Hotel France Albion - Paris

This is a nice hotel very much off the tourist track in a real neighborhood. We loved the little shops, the kids going to school, and the absence of other tourists. The flip side is that it's not especially convenient to the tourist sites, but easy enough on the Metro. It's pretty expensive for a small room in an out-of-the-way location, but we were glad we stayed there, mainly because of the neighborhood.

We found the France Albion a friendly place to stay, well positioned with bakery, supermarket, close by. Easy to get about with buses and metro stops close by. Clean and cheerful surroundings and although our room was pretty tiny it was perfectly adequate since Paris is for exploring not staying indoors.

I stayed in a small room for one person. It was a little bit small, but it was rather cozy. The only probleme is the shower space, which is very small, where I had to pay much attention to not spread water around in the bathroom. Even with this problem of bathroom, I had a agreable stay in hotel Albion. The location is rather practical to go around in Paris, and all the staff were kind and competent. I would return to this hotel in the next stay in Paris.

Better value than expected. They found a solution for an unexpected reservation trouble later on in another higher level hotel nearby upon our arrival with no extra charge. To be recomended.

The room were quite bright although a little on the small side, the bathroom was fully equipped and very clean. Breakfast was fairly expensive and the room did lack tea and coffee making facilities. However the staff were always happy to help and the overall experience was a good one.

I am delighted to write a comment for this charming hotel, it was excellent, but I must single out the staff for their helpfulness and kindness during our stay. On our first night in Paris I lost my mobile phone, I left it on the seat of the taxi and just as I arrived at the reception desk I discovered the phone missing, as we had hailed a taxi from Port Maillot we didnt have a number however this didnt stop the kind young man behind the desk trying his best for me he used his own mobile phone to try and ring my phone he also sent a text message in French to my phone should someone find it, needless to say I didnt get my phone. The following day a new member of staff at reception a very helpful and friendly young lady kindly typed up a letter for me in French to take to the Police station as I was advised by my phone company that I would need a police report, this made my visit to the police station so easy. I can only say that I will be recommending this hotel to anyone I know that is travelling to Paris and needless to say I will be back.

As most hotel in Europe, this hotel is expensive compared with others in the same category in others countries, good located but you must pay if you want to use wi fi net, no breakfast included in the price (120 euros per night), no Frigidaire in the room. I think that for 120E per night should be best choices ( sorry for my english)

Very nice hotel for the price, the staff were welcoming, helpful and cheerful. The hotel itself looked very nice both outside and in, the rooms were tidied daily to a high standard and the breakfast included was good value, though it regularly ran out of certain items and the staff did not seem to top them up without being asked. The view was not really existent (a courtyard at the back) but this didn't bother us. The location was good (close to quite a few resteraunts), it was on a relatively quiet road. I think that the staff sometimes were quite loud in the corridoors when talking to each other on other floors.

The Hotel has a very good location, near two metro stops. It's convenient to most of Paris North of the river. The rooms are SMALL and a bit noisy but I'd stay there again.

Decent hotel, small room (typical, it seems, of small hotels in Europe). Maybe a little too high priced considering the location and size of the room.

Very good value. We had a twin room which faced the street. It was a bit loud when the windows were open, but fine with the windows closed. The room was a bit small (not unusual for Paris). My only complaint was no drawer space. The bathroom was quite large with a good shower. I would stay here again.

Quel belle découverte et si près de l'activité grouillante de Montmartre avec ses cafés, ses merveilleux petits bistros et ses boulangeries! Le service offert par les gens travaillant à la réception est vraiment très bon, fait avec une bonne humeur et les renseignements toujours très précis. Dès que je retourne à Paris, c'est certain que nous habiterons à nouveau à cet hôtel!
