a lovely Paris hotel in a great location. Right off the Boulevard San Michel and in the midst of the Latin Quarter. You can walk to many places; taxis are easy to find and the metro is nearby. The staff was very helpful with making dinner reservations and getting our taxi to airport. The breakfast for 15 euros had everything you could want, but if you are not a big breakfast person you could eat for less elsewhere. The room of course was small but it was kept very clean. I thought we were getting a junior suite but it was a triple and it was very tight with my husband and son in the same room. The sofa bed could not be entirely closed which resulted in even less room. But the location cannot be beat--a block from the Luxembourg Gardens and two blocks from the Panthenon, plus all the shopping you could want on the Rue de Rennes and Boulevard St. Germain, and restaurants galore.

Front desk staff was very friendly and graciously accommodated our inability to speak French. The property is hip, well taken care of / newly redecorated, and in a great area. I highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at Le Senat. Our only complaint was that the room was very small. Literally, just enough room to walk around the bed. However, the staff was wonderful, very helpful, friendly and spoke English fluently. The housekeeping staff keeps the property immaculately cleaned. The location is fantastic - everything is in walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay. Very nice beautifully finished rooms and pleasant professional staff. It would be nice if breakfast could be included in the room rate, rather than a separate charge. But we would happily stay again.

We were delighted with the quality of the hotel. When we arrived we were immediately upgraded by the hotel reception. The room and ensuite were excellent. The location is wonderful, very close to excellent cafes and restraurants and within walking distance of many of the museums etc that we wished to visit. One thing we did miss was tea and coffee making facilities. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We really liked Le Senat: it's stylish, very well located (the Luxembourg RER stop is minutes from Gare du Nord). We didn;t eat breakfast in the hotel; there was a veyr nice cafe just a few doors down where cafe creme and a nice fresh croissant could be had for 5 Euros. But the room was very clean (albeit small) and confortable, though the walls are not the thickest in Europe.

A beautiful and stylish hotel in a great position - very helpful staff. Room small but exquisite - could have done with a full length mirror.

We really loved this hotel. We received a beautiful 5th floor room with a balcony that had a wonderful view of the street outside. The room was compact, but beautifully decorated and nicely outfitted (flatscreen TV, marble bathroom, etc.). The staff were very friendly - they served room service meals outside of normal serving hours and helped us with al of our questions about the surrounding area. We plan to stay here again as soon as we have another opportunity.

We had a great time and were very comfortable at Le Senat. Our handicapped accessible room was very spacious and the staff was so accomodating. We also had another room with three people that was a bit smaller but over all it was okay. The only thing I would recommend is that they get more mirrors.

We were so pleased with our stay at Le Senat ! The staff were courteous and helpful ( especially Laure and Morgane ). The room was small, and could have used some coat and robe hooks to off set the small closet...but it was well appointed , and the location of the hotel is fantastic -so we were not in the hotel room a lot.... The pricing for this room was a great value , especially at the holiday time, which allowed us to splurge on the wonderful French cuisine of Paris. We were so pleased that we had selected the Le Senat over other hotels in the area, especially when we actually saw and walked by the other hotels...which looked tired and worn and a little too much like someplace Grandma would stay....I have taken several brochures with me and could not recommend Le Senat highly enough for any stay in Paris !
