delightful hotel, beautiful rooms, friendly helpful staff,one of the best hotels of it`s class I have stayed in in Paris & I plan to stay here again.I have friends living nearby and they use the bakers on Rue Des Martyrs at the opposite end of the road, all the locals use it and there`s always a queue unlike the 3 bakeries in the same block

All good except a) room service - took over an hour and a half, didn't have many of the choices, and very expensive and b) the map provided was inaccurate, having missed out many streets and making it difficult to find. Otherwise, this was the biggest room we had in Europe and the bathroom was FANTASTIC (brand new!).

The room was reasonably well located only 10 minutes from Gard De Nord Train Station, 5 minutes from the Metro and walking distance to the main centre. The room was tiny and quite old but clean enough and comfortable. Most of the staff were polite and spoke English well enough. One staff member seemed to not know what was going on but he was the exception. The breakfast at 10 Euro per person was overpriced and disappointing and we only had breakfast there once. You are much better off buying pastries from the patisserie around the corner. Internet was 5 euro per hour at the hotel and much cheaper around the corner at the many internet cafés. Overall not bad but not great for the price.

It is a lovely hotel in 9ème. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, they alway could help out with hints where to go. One drawback was that at some times there was no hot water, and we were a group of 7 Japanese... So everyone had a bathtub - as requested - but merely warm water. Also the breakfast is not included, but costs 10€, which on the other hand is also server in the room, if liked. I admint we didn't try it. Anyway, it is a nice hotel to stay, but may be not the best in this category. Good luck finding a better one. If found, please be so kind to let me know :)

The rooms were comfortable and the staff were excellent - they could't do enough for us and spoke excellent english. The only slight criticism would be the public areas are small and can get congested if there are other guests waiting to check in/out.
