Hôtel très bien situé tout près de Notre Dame. Belle vue de la chambre (3ème étage) et très bon accueil. Chambre climatisée et bien insonorisée, le carrefour étant très très fréquenté.

We have been to Paris over 25 times, and have stayed at the Le Notre Dame twice. There is no better located hotel in Paris. The hotel is directly across from the Metro and in the heart of the Left Bank. There are unbelievable views of Notre Dame and of never ending street activity from the rooms. Unfortunately, the street activity and frequent sirens create noise which isn't blocked by the windows. Ear plugs are a necessity. The rooms are not large by American standards, but are normal for Paris hotels. The staff is helpful, and the breakfast good. If you are willing to accept the street noise, I recommend the hotel highly. When traveling in Europe, bring a wash cloth. Almost no hotels provide them. Also bring adapter electrical plugs.

Best place for a romantic weekend, real Babylon all around. Make sure your windows could be closed tight or you won't fall asleep till 5 o'clock in the morning.

This was a very nice hotel and I would go there again. In fact my husband will be going to Paris this week and will stay here. Great location as it is on three metro/train lines and multiple buses. Restaurants all around the hotel, the view of the Notre Dame, street entertainment, all add to the entertainment of being in Paris. Very nice rooms which are larger than those I expected for a European hotel. Tub has a shower but no shower curtain so you sit in the tub while showering so the water doesn't wet the floor. But bathroom is nice and has built-in hair dryer. Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is on a very busy street so if the windows are open, it is too noisy. With the windows shut, the room is nice and quiet. Not a handicap accessible hotel because of stairs to get you to the reception area and narrow and angled corridors getting to the rooms.

This was my "trip of a lifetime" although I have been to Paris several times before. I am a 70yr old single female traveler and stayed for 3 weeks. I loved my room and the hotel. It is a perfect location. The staff is great one day and rude the next as I don't speak French. I was delighted with my stay.

Le Notre Dame Hotel is a wonderful hotel with an incredible view of the Notre Dame Cathedral. Room was beautifully appointed, extremely clean and quiet. Hotel is centrally located near all the sights of this extraordinary city. In the Saint Germain district , area full of bars, quaint little shops, cafes and very reasonable priced eateries. My son loved the 4 Euros kebabs sold everywhere to go. The crepes were delicious. We are returning next month.

My husband and I were extremely happy with the Hotel - our room with a view of the Notre Dame was incredible, especially at night time. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information regarding our week's stay. We have been to Paris twice before but have not stayed in a hotel in central Paris. It was an unforgetable experience. The Hotel is so central to everything in Paris. The buses, the metro, the cafes and shops are all based around the hotel. I would be very happy to recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to be in central Paris.

The Petite Pont restaurant across the road on St Jacques is open 24 hours a day and the ruelle behind the hotel is full of restaurants - mostly Greek. There many other choices within walking distance on St Louis Island as well.

I will warmly recommend Hotel Le Notre Dame. I stayed there for four nights together with my boyfriend and we were extremely happy with the hotel. The view to Notre Dame was beautiuful, the room was very clean and fairly spacious, and the employees spoke English, and they helped us book a trip to Versailles. Outside our room there was a very busy road with lots of traffic, but with the windows closed we heard almost nothing, and the air condition was very effective, so it was not a problem at all. The hotel could hardly be more conveniently located near the Latin Quarter, Notre dame, and the very central metro station St. Michel. We found very good restaurants in the neighbourhood. I do not recommend breakfast at the hotel, though, it was not so good, but there are several nice bakeries and cafes just around the corner.

We loved Hotel Le Notre Dame, especially the view of the Seine and Notre Dame. Must have the rooms w/ a view. I would definitely stay again. Keep in mind the lift is very small, so only about two people can fit. The rooms w/o a view are smaller.

The best part of the hotel was that it was walking distance to most of the first time tourist sights: Notre Dame (able to see it from the room), Louvre, Seine, Eiffel Tower... It was our first time in Paris and was a perfect location. A bit noisy at night because it was in a lively part of town but we didn't mind it, we closed the windows and turned the air conditioner on low and it was fine.

It was our first time at Hotel Le Notre Dame but we were so pleased with the hotel and its location that we intend to stay there again and have already recommended it to friends. We loved its historic charm, its lovely lounge area and the views of the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the River Seine immediately across the road. The street below was busy and it was great to open the windows to enjoy the hustle and bustle below - but silence was immediately achieved on closing the windows, so good is the quality of the glazing. The surrounding streets provide an extensive range of places to eat and drink to suit every mood or budget. A great discovery, found tucked away two streets away, was Le Caveau De Huchette, a fantastic and well-renowned jazz club in a complex of cellars, open every night and offering good quality musicians - a must if you like live music - and the majority of the people there were french music-lovers not tourists. L'Open Tour buses have a stop across the bridge in front of the hotel and we found them invaluable. We were fortunate to discover that the 2-day ticket can actually be 2-and-a- bit days - the buses run until about 7.30 in the evening and if a ticket is purchased after 4 pm you can have a tour straight away and the ticket is also valid for the next two complete days - we did the Grand Tour on the first evening, two shorter ones the next day then visited Montmartre on the second full day. The Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay are within comfortable walking distance and it was interesting to amble around local streets where art shops, antique shops, churches and other fascinating buildings lurked. The nearby Metro stations bring the rest of Paris close at hand but we thoroughly enjoyed starting and ending each day in this modest little gem.

Simona the reception manager made us very welcome(but not so happy the following morning after England beat France at rugby again!). Great location for short independent break. Secure parking close by(25euros/24 hours). Book a river view room and watch the world go by with a glass of wine, priceless. Stad de France only 4 stops away on the Metro just outside the hotel. Turn left out of the hotel along the Seine, pass the first road junction by about 50 metres for a superb gastronomic experience at Fogon a restaurant with a modern Spanish flavour(book in advance) see ViaMichelin news letter 19 Feb 2008.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is within walking distance of major tourist attractions. It is also well served by the Metro and RER. Our room had a view of Notre Dame which was fantsstic at night when the Cathedral was illuminated. The room was surprisingly spacious as we had stayed in the Latin Quarter before and found other hotel rooms in the area to be quite small. Overall my wife and I were most satisfied with the hotel and the only negative worth mentioning was the lack of a shower curtain which in the overall scheme of things was pretty minor. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

L'hotel si trova in un ottima posizione, servito da RER e metro.Le stanze sono molto caratteristiche, nel mio caso il bagno merita una nota di rilievo. This charming, clean hotel is ideally located if you want to see Paris as a pedestrian. The Notre Dame is kitty-corner to the hotel, La Louvre is a 15 minute walk on some of the most scenic, historic streets. Each morning a petite dejeuner was available at the hotel in the common area and was just the right touch to start your day. The consierage is on duty 24 hours/day and provides great support. I would definately return to the Notre Dame hotel - it was a lovely, peaceful experience.

Great location, but the room was overvalued. Two twin beds pushed together do not make a queen sized bed. Bathroom was small and relatively Spartan. E-mail requests for upper room with cathedral view were not answered, an subsequent request at check-in was expectantly unavailable.

Perfect central location and of course that view! Several main metro lines within one or 2 blocks makes getting anywhere a breeze. Landmark of Notre Dame means hotel is always easy to find- a real plus when jet lagged or new to the city. Staff helpful and pleasant but not wonderful. Room is a good size for Paris. Simple but with some charm w/large french windows and beamed ceiling.

On arrival hotel and room felt a bit stuffy (not aired well). Staff was not over welcoming but efficient. Location is brilliant - a bit noisy of course. Phonic insulation is not very good inside the hotel - heard the neighbour have a shower, leave early, etc ... Seems too expensive (200€/night - almost 1500FF!) as location is not all, not always !

I loved staying at Hotel le Notre Dame. The view was amazing! The room was excellent. It was small, as are al rooms in Paris, but a little more spacious than most. Location, location, location ! Hotel isn't exactly feature packed or plush, but has lots of character (exposed ceiling beams, old-style wallpaper) and I could never get tired of that view (Notre Dame, the Seine). Very nice location, view on Notre-Dame Cathedral. The room was very little. Maybe because I've chosen the 100 EUR per night but I would say that the structure is very small even in common spaces. One of the best point is that is in the middle of a very nice and lively quarter. Overall, I would recommend the structure.

Hotel Le Notre Dame couldn't have been more perfect! Direct transportation from CDG on RER Line B took just over 30 minutes and stopped at Metro St Michel which is less than two minutes walk away from the Hotel. Check in was swift and the rooms are beautiful - we were in room 52 which had beamed ceilings and a supreme view of Notre Dame. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and of a reasonable size by Parisian standards. Yes it is on a very busy road, so traffic noise might be a problem, but the double glazing reduced that to a gentle buzz! It's location is in the heart of the Quartier Latin which means that you are spoilt for choice with numerous bars and restaurants of all nationalities - French, Greek, Italian, African, Indian, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese etc etc. We didn't use the hotel for Breakfast, but went across the road to Le Petit Pont - not cheap, but you pay for the view! As far as getting around is concerened, the Metro is great, but to get to know Paris above ground you can't beat walking, which is where this Hotel excels. Less than 20 minutes walk away is the Louvre, another 30 minutes is L'Arc de Triomphe and the same again for the Eiffel Tower. We'd definitely use this hotel again and again!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and no one could ask for a better location. We could see Notre Dame from our window, and even though we were on the first floor - right above a bustling cafe - there was nearly no noise with the windows shut! (And it wasn't even stuffy, as the air conditioner took care of climate control almost too well!)

Travelers should be aware, as I was not, that this hotel is situated on an extremely busy corner, with lots of noise from traffic and from passersby. Great little hotel if you don't hvae to be in Paris on business. Perfectly adequate for what it is. I do feel that the hotel misses a trick with its breakfast service which provides stale, tasteless rolls and croissants with a minimum of interaction with staff - an opportunity lost to personalise the experience. Imagine this: You walk into your room in the evening when arriving in Paris, the light is off and you step in the room and through the window you see the Notre Dame in ligths. I would highly recommend the Notre Dame hotel. It is situated in the very centre of Paris, just across the river from Notre Dame. Step out of the hotel door will situate you in the middle of Quartier Latin. The stay in the hotel exceeded my expectations. It is not the cheapest of the hotels, but has a very good price/quality ratio.

Yes, we were allocated a room with view on the Notre-Dame cathedral, as promised. Great but it was not mentioned that it would be an attic at the sixth floor, when the pictures are showing a room with a flat ceiling. An improvement in the bathroom would be to add a simple curtain to the bathtub, avoiding spreading water all over the bathroom when taking a shower. The single plank reserved for the lingerie in the wardrobe is quite small. The fridge enclosed in the wardrobe reduces even more the tiny storage volume and moreover, might be a risk of fire.

This hotel is a wonderful find for several reasons! We chose this hotel because of its location, wireless Internet, price, and air conditioning (August). It far exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff bent over backwards to accommodate each request. They allowed us to view a couple of rooms before choosing one. When we discovered that we were so high (5th flr) that the WiFi did not reach us, they offered to move us to lower floor. We had an incredible view of the Seine and Notre Dame (tier X2 rooms are corner and the best). There were hundreds of wonderful restaurants a stone's throw from the hotel. The beds were comfortable, TV was good (news)and the bathrooms were marble and new like a 4 star French or luxury USA hotel. I have stayed in almost two dozen Parisian hotels from 2 star Left Bank hotels to the Meurice. For value, this is positively the best. A+
