Lovely hotel. Met all our expectations. Accommodated us for an extra night. Very pleasant room. Hotel was very quiet but some street noise despite the hotel being on a side street.

Nice hotel in a great location in the Montmarte area, very close the Moulin Rouge and the restaurant where parts of Amelie was filmed. Close to stations and very convenient to get to by Metro. We enjoyed the location, the eateries near by and feel in general. Great location to stay in when visiting Paris.

Hotel Le Relais Montmartre was perfect for us (excluding the size of the small room, which was expected). The place was clean and in a great location to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, and the front desk staff EXTREMELEY nice and helpful! We did not eat breakfast there as there were many bakeries nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice Location in the heart of Montmatre, near the most interesting streets and the best locations, but also quiet. We booked the superior-rooms, wich were quiet nice, but small - as it is in an old building like this.

A wonderful hotel in an excellent location. We only managed to see a fraction of the sites we wanted to visit in Paris so we will be going back and we will stay at the Relais Montemarte again without hesitation.

The hotel was better than we expected. The location was quiet, but minutes walk to lively bars and the metro. A receptionist recommended a restuarant which we went to three times. Overall an excellent stay, can't wait to return and stay at the same hotel.

Small hotel with small rooms, but that's probably quite common if you want to live in Montmartre. This area is a good location with short distance to Sacre-Coeur, Moulin Rouge and a lot of small restaurants. The rest of the city is easy accessible by metro. Friendly staff and good service. Newly redecorated rooms and bathrooms, which are nice and clean.

great location, charming hotel. It's a little pricey compared to other budget hotels but the location and decor make it forgiveable. Not recommended for budget-conscious lone travellers as there is no single rooms - you will have to pay for a double.

We were on our honeymoon and Vincent was at the front desk and greeted us. He was knowledgeable and friendly..especially since the elevator (lift) wasn't working when we arrived. Always had a smile and was helpful! Rooms are a bit small and the courtyard wasn't really useable but the location, cleanliness and help were all great..thanks!

My 15-year old son and I stayed here. I loved it and would stay again. It was right in the heart of Montmartre and we enjoyed this part of Paris. Victor, at the front desk was extremely helpful, both for the hotel facilites and for suggestions around Montmartre. The rooms are a little small, but very elegant.

Excellent value for the money! The rooms are charming, clean and the hotel staff is very friendly. Air conditioning in the rooms works great. Bathrooms are spacious and water pressure is excellent. As other reviews stated, skip the breakfast at the hotel because there are many great coffee/bakery places in the area.

A truly wonderful, romantic little hotel. Both of our visits were met by such a friendly, helpful welcome, and rooms (all individual) that could be something from a rustic cottage in a home decoration magazine. Add this to the great location in the heart of Montmartre and you have my favourite hotel in Paris. One of our rooms was small, the other large (so best ask for a bigger room if available), but both were so cute. It is also very close to the Metro and next to a street full of cafe's, all the charm of Amelie and the Moulin Rouge. If you want a small, quaint, romantic, quality hotel in Montmartre, this is perfect.

A recommander

The hotel surroundings are perfect. The metro is near, Rue Lepic is wonderful. The hotel in my opinion is too expensive for what they offer. The rooms are clean, very small though. I really had a good time, I mean it is Paris after all... Everything would be ok if the staff were a bit nicer. There was actually just one member of the staff (the bold one) that was really annoying and unpleasant. Next time I go to Paris I will choose a hotel near this one because the location as I said is perfect.

Beautiful hotel, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Booked a superior room and can't believe the value for money in the middle of Paris. Arrived at 11am and were allowed into our room as it was ready. Was a bit worried about the proximity of the red light district but although it's only a few blocks away it doesn't have any effect on the area around the hotel. Masses of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants nearby - can't wait to go back.

A well organised hotel, clean, well presented, with friendly & helpful staff. We did not eat at the hotel as we prefered to eat at local cafe's & restaurants. I would stay there again when in Paris. We had an excellent meal at the Restaurant Relic just up the road from the hotel. The location is good & it get better as you walk up the hill into Montmarte. Beware of the money machines ! Stick to those at banks & branches. I had a bad experience with one in Rue Lepic belonging to a credit bank. It accepted my card & then completely failed to operate going into meltdown & keeping my card !I found the staff at the local branch didn't care & I had no alternative but to cancell my card. Luckily we were carying another credit card.

Lovely hotel, in a really convenient location for both Montmartre and the rest of Paris (via the nearby metro station). The multilingual staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few steps from the excellent cafes and shops and yet it was very quiet and restful. Also just a short walk from the Sacre Coeur basilica and the artistic centre of Montmartre. An ideal hotel from which to base a holiday in Paris.

Nice area in Montmartre, just 20 meters from les deux Moulins, the local bar and workplace of Amèlie de Poulain (if you saw the movie..). Very friendly and helpful staff - housekeeping and cleanliness of rooms is excellent. Very small rooms though - but we thought it excellent. Very quiet - hardly any sound at all from the streets. French continental breakfast, however somewhat expensive at 13 Euros...

My wife and I stayed in a standard double room at The Relais Montmarte for two nights. The hotel's location is charming, in a quiet arty side street with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and close to a metro. While our standard room was on the small side (this is typical in Paris I'm told), it was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, as were all the public areas. The multilingual staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We didn't book breakfast at the hotel, however there are plenty of cafes on the doorstep which open early (even on a Sunday morning). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Relais Montmartre and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Le Relais Montmartre is a brilliant little hotel in Paris. It is full of character and is very close to the Blanche Metro station, Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. The room had a lovely smell when we opened the door and it was spotlessly clean. Very cosy and comfortable too!!There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby to soak up the whole ambiance of Montmartre.Wonderful!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Hotel Le Relais Motmartre. The staff were extemely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The hotel was impeccably clean at all times and the decor was extremely nice, in both the publics spaces and the rooms. The hotel itself was situated in a fantastic location, on a quiet street, yet only seconds walk from evey amenity, a huge variety of restaurants, and the metro. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in this area of paris.

We spent 2 days in a 'confort' room at 2nd floor. The room was very clean and nice but not so big.The breakfast (not included in the room fee) was served in the room and was good enough. The surroundings are nice and we enjoyed a lot Montmartre area. If you travel with children, just pay attention that Pigalle is nearby.

Hotel is situated in a quiet street just 2 minutes from Moulin Rouge and Metro station. The Montmartre area has plenty of restaurants and several pubs and is a lively place for an evening out. Rooms are lovely, very clean and tastefully decorated though a bit on the small side. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Small reception but beautifully decorated. Good value for money and pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

Well placed in the 'villagey' area of Montmartre, easy access to local shops and restaurants and a few hundred yard from the Metro. Staff very helpful and the hotel was generally quiet and restful. Generous continental breakfast available in your room. Our room was comfortable if a little small with an en-suite shower, all very clean and well maintained. No complaints at all.

Within 1 & 1/2 blocks to moulin rouge. (not recommended. 99euro per ticket and not worth it) area is fun. Several restaurants in the area including multiple jazz clubs. Area safe and fun to walk around at night. Hotel clean and as described. We stayed in a deluxe room and had no complaints. AC worked great, size was as expected for Paris. Very clean. Staff was very helpful. We would stay there again. I would like to let you know if traveling with young children that while you are on the road that the moulin rouge sits, as you come out of the show, and go to the left the next several blocks are peep shows and sex stores. So within about 4 blocks of the hotel. The hotel sits in a nice area that is safe. Just when you go down to the main road.If you turn to the right there are no problems just restaurants, pubs etc.
