Its conveniently located, just 5 mins from the Metro station, Room is toooooo small, No AC, Very hot, Extreemly noisy outside, No body carries your bagage to the room & they gave us a room on the 3rd floor & had to carry all the baggages up on the steep spiral steps. WC is extreemly small & impossible to shower, u will keep knoocking your elbows or head to the wall while showering, cant bend if the toiletry falls down & u want ot pick it up, water clogs in the bathroom. In all its not value for money.

We found the room very clean and adequate for the price and our needs. We were facing the street so it was quite noisey into the wee hours of the morning and due to the heat at the time we were in Paris, we had to leave the window open. It would have been nice to have had a fan in the room since there was no air conditioning.

Clean hotel, great value for price -- adequate sized room and bathroom/shower -- very comfortable bed. No lift and noisy at night/early morning, but good central location. Friendly and helpful staff.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hippodrome. At all times the staff we courteous, very pleasant with a willingness to assist. They also gave a couple of helpful hints on how to keep our valuables safe when out sightseeing. Overall our stay was very pleasurable

On a quiet side street, just a short walk from the Place de Clichy which offers lots of restaurants and bars. Staff were very helpful. Rooms clean if a little basic. Overall a good choice for the money.

This hotel is in Pigalle, not Montmartre. Red curtains and carpet had a bordello-feel, but the room was clean and friendly. The staff were nice - really this hotel was everything it should be for the price. Not the nicest, but a good price.

A charming little hotel. The staff was sweet and helpfull. It felt like home and you almost forgot to lock the door. Both the area and the hotel is good if you bring children. We will be back.

The problem with this hotel was the lack of space and the appointment of the room and toilet facilities. The bed linen was clean but the walls badly needed redecorating. I find it hard to see where the hotel had a 2 star rating. On the positive side the staff was excellent and most friendly, the location of the hotel was good and overall I have a good memory of Paris. I.F.and R.F.

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean - but incredibly small. This wasn't the main issue though - both rooms really needed to be decorated properly. Overall, for the money we spent it was good value, but very disappointing in terms of decor. They had also put us on 3rd floor, up a spiral staircase and my mother in law was over 80! We had notified them of her age. Location was good - nice restaurants nearby - some adult shops though, if you're prudish.

Some minor noice from a homeless man, sleeping on the street just outside the hotel window, and some problems with the outlet from the shower. But in all other aspects it was just fine! The room was nice and clean, the staff is very nice, the price is low and the room was remarkable quiet in spite of the good location close to Place Clichy. We had no problem with noice from trafic or anything else. We were two parents and two teenagers, stayed for four nights. Can definitely recommend this hotel.

The woman at the reception spoke no english and when leaving we had a problem with the bill where a credit card number was needed, this is very difficult to get with no english being spoken whatsoever! Rooms were cute and homely, great location...2 mins from moulin rouge! Had a great time.

Excellent location, clean and cheap accommodation. I would definately recommend. My only gripe is that one of the four mornings there was no hot water.

I have been in Paris many times and I always disciver new things and new places to see. It is a beutiful cosmopolitan city. I enjoy it very much though my time was really short to profit of the beautiful weather, since I was in an official mission and my time was taken by meetings in different research institutions and universities.

My stay was pleasant, the only downside was the lack of WIFI for computer even though it was advertised as available. The staff were capable and pleasant and it was a good visit overall

The Hippodrome Montmartre has, as one expects in Paris, very small rooms. In addition, the outside street can sometimes be noisy at night (happened once during my stay over 4 nights). However, that is due to the fact that the hotel is in one of the most interesting districts in Paris -- the Montmartre district. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They directed me to a delicious chocolatier and an excellent place to eat nearby. In addition, the surrounding area is full of restaurants, cafes, and bistros. Moreover, the hotel is right by the Place de Clichy Metro stop, which is for two different lines that are great at connecting you to different parts of the city.

The location , just off the Place du Clichy is ideal as a base for anyone wanting cheap clean accommodation with easy access to all areas of Paris. As well as the Metro, several of the bus routes stop within yards of the hotel. Our only qualm was that the fittings were a bit rickety with both towel rail and shower head falling off the wall.Needed a good DIYer.

Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole weekend. L'albergo è accogliente, posizionato in un buon posto e ben servito dai mezzi di trasporto pubblici. Più che buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Very enjoyable stay. Near to the metro and not too far off a main road so no worries at night. Our room looked on to the road and we had the windows open so there was no noise. It was April so there was no problem with heat. The bathroom was small but very clean and fresh looking. The loo seat was wobbly but you got used to it. Some of the electrical points looked a bit wobbly but we were able to use hairdryers etc ok. The breakfast was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was always staffed even late at night which was reassuring. We would definitely stay there again

A very clean and comfortable hotel providing an excellent quality of accommodation for the price. Stairs are steep and narrow but this is typical of this grade of Parisian hotel. The hotel is very well situated for the Metro and Montmartre.

We had a great stay at Hotel Hippodrome, it was in a great location and walking distance to the Sacre Coeur. The staff were really friendly and they even had a resident rotweiller! The only thing that may bother some people is that it is fairly noisy at night. We didn't mind though, it was part of the atmosphere for us.

This Hotel is in a very good location right around the corner from Place de Clichy, subway, shopping possibilities as well as bars and restaurants, to the other side Moulin Rouge (5 min walk)or Sacre Coeur (15-20 min walk uphill) with a terrific view over the city. The rooms were pretty small, just like in many other hotels in Paris but they were clean, we had a good service and always got directions to the places we wanted to see. Next time in Paris we will come back there.
