Nice stay. Nothing special, but comfortable and quiet and easy to get in and out of Paris by the RER.

Basic hotel, but corresponds with my needs. Because I was looking for a cheap hotel on a short metro distance from the city centre

A bit difficult to find from the station, and the access via tough stairs was not easy, but once we were in the reception, everything was just fine. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Good alternative when in Paris if you don't mind changing for the RER Mrs Bendte, Norway

This hotel was cheap I know but even so, there are basic levels of cleanliness and upkeep. I really would not even suggest staying here unless you are literally after a bed in Paris.

La Defense is the center of the business world in Paris and is just 2 stops on the RER A from the Champs-Elysees. This makes this hotel a great location to stay at, as it can be reached easily and quickly from the RER A and in within eye-shot once you exit the Nanterre Prefecture station (to your left). At night is quite but still, nowhere in any major city is particularly safe at night, so always exercise caution. Apart from that, it is great value for money and I would return anytime! One complaint: showers need shower curtains!! The floor gets really wet without them.

I am not a high maintenance traveler, but I won't stay in a hostel. This hotel was very clean and it was in a great location 2 blocks from the RER A. You could even walk to the la defense arch in about 20 minutes. I would definitely stay here next time I come to Paris. The staff was very friendly and they had no problem with me using english or putting my luggage up while I toured Paris until my room arrived. They had a few conferences going on while I was there, but there was zero noise on my floor all times of the day.

Interno dell'hotel molto carino, hall molto grande, buona accoglienza e camere tranquille e silenziose.

Not like you can move the hotel but it's in a pretty bad location. It took us a while to find the hotel, it was a loooooong ways from Paris and it was no frills. That being said the price was good for what we got. I was pleased, though in the future I'll probably spend a bit more to be closer to Paris.

I would like to warn fellow travellers that is is dangerous to book in this hotel, if you are travelling with family. We arrived around midday in the vicinity of the hotel and it took us more than an hour to find the entrance! There is no operational lift to get to the reception area. The staircase is rather long (almost 2 stories) and once I arrived alone at the reception to ask, how we could come with our bags, we were told that there is NO LIFT and we have to bring our bags ourselves!! I haven't seen any other place where the staff treaded guests so badly. This was the most unwelcome experience in any hotel we travelled!!

We requested a quite room on the online booking form. Our room was quite, initially, until 3 busloads of south italian school kids were placed in the remaining rooms on our floor. After indicating our discomfort, the hotel manager gave us immediately another room in the renovated part of the hotel which was nicer and also bigger than the initial room. And we were invited a bottle of wine as an excuse. The rooms and the service exceeded our expectations.

We'd recommend this hotel. Previous reviews were a little off putting but now realise people perhaps too fussy. Wary of things going missing from previous reviews simply carry valuables or deposit so no issue. Staff were polite and helpful. Ideally situated for RER and straight through to Disney if it's your need. Unfortunately, Nanterres falls out of metro zone so you have to pay extra 1.6 E each way to connect and can add up with family. Eating areas around good value, pizza, chinese, turkish kebab, tend to close early especially weekend. Hotel is good place to sleep and use as base as not much in way of entertainment or facilities. Seems to cater for travelling bus parties and seemed quiet most nights on return. Hotel restaurant looked good but never ate in. A quick trip down metro to Defense and you have Quarter Temps huge shopping mall outside, loads of shops and eating places.

Its an average hotel, close to the metro which is a plus. The staff was quite crude, on our arrival we found out that our room was not ready. We arrived quite later then the actual check-in time and were quite tired and wanted to be in our room. The staff wasn't really apologetic about it and it took them about 45 minutes to give us our room!! Upon our check out the receptionist tried to charge us more and when we pointed out that error he was really pissed off and upset. He did refund us our money but not happily! Its an OK hotel for sleeping!

Ottimo rapporto prezzo/servizi. Camera ben disposta, pulita. L'entrata esterna dell' HTL non e' segnalata molto bene causa scala mobile guasta.

I came here with 3 friends for a long weekend. We all found that this hotel was really good quality. Amazing value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremelly friendly. The facilities were great. Nearby there was many restaraunts; including a pizzeria and a chinese which i would recommend. Supermarkets and pharmecies, small shops etc. were also extremelly near by. There was also a market in La Defense on the Friday. The metro was also extremelly near , where you can easily access all the sights of Paris. The metro station was called Nanterre Prefecture, practically on the hotel's doorstep. Would definatly return, and recommend to friends.

the hotel is situated near the metro station which is very convenient for traveling to the city. There are some local shops right out of the station where you can buy some food and drink (only in day time). However it is very quiet at night, and it took us some time to look for the hotel since there were nobody around to ask for direction. The escalator that goes up to the first floor to get to the hotel was out of order during the time we stayed so we had to climb up the stairs all the time.

We were somewhat disappointed with the decor of the room we were given. The facilities were very basic, not worth the cost and this is not a 3 star hotel by any means. We thought that breakfast at 11 Euros was not good value despite the children getting free breakfast. This was for a Continental selection. The hotel is very convenient for getting to Disney as the RER is just down the road. Good for getting into central Paris also. We parked in the wrong car park initially as we found the Hotel difficult to drive to and had to ask where to put our car.6 Euros to stay in the hotel carpark was very acceptable however. The area late at night does seem a bit suspect, however we arrived back from Disney quite late and was able to get a good pizza and wine from a local restaurant. We took this back to the hotel. We also got breakfast from the local supermarket. Much cheaper than the minimal continental breakfast at the hotel. If the facilities were to be a little more acceptable, I would recommend this hotel, however I keep some reservation about that

The service quality of the frontoffice employees was more than poor. I would expect a little bit of friendlyness or at least politeness. But even politeness was not possible at this frontoffice: We waited about ten minutes while the employees were chatting about private stuff. CheckingIn in english was also too much to be asked for. But something I really can accept is making fun about the guests, while they are still at the desk - this is a NOGO in all the hotels I've ever been.

We use this hotel for tourism. The hotel is near the RER A station. With RER A it is possible go in Paris (15 minutes) and to go Dysneland Paris(1 hour). None attraction is near the hotel, but two PIZZERIE are present near it. During the week-end the hotel offer the possibility to park the car in the near parking at 5,00 euro (2 days) and so it is a good and cheap solution. This was one of the last cheap options possible because we wanted to be in Paris around New Year. The hotel is located in a business area, the hotel does not look nice or cosy, the surroundings are really dull, almost depressing, especially when the weather is gray and it rains. But the RER connection to the center is very good and fast, and I did not plan to stay at the hotel for long anyway. Altogether is was all i expected, just a very good affordable option. One thing to complain about, I wanted to use the internet terminal, and this facility is really not up to 2007 standards (even not to 2000 standards!). Its old and expensive to use.

I WENT ON AN OFFICE WORK.THE PEOPLE IN THE RECEPTION AND IN THE RESTAURANT WERE NICE. ABOVE ALL WHEN I INFORMED ABOUT AN ERROR IN THE PAYMENT BEING CHARGED TWICE BY MISTAKE THEY RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY CORRECTING THE MISTAKE. ONLY ONE REQUEST THAT LITTELE MORE ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSONNEL WOULD MAKE THE STAY GOOD. I WISH THEM ALL THE BEST AND MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Pretty much a no-nonsense hotel in the outskirts of Paris. It's a feasible option even if you're in Paris during the day since the connection with RER is fast; but Nanterre Prefecture at night is a little grim, and you won't want to return there during the day from sightseeing. Rooms OK and clean, nothing romantic about it at all, and you get woken up in the morning by the garbage trucks. But altogether good value.
