Even for a 'tourist' hotel, this is a very loud facility. I reserved a room for three nights, upon early arrival no rooms were ready and so I returned later to find that the only room available to me was situated immediately behind the front desk, and quite noisy all through the night. (The phone was broken as well, so I could not telephone the desk to complain.) The next morning at 8:00, magically, a room upstairs was available (was is ready all night?) but proved almost as noisy from nearby neighbors. Interestingly, the Metro #6, which is elevated on Garibaldi, is not at all disruptive and very convenient, as is the #10; both have stations nearby.
