Small and strange room; the toilet was on a kind of mezzanine so I could see my bed when sitting on the toilet.

As soon as we arrived to the hotel, the bathrooms of both of our two rooms were dirty: there were head and pubic hairs on the toilet and the sink. Gross! It was evident that the cleaning person did a sloppy job on them. As we raised the issue with reception and showed them the bathrooms, their first reaction was of denial, they "didn't see" anything. So we decided to go out to dinner and let them solve the problem in the meantime, as housekeeping by then was already gone for the day. Upon our return, we found no hairs in the bathrooms and decided to stay. As for the rest, we got very small rooms, no place to lay the luggages; the stink of smoke was everywherel, we could even smell our neighbours cigarettes smoke as we kept our window open all the time. We don't know if the smoke came from next door or from the window directly opposit to ours, but we could reach at arms lenght. In fact, we also had a very terrible view of the inside facade of the building. We could hear anything from the adjacent rooms, very embarassing also knowing that we could be heard. The property is very old, it must be a building of 100 years of age which could be understood in Paris, but it is not kept fresh and clean for its clientele. Our room in particular, nr. 54, was at the 5th floor, the top one, therefore the ceiling was very low, which together with the extremely small size of the room, was suffocating. We couldn't change rooms as the hotel was fully booked. The shower in the bathtub had no protection, completely open, so every time we took a shower there would be a pond on the floor and we were forced to cover it up with towels in order to be able to walk on it. Breakfast was limited to some croissants, bread rolls, bad coffee, oranje juice, cereal and jam. We were very disappointed that we had to pay 125 Euros for that hotel, especially for our room!

The price quoted on the internet misinformed us regarding additional taxes per person per night, plus tax on the end bill. We ended up paying considerably more for the room than we had budgeted for. On arrival, we weren't shown to our room, breakfast arrangements were not given to us in terms of times, location menu etc. Every morning we were woken up at 6am due to building work next door to our room. We didn't feel the hotel staff were approachable enough to ask if we can change rooms.

A bijou hotel with very welcoming staff in an ideal situation. Breakfast area very small and suffers from congestion at popular times. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped if a little small but with so much to do in Paris not much time is spent in your room.

If your trip would be a petit paris visit , the hotel must be Okey. Instead over estimating is too dangerous to do hope romantic paris stay. This time I decided to stay this hotel concerning to the price and the place. It was buissiness trip so I could say everything is sufficient.

The location is very good! The room in which we stayed was very small and it's not enough to open two suitcase. The walls in the room are thin, so I was disturbed the noise from the other rooms.

Staff is very good and helpful. Rooms are small but clean. Very charming hotel with excellent rates. I suggest you get a better breakfast. Only one choice of cereal, no juice. It could be better.
