Good situation, nice hotel, welcoming employees BUT,( and the "but" is very important when you are travelling on business), the internet connexion was not working : I could not check my emails and so on.... I spent 1 hour with the employee to resolve the problem to discover in fact that the connexion of the hotel was not in service.... Very disappointing and a big waste of time !

Hello, It is nice hotel to stay for short time. Located in central part of town, close to many sights, metro, shops, railway stations. Employees are different, one good example - young girl who informed us well on everything we need and seemed to be happy to help us, other employees were no more than just friendly. Room was small, but it's common in France. It smelled strange a little in corridors and in fridge, but ok. Shower cabin IS ONLY FOR SKINNY (narrow). Safe in the closet was always beating my head when i bent for something and it took precious space. I couldn't use free wifi (don't know why but connection could not be established), and bought Orange wifi witch worked fine in room.

Internet access in rooms was very poor. I could not send email messages. The name Tulip hotel /hotel Marciano is confusing. I registered for Tulip hotel, but there was no sign on the hotel saying "Tulip" hotel. Please use only one name in all your information.

CAREFUL - BED BUGS!! On arrival, the staff were very helpful and friendly. On our first morning out, the staff member on duty was very friendly and assisted in our route planning; providing maps and information. We departed the hotel early in the morning and arrived back late (00:30). However, travelling in a group of seven people, we all had different challenges with the hotel. Airconditioners were faulty, reported and not repaired. Television remotes & aircon remotes were missing from some rooms - being summer it was very hot at night. Also, various people complained about being bitten by bed bugs!! I myself, have more than 15 bytes on each of my arms alone - not mentioning the rest of my body!!!! When mentioning this to this front desk on the Sunday morning, it was just shrugged off as a rare occasion that nothing could be done about!! The hotel was well situated, priced and eventhough the rooms were small, they were comfartable and seemed clean. On our return, I had to consult a pharmacist, get medication and a cream to aid the bytes. Almost two weeks later I still have marks all over my body!! What seemed to be good accommodation to start off with, changed into a bad-bed-bug experience!

The air conditioning didn´t work; the bottle machine and coffe machine didn´t work. The recepcionist was not sympathic, arrogant and sounded always bored to seak with clients. The room was noisy and small. I don´t reccomend.

The hotel was relatively good in terms of cleanliness and location, even services. however, my trip was ruined by the shuttle bus reservation service made by the reception girl Yanis. She made a call in front of me making a shuttle service to CDG at 18:30 on 20th May, however, the shuttle bus was not coming until 19:00,my flight will close check-in at 20:00. While the recception lady on duty that day called the shuttle company, they said they didn't receive any reservation from Tulip Inn. And then the lady called Yanis. It seemed that she understood what happened. She made a phone call and then 10mins later, a car was coming and took us to the airport. It is a private car, when we arrived, the courier charged me 60 euros, rather than the previous 30 euro. I am very angry by not informing us in advance, and forced me to take the private veihcle. That is very bad.

We were very satisfied as quality vs. price was appropriate. The only thing about "cleanliness" - the personell did it work really very well, but carpets are very old - so it spoils feeling of cleanliness. Overall really ok and personell very polite. Thank you.

This was our first time at Hotel Tulip Inn Marciano Hotel. Hotel is very close to METRO station CADET, it was more than easy to find it, 15 min walk to OPERA. Employees were very nice and professional. The breakfast is served in the hotel, but we did not take it (price is 12 euros). The room was small, especially the bathroom. But, we had no problem with that. Generaly, we were satisfied with the room. Only, the cleaness ofthe bathroom should be better.

Do yourself a favour and don't stay there There is hardly any maitenance to the rooms. We had 2 rooms and both our rooms' air-conds were not working. We complained but fallen into deaf years. Carpet were not vacumned and poor housekeeping. Although the bathrooms were quite clean but they were very very small. Now I understand why they never show a photo of their bathrooms on their website. We checked out the hotel Pax Opera just opposite the room. Pls stay there. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were spacious.

Excellent modern Hotel with great value for money. Close to many amenities - bars, cafe's, shops, metro station. While others have mentioned size of the bathroom, yes it was small however, it was very new and modern and clean which made up for that! Very friendly and helpful multi-lingual reception staff. No complaints! A+

The hotel was a great find for the price. It's small, but to be expected when in Paris. One of the only problems was that there was a very questionable white stain on the bedspread when we first arrived in the room. The bedspread and sheets weren't changed the entire time we were there and both were a little disgusting. Other than that the stay was great. It's very close to the metro and the staff was very nice/helpful.

I was very pleased with this hotel. It was close to a train station, not far from tourist attractions, walking distance to shopping, and there plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. The hotel itself was very nice. Although the room was relatively small, and the bathroom very small- as expected in Paris anyway - it was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, and had friendly staff who helped us get wherever we wanted. I would definitely stay in this hotel again on my next trip to Paris.

This was an excellent hotel for the price. Well located to the Metro and tourist sites, a very large room, comfortable bed and charming English-speaking reception staff. A couple of black marks: the heater didn't work (although the room was already warm enough); and the noise from construction work on the street would have been negated by double-glazing. This should be standard for a 3 star classified hotel.

I may be being unfairly harsh but: the rooms and surroundingse were giood just next to cadet metro station and a either a short train into a town or walk to the big shopping malls. the main thing that lets the tulip down os service, there simply isn't any. the stuff were unhelpful and seemed to sit in the lobby watching videos on youtube all day.

Honestly, if you are looking for a place to stay that is central and cheap, and you plan on being out walking around all day, this is not a bad place. In terms of front desk personnel, there are a wide range of characters, some are more qualified than others. But overall not the most professional ones. With regards to the room, it has a decent bathroom and the room is just OK. Even a little on the dirty side perhaps since I was itching a little in bed. Oh, remember to ask for the key if you would like to use the ironic "electronic" safety box in your room because apparently none of them works w/o the key. I most likely won't stay here again unless I am looking for a cheap bargain.

We recently stayed at his hotel, in August, for a short city break and a trip to Euro Disney. The location was excellent, with a tube (metro) stop and a bus stop just across the road. Also, a main bus station and train station was only a 15 minute walk away so it proved to be very easy to get around. The hotel staff spoke good English and were helpful in giving directions to Euro disney via the metro and the train. It was quiet at night in the hotel with good soundproofing which keep out the traffic noise. The air-conditioning in the rooms worked all time and there was a well stocked mini-bar. The area felt safe and had banks/cash-points close to the hotel, plus plenty of places to eat, which included Italian, Greek, traditional French and even a MacDonalds. We would stay at this hotel again and it was good value for money.

There was written Parking (covered) Available. I wrote specificately that I need the parking. When I arrived, the receptionist said me that they have not Parking, just there was an agreemente with a Parking (400-500 mt) for 20 € per 24 hours. But this agreement, she said, is not more available. She said you can go there but the price probably would be 25-30 €. I reality parking charged only 15 €. But the Sunday was closed, and I had to leave the car on the street. Other things was ok, But I have been very disappointed about parking.

This is a standard Paris Hotel, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are small, this one had the smallest bathroom in the world. But it paris on a budget! room did have AC which was a shock. The Location is great, this was 3rd trip to paris this year, and the opera area is good for getting anywhere

It was my first time we visited Paris and we liked a lot this hotel. it's on a very safe and quiet place, you can rest with out being interrupted, the breakfast it good and the personel is very helpfull. I thought that 'cause of the price (+100 Euro per night) we'll have a much bigger room, but I guess that, as it's near Opera, you won't find a better and cheaper place to stay. I recommend it!!

I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone. the clerk overcharged my credit card and when I tried to use the calling card on the phone, the night clerk told me to go outside and use the pay phone 11:00 PM at night. Requested a wake up call 2 times and did not get it. This hotel does not deserve to be rated as 3 stars. The room especially the bathroom was nasty.

This was an excellent hotel. The welcome was very good and the staff at the front desk very helpful with suggestions about where to eat and what to do. The room was small, but comfortable and well decorated. The room was sound proof. The hotel located a short walk from the opera and right on Rue Lafayette with a Metro station close by. We will definately stay here again provided the price does not increase too much.

The location of the hotel is good and in surrounding area you will find a lot of restaurants. For Asian visitors, you will find some Chinese and Japanese foods.
