The main problem during my stay was that hot water was unavailable, making for some very cold showers. I assume it was fixed the next day, but it was a problem. The front desk people were wonderful, and very helpful.

The room was OK for the price, but the shower was very strange; no curtains (to an outside area); nothing to catch splash water (after a shower the entire bathroom is a swimming pool); shower could only be held in the hand, so the only option was to take a bath, which I don't prefer to do in a hotel.

The nearest underground station is Monceau (line 2), a 5-minute walk from the property.

By train
From Gare de Lyon railway station, take underground line 1, direction La Défense, and step off at Charles de Gaulle-Étoile. Change onto line 2, direction Nation, and get off at Monceau.
From Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est railway stations, take underground line 4, direction Porte de Clignancourt, and get off at Barbès Rochechouart, then change onto line 2, direction Porte Dauphine, and step off at Monceau.

By airplane
From both Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, take RER line B to Gare du Nord, then walk through the underground hallways to La Chapelle station, take underground line 2, direction Porte Duphine, and get off at Monceau.
