Hotel Eiffel Segur - Paris

Nice cosy hotel but very small room. The room could hardly fit a double bed. But still good location near two metro stations, quite area and good housekeeping providing clean atmosphere.

Hotel is a good 20 min walk from tourist attractions. The area around hotel has nothing to offer as far as restaurants.Just generally not in a good area. Hotel rooms not at all sound proof you could hear when someone was coming up or down the stairs and closing room doors. Breakfast was down in the basement it was your typical free breakfast. Be carefull if you need transportation to the Eurostar station. Hotel said they had a contract with a private taxi agency for 25- when we were picked up the taxi charged 30- Rip off since it was only a 20 min ride. If you can afford it I would stay elsewhere.

A basic hotel but mostly clean and tidy with good access to Paris. Nice decor and good sized rooms.

Convenient location for Gare Montparnasse. Comfortable if a bit spartan. Hotel staff welcoming and efficient.

At checkout we were asked to pay a city tax. The hotel receptionist was adament that we would have been told about this and had to pay it. None of the correspondence form Venre or the website mentions this charge.

It's clean, calm and placedin a quite convenient place at a reasonable price

The price was too expensive for the size of the twin bed room; no space for placing a suit case and you pratically can jump to bed from the door way. It was very nosie when other guests walking up and down the staircase in the early morning and late at night. The street where the hotel located is very dark at night, quite creepy although only 2 stations away from the Eiffel tower.

We stayed in a triple room for three days. The room was quite alright but a bit on the small side for three people. The service from employees at the reception was very good. The hotell is conviniately located between two metro stops in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the Eifell Tower and walking distance to the Hotel des Invalides.

When ever I went to reception, the girl usually had one desk 'phone on each ear. Therefore, there was always a long wait to for attention. Inspite of this constant pressure on the receptionist, she was always well disposed to me, the customer.

The only thing that really could have been better, is that I sent the Hotel a Fax with 3 questions 3 days before arriveval and never got an answer on those questions. It would be nice to atleast get a respond that they have recieved the fax, if not possible to answer the questions. It would also be better if the Hotel would include breakfast in the price or atleast make a note of how much to pay extra. The employees working in the Hotel are very friendly and helpful, and I am sure I will come back for another stay in the future.
