It was our first stay at the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The location is top, it could not be better. Only the breakfast wasn't worth the price, but you are in France ... We would definitely stay there again ...

Location, welcome and overall service was excellent. Our room was pleasantly decorated but was smaller than expected - the photos we looked at prior to reservation indicated the rooms to be larger than the reality! The addition of extra hooks in the compact bathroom would make it easier to hang both towels and clothing. Also, the provision of a small cake of soap, especially for guests who have just arrived from overseas, is an essential item and standard practice in most places around the world. Overall this Paris hotel offers very good all round service and is in a great location for sightseeing.

well located, near the sorbonne and close to shopping and transporation, hotel accommodated with an upgraded room and was friendly. Room was very clean and as advertised

The hotel was lovely, the staff gracious and helpful. Great central location making it easy to walk to the metro or to the Lourve, D'orsay, Notre Dame...many cafes in the neighborhood....Our double room was very attractive and actually a bit larger than most European hotels we have stayed out. The hotel was a big part of the Paris experience.

We recommend this hotel heartly. Refering the breakfast: it is worth the Euro 12 but for people who just want to take a croissant and a coffee there are lots of Cafes around.

The hotel is cosy and stylish. Employees very welcomining. Feel like at home indeed. The surroundings are among nicest in Paris - on walking distance from most sightseeings but quiet and clean street at the same time. I would recommend restaurant Aux2Olives (next building to Odeon theater).

Very high quality hotel for the money - rooms are small but for a weekend this is no problem. Staff are wonderful!

Jardin d`Odeon is a nice hotel, very quiet and clean, with helpful and gentle staff. It is very well located, near metro and a lot of nice restaurants, bars, shops, etc. and you can get to Notre Dame by foot in less than 10 minutes. The room we got was really small, but I think it is a common characteristic of hotels in Paris, as we could read in other reviews in Venere. Anyway, the overall experience was nice and we stayed at the room too little time to be annoyed with its size. The bathroom could be improved by installing shower curtains or other type of protection that could prevent a tall person like me of splashing water everywhere when showering. The breakfast was expensive (12 euros per person) but was delicious, with a good variety of cheese, breads, fruit and everything. We would come back and can recommend it.

The rooms are small, but no more so than rooms in other Paris hotels. The staff are friendly and there is a good breakfast. Hotel is situated in a lovely part of Paris - close to restaurants, park, river, museums. Good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at Jardin de l'Odeon a lot. Location is fantastic, the room was big enough to accommodate a cot for our baby and breakfast was great as well (12 euros is not bad for what you get, we tried other places and prices are pretty much the same).

Hotel reception was extremely cold and unhelpful for requests, especially the woman who mans the front desk in the mornings. In short, the front desk staff is lacking in friendliness and cannot be bothered with women travellers--they will go out of their way to help men, especially businessmen. Room was NOT CLEAN, especially the bath (tub was filthy) and linens not changed during a 5 night stay. Room was tiny as all Paris hotel rooms. Exception was that it was very quiet..due to room facing back. Hotel location is great--but if you need any neighborhood/city/travel help from front desk, you won't find it unless you are wearing a suit.

Lovely designed rooms, absolutely clean and although small they provide everything one needs, incl. aircondition. Location is great, close to the metro, cafes and park, yet our room was quiet at night. Breakfast is a good deal with attentive service.

The location was excellent although we found the map of directions to the hotel hard to follow and not really walking distance with luggage from the metro. It was a lovely hotel to stay in and the staff most accommodating.

Hotel shown in wrong place on map from web-site. This made it very difficult to find. Had to ask directions in a tabac! Reception staff were aware map was wrong. Hopefully this has been put right.

The hotel was in a perfect position, a nice safe, quiet area with Jardin de Luxembourg just around the corner. Hotel was within easy walking distance of Notre Dame and 2mins from the nearest metro. Absolutely ideal for exploring Paris.

We have been to Paris a number of times and particularly like the area near the Luxembourg Gardens. The hotel was in a great place and we really enjoyed our stay there in Room 11 - quiet and overlooking the garden courtyard at the back. We will go back there again.

This was my first stay at Jardin de l'Odeon. My mother and I were on a girls holiday. I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel and the area. I have been to Paris before and had lower expectations due to my previous stay. Everything was pleasant during our stay of 2 days. The people were kind and welcoming and the room was quite clean. The hotel is in a fairly central area and is walking to distance to the rails and to many of the sites. It was great having the park so close by as well. I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay here on my next visit!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. My #1 priority is cleanliness and this hotel met that expectation 100%. The inside room was on the small side- to be expected I guess. The room overlooked a very small courtyard- which was pleasant. The location was great! Easy walk to the Metro as well as many of the popular tourist sites. I rated the quietness of the rooms down only because we could easily hear doors slamming when people came and went. Considering the weak US$ and the price of hotels in Paris--we thought the "bang for our buck" was good.

We went to Paris to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. The people at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful, and gave us great recommendations on shopping and eating. The room was very nice and clean. Small, but typical for Paris. The location was great - walking distance to many cafes, bars, and local sights. I would definitely consider staying there again.

When asking for an extra blanket as the room wa a little cool the answer was, waving both hands: No, no ! A little surpricing considering the price of the room. The room and bathroom both small, but clean,, room very quiet, facing a back yard. Extremely good location, within easy walking distance from many of Paris attractions.

Excellent hotel, great location only short walk to Notre Dame and river. Good range of Cafes and Resturants near by. Metro very close by, easy to get at from the airport by train, one change on to the Metro. Next to Luxembourg gardens, worth a visit on a nice day. Found a great French resturant called La Petite Perigourdine on Rue D'Ecole. Staff very friendly, great food and not to pricey, they gave us a glass of champagne as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was so good we went two nights running. Great local right next to the Metro Odeon exit, on the corner on route to the Hotel. Friendly staff, good value.

A hard-to-beat location. Inner court rooms hear birdsong and not outside noise. (Paris seems generally not as noisy as other big cities, such as Rome or New York.) The staff, led by Stephanie, is highly professional and friendly. We would definitely return.

A small boutique hotel, decor, sort of modern art deco. the staff were excelent and very helpful and spoke perfect english, the room was on the small size but this is standard in Paris, spotlessly clean. location was good, 2 mins to Saint Germain, 15 mins walk to louvre and notre dame. too many restaurants in the area to list. all in all the stay was very good and I would recommend this hotel very highly

More bright, warm and comfortable than we had even hoped for in the centre of Paris. The interior seemed both traditional, and extremely modern and we found no fault with any aspect of the rooms, or the service. The convenience of the location is perfect. Breakfasts too were much more varied and substantial than you might expect in France - very good value too. An ideal venue - we hope to be back soon.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Jardin de l'Odeon for 5 days. I have stayed in many small hotels in this area of Paris, and I can say this one is quite lovely and conforms to all the claims you read in the brochure. The bed linens were changed every day, which is not always the case other places. The location is superb. The staff knowledgeable, pleasant and responsive. We got a great rate through Venere.com which made it a good value for us. In all, it was a delightful experience, better than I had expected!

My wife and I chose hotel for a 3day break, because of excellent left bank location, good price and previous venere feedback. It's a lovely little hotel on a quiet street, just 3 mins from metro, courteous and efficient staff, very clean, good size bathroom. Rooms an ok size for a short break. Only downside is you can hear other residents entering and leaving their rooms. Will definitely return.

This is the third time I stayed at Jardin de l'Odeon and next time I visit Paris I will be staying here again. The location, charme and value for money are hard to beat in this area of the city. The close proximity to the Odeon metro station means that you can be at the hotel within 30 minutes of stepping out of the Eurostar. Perfect! This is a very nice small hotel with a touch of style. Highly recommended.

Altogether a very good hotel. A decent sized room by Paris standards with a large comfy bed - the en siute was a bit on the small side, but perfectly functional. Very clean. Welcoming, friendly staff who offer good advice and saw to our every need. Great location near the Sorbonne and only 5-10 minutes walk from Notre Dame - plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and a lively, friendly atmosphere throughout the area.

Mesmo assim, eu voltaria a me hospedar lá.

we stayed at hotel jardin de l'odeon for 7 nights in August. my husband and son stayed in one room and my daughter and I stayed in the room next door. I would say that we were happy with everything except the size of the rooms. They were very small. As this is the first and only hotel we stayed in Paris, I don't know if all the hotels in Paris have small rooms or it was just this one. But comparing it to US standards, it was very small. However, they were clean and very nicely furnished. The air conditioning worked well (it was very much needed too as it was extremely hot in Paris). The shower stall, although very small, had good water pressure and I took enjoyable showers. The hotel is in a quiet street with easy access to lots of shops on Boulevard St. Germanine, the metro and buses. The lobby is very nicely decorated and the hotel is very clean.

Excellent location, small but very clean and nice rooms. Bed and bedding very comfortable. There were so many positives about this hotel and some negatives. We were in room 16 and stayed for 8 nights. It is spotlessly clean to say the least. The staff are helpful and speak English. The location is very good on a fairly quiet street in St Germain. It is very close to Luxembourg Gardens and the Metro Odeon station. Many restaurants within walking distance. The noise level was ok. At night, the street is pretty quiet. The windows do a very good job of blocking the noise. It might be different in the summer as most of the rooms have no AC and you might want an open window. For a March stay, the heat was very adequate with an adjustable radiator in the room. The hallway noise becomes evident around 9 am when the staff get moving. Walls are fairly thin and every door closure is heard loudly. I was also able to hear the TV of the neighbor thorough our wall some evenings. If you are a very light sleeper, this could be a problem. The bathroom was tiled floor and walls with white tiles. It had a large tub with a partial shower door. The floor still got wet despite this. The shower was a hand held but mounted on the wall. It was impossible not to soak the floor and they only give a few towels so this was aggravating. The hair dryer is mounted and more powerful than most hotel hairdryers. You had to stretch it all the way to see yourself in the mirror though. There were no additional outlets in the bathroom. Great water pressure. We were fortunate to get a fantastic deal on this hotel from Venere. However, I would have a problem returning to this hotel for one major reason which was the general comfort level. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Very thin mattress with no padding at all. We also found the sheets and towels to be "rough" and not comfortable. If not for this, I would love this hotel but I was sore all week and slept poorly. I rated this average on price vs. quality due to this reason. Had we payed full rate

The hotel was extremely well situated. It was very easy to get to. We took the RER from Charles de Gaulle to St Michel and it was then less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. It was also only 5 minutes from Bd St Germain, Sorbonne and perhaps 10 mins or so from Rue Mouffetard or the Seine and Notre Dame. Proximity to the metro meant that all of central Paris was really within easy reach. Being between St Germain chic and the student areas meant there was a good choice of restaurants and bars of all types and price brackets. The hotel was well decorated and clean. The rooms were not large and there was only a shower in the bathroom. However, my daughter had a somewhat bigger room with a full size bath and separate writing area. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day. Plenty of hot water and heating on all day. In fact even in January we had to turn the radiators off as we felt to hot - but this is obviously just personal preference. The area felt quite safe at night. We were not aware of any undue noise. It was really very quiet for a city centre location. Rue Casimir Delavigne is narrow and has little through traffic. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in a nice left bank hotel for a reasonable price. Descriptions provided were accurate. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.

The hotel was lovely and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Language was never a problem as they all spoke English far better than our French. The picture on the sight is realy the larger more expensive room. But all the rooms are comfortable and clean and typically French, on the small side. The rooms are quiet from the outside noise, doors tend to slam on the inside and realy rattle the room at times. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
