Sweden, Apr 2009
The bakery at the corner, just mention that their baguettes and even from venere are superb, but they don´t want to give more or less change than supposed to. The bus to Trocadero and the métro, very good connections even through Nation, to Disneyland. Thanks to www.concierge.com, we ordered PARIS VISITE and all tickets were good to fin in the checkin caused of a bringing letter to our hotel. It´s important when one going abroad with three children...

Really good... such as I imagined... The best was the clean bathroom!! Also, it was close to the metro, and it's a really good place to stay if you want to go to Eurodisney... it's closer...

Finding the place can be confusing. The hotel is neither at Bercy nor Nation. The Metro stop is Porte de Vincennes.

We did not enjoy our stay at the hotel. The staff was usually not kind, the elevator is very small and got stuck. The toilet bowl was leaking for three days although we asked to repair it. The small lobby is very dark and it was not pleasant.

hotel was clean, service great, locate close to tube, rough area, no family or higher quality restaurants close. Easy to locate Not a three star hotel more like a two star hotel price a little high for area.

I found these rooms to be a good value for 3 or even 4 to their largest room but not so good for a double. What I liked about it was the location on the yellow 1m line, the nearby pharmacy and the incredible pastry shop just around the corner on the way to the metro. Oh, and the open air farmers market just up Cours de Vincennes towards Place de la Nation. What I didn't like was what I've come to expect from all inexpensive hotels and pensions, thin walls, small bathrooms (in the double room anyway) and a really bad breakfast. By-the-way if it was once, it is no longer true that the breakfast here is obligatory, so don't take it. It is helpful if you speak some french here but definitely don't let that stop you. Most of the clerks speak some english.

If you just look for bed in Paris, it ia acceptable to stay in this hotel. Try to find other places for breakfast instead of eating in the simple cafe of the hotel. Also, the English proficiency of the staff needs to be improved so that customers from different places can have a better quality of service.

Excellent value for money, close to the metro, and situated in a pleasant part of Paris. We will use this Hotel on future trips to Paris.

Except for being near to the Metro I thought it should be a 2 star rated hotel and not a 3 star. Not more than 1 person can go in the elevator.Do not go for the Photographs .They do not match the rooms at all. That was a total disappointment.I thought they charged us more than what is needed.

We stayed at the Jardins for 3 nights while in Paris, It's location is perfect for the metro. The rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel staff spoke O.K. English. Altogether an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was substandard. There is no airconditioning, which should have been mentioned. The staff were not very helpfull and spoke very little English.

Decisamente un ottimo albergo nel rapporto qualità/prezzo. Si trova un pò in periferia, ma a 20 metri dalla Metro 1. Un'ottima scelta se andate a Parigi per la prima volta e l'hotel vi serve solo per dormire! :-)

The hotel does not deserve three stars. My room was really small and in bad need of substantial renovation.

The hotel may not look entirely like it does in the pictures but let me assure you that its cosy and quaint Parisian charm make up for it. All the rooms are fitted with very large TVs and have a more than adequate ensuite bathrooms with a decent shower. Not all of the employees speak very good English so have your best French at the ready, but generally the staff are all very helpful. Its about a 2 minute walk away from a decent metro line and you can be at the eiffel tower within 15 minutes. Overall, a nice hotel with a good price, and a quiet location surrounded by a variety of restaurants. I certainly reccomend it to anyone who wants to experience Paris for what Paris is.

Hotel had a general feel of not being taking care of as well as it could be. Satellite (or Cable) TV but no CNN or other English language channel. Positive is that it is on the "1" metro line which goes to all the major sites. Less than 5 minute walk to metro station (2 or 3 stops from Lyon Gare station).

We were generally satisfied. However it was not nice that the hotel insisted that we had to take breakfast altough nothing like that was mentioned in the internet price that we reserved. The rooms were not very fresh since it was smoking smell sustained.Comparing with its price it was a god stay. Thank you.

Minus: 1.Some tiles on the bath were loose on this ***-hotel. 2.Noice from the street. Plus: 1.Price. Offer 70€ for a double room with breakfast. 2.Location. Just 20 minutes to the city with Metro#1. 3.Good restaurangs on the main street 4. Close to a food store.

They charged my credit card twice, so I have paid 2 rooms instead of one, I sent a fax to get my money back but I haven't got a response!! So, instead of 70 euros per room, I paid 140 euros!!

Ottima soluzione per chi non vuole spendere molto. Vicino alla metro, sulla linea 1. La camera non è molto spaziosa ma pulita. Veramente un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, lo consiglio.

Probably the best value for money deal experienced on our travels - price was a third of the off-the -street price should at the reception.

great free breakfast: croissants, great bread, coffee and juice, also cheese and ham. good value... just make sure to make a reservation! online prices are much better than what they charge if you just arrive and ask for a room...

Staff were wonderfully helpful only problem which hindered our stay was that there was no air conditioning, and Paris in August is not a cool place thus very difficult to sleep. Otherwise was very good
