Hélios Opéra (Emeraude hotel) - Paris

Cute hotel in a decent location near the Opera and big department stores. Decent transportation options. Spent more for a deluxe room, which was still on the small side (for 2 people), although it had a cute terrace (which would have been nicer if it wasn't raining). Price was a bit high for the quality, but this is likely more a function of the Paris hotel market. Some staff was very friendly, others were more distant. WiFi is free, although it wasn't working reliably the first day and staff couldn't really do anything. Next day it was fine and actually pretty fast.

The hotel was very clean and welcoming. Rooms were small, though bathroom good size and modern, nothing unusual for European cities, though the value was very good. Location is excellent near Opera (Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus Stop)with shopping, Montmarte, Louvre and Notre Dame within easy walking distance.

We really liked this place. We were upgraded to a superior room on arrival. That was much bigger than the room we expected and had a balcony complete with table and chairs. Breakfast not included and a little expensive for what it was(€12 for continental buffet). Internet access also very expensive(€5 for 30 mins). Overall great hotel great location. Would stay again.

Excellent location for Mogador Theater. Nice, quiet and clean, but small rooms.

This hotel room, although small, was spotless and kept clean everyday by the maid service. Coffee is available in the room and the breakfast buffet was very good. EVERYBODY was extremely helpful, especially when it came time for directions. The staff even ordered shuttle service for us to go to the airport. English is spoken and I can say, without a doubt, that the staff was always very helpfuland went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

This hotel is overpriced. Internet connection was also too expensive.

Two minutes by walk from Opera, and Metro, of course.

LOVELY HOTEL IN A GREAT POSITION, 3 MINUTES FROM THE GALLERIES SHOPPING, RECEPTION STAFF VERY HELPFULL, ROOMS SMALL BUT ADEQUATE AND TASTEFULLY DECORATED WOULD RECOMMENT TO OTHERS.

An excellent hotel - clean, quiet, very welcoming and excellent location. Can't say much about the food as we didn't eat there, and the bar is tiny, but if you are looking for a base from which to explore Paris I don't think you could ask for anything more.

Really enjoyable stay. Great location, close to Galleries Lafyette and the Opera Garnier. Tube station 5 mins walk. Hotel was clean comfortable and well equipped. Deserves 4 stars!! Definatley reccommed this hotel.
