Good location. The carpet in common areas was very dirty. Some things did not work (air conditionner/heat; safe; corridor light switch). Acoustic insulation does not exist, and we were awaken every nught many times by some people partying in the room above.

I was travelling with my son. We had to move rooms as the air conditioning in the first room did not work and the first night was very uncomfortable. There was no safe - the lady on reception suggested I look in the wardrobe, as if I wouldn't have thought of that. There was no plug in the sink and the one in the bath did not work. The shower was feeble in both rooms and there was not much hot water, especially in the mornings. There was no English language television in either room, despite the lady on reception telling me to tune into channel 30. There was a safe in the second room but it was locked shut. The rooms were so small the only place to put the suitcase was in the wardrobe.

We chose Hotel La Fleche d'Or as very few hotels appeared to be available at short notice (~10 days). Location was OK. Price was high and so were expectations therefore - it did disappoint. Curtains didn't close properly, air-condidtioning was more like a hair dryer and didn't cool room, generally things looked cheap (and they weren't). even by paris standards paying Euro 450 per nioght is high and this place was worth maybe Euro100 at best. We would not recommend it

The main problem of this hotel are the rooms ,they are very small not more than 8 M a double one. Then the staff in not gentle at all,the whole structure is old, the furniture and everything. Is very close to the metro station and near enough of the main attractions. You can valuate it not more than 2 stars.I don't recommend it because there are other structures at the same price much better. No air conditioner, no free internet, wi fi net at 8 euros per hour.

Enjoyed stay in the hotel, although room at the front was noisy (lot of traffic). Furthermore, hotel and room were clean. People nice. In the area were a lot of people without a roof in the street, late in the evening. But I did not feel threatened. It was the first time I stayed there. Loverly for women who like shopping.

Good value. Don't bother with their breakfast. Plenty of alternatives in the area. Close to 2 metro stations. One downer: many homeless/beggars on nearby sidewalks. I live in NYC, and the situation in Paris, generally, is far worse. Leaving this aside, very good value for a comfortable hotel.

The hotel is clean and quite, the receptionist are professional, and provide all information. They don't speak Italian. I did not get the brakfast. Some good boulangerie is just around the corner. The big St. Lazare metro station is only 200m far.

Quite small room, but OK if you're out most of the time; friendly staff and very convenient location (very close to the metro; restaurants & brasseries/bistrots nearby). Reasonable prices (Nov-2008). In italiano: stanza minuscola ma vivibile come base, pulizia accettabile; ottima posizione in tutti i sensi; prezzo ragionevole per quanto offerto (Nov-2008)

The staff was very knowlegeable and helpful. Our compliments go to the German girl who worked the desk and spoke excellent English, French and as I remember Spanish. She represents outstanding staff and customer service. I picked this hotel based upon its location near the train and metro stations. Plus the picture of its arched grotto like dinning area was inviting. The metro terminal is very modern at this station with lots of connecting lines. It is within one and a half blocks of the hotel. The train station is in definate need of moderization and is under going such work. The hotel interior is very nice much better that what you would expect walking through the neighborhood from the train station. Two good sidewalk cafes within a block of the hotel.

Good room with balcony. A little bit noisy but still largely acceptable compare to the other hotels I have seen in Paris. Would have been great to have more channels on the TV, I had to connect the TV myself and there were only 5 or 6 channels. Welcome excellent.

Pleasant staff. I was not pleased when the maids knocked on our door to ask if we needed towels/empty garbage/etc. when we had the "do not disturb" sign up --we were on our honeymoon and would have been happy to inquire about extra towels if needed from the front desk. Still, overall it was a nice place to stay, we were there for 4 nights, it is close to Gare Saint Lazare. The immediate neighborhood was not the nicest (after dark), but we still felt relatively safe. Internet access WAY too expensive!

We were in Paris for the weekend to meet our daughter who is there for a year. We had two rooms, thankfully facing into internal courtyard. No view but quiet, apart from occasional drone from the metro below. Rooms rather small but par for the course in Paris.Clean but definitely in need of renovation. Service from the front desk was excellent. Although satisfactory we feel the rate was too high. Our usual hotel 800m away provides better rooms for €40 less per night.

Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms a little on the tired side but absolutely fine. ideal area of city for wandering around. Only a few yards from St Lazare station from which trains, taxis, buses, Metro and RER are easily accessible.

Very nice cozy hotel, clean with air conditioned rooms, closed to train station, stores, affordable restaurants. At walking distance to Moulin Rose, Mont Matre area. Very good staff that speaks spanish which was very helpfull for us. Comfortable beds. Situated in a good street with many amenities like stores, pharmacys, doctors office accross the street.I will recommended and will stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was just as decribed on website. Rooms are small, but clean and just fine for the short time that we were in the rooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The best part about this place is the location to train & metro rails. We travelled to Paris by train and 1/2 block to hotel was ideal. Value for price was really good for a hotel in Paris -- would definitely stay again.

Nice quiet hotel. It's close to several tube stops and has a few places to eat nearby too. We had a great stay, the staff were very helpful in giving us directions and pointing things out on the map. (Car) parking is not too far away and costs 23 Euros per 24h.

Everything is excellant, except internet access. Internet access is not functional, and staff say it should be fixed next day, then say the same thing next day, then again next day. It's never been fixed during our stay-4days. I will call and make sure internet is functional if I will return to this hotel.

Very close to Gare St.Lazarre and the Metro train are just 5 mins by walk. The rooms were great, the service as expected.Breakfast is not included in the price (which was clearly indicated on Venere website)Breakfast was priced steep at 11 Euros(The hotel being so centrally located, you can always eat your breakfast at any french patissery). The road is a busy one, so the windows have to be shut, however the hotel is equipped with good airconditioning facilities so there is no need to open the windows.
