When we arrived, our room wasn't hoovered. We didn't like the fact that it was very old. The location and employees on the other hand were excellent.

The worse thing vas at the welcoming: the very bad smell of smoke of the room.

the photographs on the web site were totally incorrect there was no reception area, no public room to sit in on an evening. Our room was supposed to be superior it was a box with an mfi wardrobe. Totally over priced and very disappointing. Most of the staff were ok but one in particular was supposed to order the airport shuttle did not so we had to leave and waited at the airport four hours before the flight because of his incompetance. Overall very disappointing and will not be returning

Very small double room compared to expectation (and photographs) Noisy room from neighbours (despite not being on street) Cigarette smoke in to room in middle of night from neighbours No clear fire evacuation instructions or lighting?

My friend and I were very lucky to have found Hotel France Louvre. Excellent location (close to a metro station which is very very convenient), clean and tidy rooms, and the staff was kind and helpful in terms of directing us to the places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when I go to Paris again!

Friendly stuff, extremely small (bath)rooms, not very quiet, central localization

Very basic hotel. Clean and affordable. Most importantly it's in the middle of everything. Location is perfect. Walking distance home in the evenings from most of central Paris nightlife. Recommended

Hotel was clean and employee was helpful, but the room was tiny. Good restaurants and shopping naerby. Hotel is OK, simply overpriced for what it is.

economy price rooms and we got what we paid for, however it was even smaller than what we expected. our room was quiet because it was not facing the street side, but it was facing the walls and windows of neighboring buildings, therefore was a bit depressing.

Not too bad overall, but the cost is entirely due to the location, very central and nice. The hotel itself is pretty basic and my room was small, with a single bed. I can't comment on breakfast because I never had it in the hotel and - btw - breakfast is not even included in the price! For about 120 Euros per night, could they not include a cup of coffee, at least? A comment for Venere: Your questionnaire does not allow respondents to skip a question or two. Sometimes - like in this case - when my hotel experience was very limited (no breakfast, very little contact with staff, only 2 nights there) it is impossible to evaluate a property, and I end up guessing (in the middle, normally). Why don't you allow a "don't know" or "not applicable" option? It would make reviews much more reliable.

The room was very small. The bathroom clean and new but the carpet, bedspread and curtains very dirty. A room without a view and the smell of the kitchen came into the room.

Breakfast was served 2 floors under ground level, and we found the breakfast somewhat expensive (12 euros). A nearby bakery had excellent pastries, so we enjoyed that instead. The location is brilliant!

Although convenient to places of interest, the room was much too small and rather shabby. The photos were deceptive. Inspite of the disappointment at the size and condition of the room, the employees were warm and quite helpful. The breakfast room was a pleasant surprise, and the breakfast one of the best in our journey.

Great position, friendly, helpful bilingual staff.Room was smallish with twin bed set-up but comfortable with good clean linen, and fresh towels. Breakfast buffet with lots of choices, open later than most hotels offer which suits the late riser.

Location was great. Walking distance to everything and fun neighborhood at night. Pictures on the website are COMPLETELY misleading. No surprises with the pricing which was good. Ask for a room facing the street- it would have to be quieter than the one on the facing the other building with pigeons "cooing" all night and a neighbor's nonstop smokers cough. Overall, I've stayed in nicer hostels. It was not worth the 100 euros I paid.

The room I was assigned to ,did not have air conditionning ,it cost E 91.50 ,it was the only hotel in my whole travel,I stayed at 10 different hotels ,at that price and even less all of them had air conditioning. When I asked for a room with air conditionning ,I was told that I would have to pay E 104.

We only stayed at the Hotel for 1 night and wished it could be longer. The room and bathroom were spacious - a bit run down but very clean. The Hotel is situated close to the Bastille, Picasso museum, and numerous small shops and Restaurants. There are 2 bus stops in front of the Hotel that connect you with about any area you would like to go to. The staff at reception are extremely helpful and friendly and speak English. Excellent value for the price!

Great location, even closer to Notre Dame & Metro than what is on the map. Excellent & very accommodating staff. Room is small as expected of Paris. Bathroom was tiny but very clean. Has world's tiniest elevator but at least it has one & working well. Recommended for the budget conscious traveler. You can't ask for a better location!

This is more of a hostel than a hotel, and unless you desire snide service and zero amenities, you're likely to prefer alternate accommodations.

Very nice and clean hotel just in the middle of Paris ((Marais). No need to take the Metro! The Notre Dame is just around the corner. Breakfast is like in all Paris city hotels expensive and very moderate. You better go to the next cafe bar. I would certainly go here again!

L'appunto più rilevante si pùò fare solo per il livello della portineria che mi è sembrata poco attenta alle esigenze e alle richieste minime di assistenza verso l'ospite.

Excellent location for dining and attractions. Small but clean room. Refrigerator in room. Rooms with windows overlooking street are quite noisy but with the window closed the soundproofing is good. Elevator is barely big enough for two people.

The rooms in the hotel were very small but that is to be expected. Standard of cleanliness and facilities very high. The location could not be better, close to the louvre, Notre Dame, place de vogue and right on the tour bus route.

A very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The staff was quick to respond to requests. The only problem was that we did not receive messages left for us at the hotel. Overall I was very pleased and would stay at the hotel on my next visit to Paris.
