Our room (31) appeared to have recently been refurbished and looked very good although it did still smell of paint. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was a tight squeeze. Overall the hotel was very pleasing and well located and at the 175euro rate I would stay there again.

Stayed in Paris for 2 nights with my 6 year old daughter taking in a show, Disneyland, Arc de Triomphe etc. Although I paid more than I usually would (€160 per night) the hotel was excellent in all respects. It is in a busy part of Paris, north of the Louvre, extremely well placed with Chatlet Metro about 50m from the hotel. The only slight negative is that it can be a little noisy at night, although this didn't bother us.

The location of Hotel Des Ducs d'Anjou is exceptional. It is in the middle of a variety of cafes, restaurants, and clubs. It is in a primarily gay area and it is such a great neighborhood for going out and having a blast with friends or just for cruising. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The facilities inside the hotel are OK. I did not eat breakfast, so can't comment. The neighborhood is not very nice at all. It is convenient to walk out of the hotel and go 10-20 meters to the Chatelet metro entrance. However, the bars and restaurants in the immediate area leave A LOT TO BE DESIRED. It just isn't a nice localized neighborhood. Lots of wandering drinkers and drunks and the bars are very loud all night. The couple of blocks around the hotel are pizza shops and bars, not cute Parisian locations. I never felt unsafe --- there are just similarly priced hotels that aren't in the same kinds of localized social areas. St. Denis (very nearby) is famous for not being very nice... it is the place of Senoritas de la Noches.

The hotel is in a perfect place (near metro and some important highlights) for a visit to Paris. The street in front is noisy, so a room at the back is preferable. Rooms are clean. Service is very friendly. Breakfast is expensive.

the location was perfect but the hotel services was poor: only one soap and showergel for to persons. The bio breakfast was't bio, only the milk products were. first day there wasn't a phone in the room.

Excellent location.(Superior) room not large but adequate for short stay. Public areas looked a little "tired". Staff and service fine. Ideal for weekend break in the heart of things and so convenient for Metro/sights.

Small (or rather, cosy), clean with new bathrooms in white and terracota, in a great location near the Pompidou and Les Halles, just 30 seconds from the underground train at Chatalet which is a main station with connections. Charming people at the desk too. Definitely one of the better pics if you want a "middle ground" hotel.

The hotel was EXCEEDINGLY difficult for the taxi driver to find (there is no street in front of it). The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was VERY small. The bathtub was wedged into a corner of the room. The front desk was VERY helpful (especially Lora Dinino), and made up for the difficulty in finding the hotel.

Excellent location for tourists and business travelers. Rooms were a lot smaller than it actually appeared on the web. Friendly staff. No shower curtain at the shower booth made me worry for the flooding everytime taking shower.

A pleasant, welcoming hotel. This area of Paris is pricey however, so the rooms are not cheap. The breakfast is expensive, so you might be better off eating a croissant with a coffee at a nearby cafe.

Very good value for money and excellant location. Easy to get to major sites. Easy access from airport on metro. Staff helpful and friendly. No problem in asking to change room to front of hotel although at night front rooms noisy. Definitely would stay there again.

One of cleaning ladies was kind enough to offer an extra blanket and a bed sheet for our duaghter. Location is very excellent: it's 30 sec away from Chatelet subway entrance and 5~15 min walk from Ponpidu, Norte Dam, and Lovre. Only thing that I was not satisfied is that I had asked a twin-bed room but was given a double bed one.

la posizione è ottima, le stanze un po' piccole ma accoglienti e pulite. la metropolitana è proprio sotto l'albergo, la zona è molto carina, ricca di bistrot tipici parigini, e nonostante questo poco rumorosa.

Perfect location, smack in the middle of everything! Rue Lombard lined with bars and gay restaurants stretches from the front door of the hotel into the Marais area. Perfect for the gay tourist. Access to the metro is only 40 meters away. Rooms are small but efficient and showers/bathroom nicely done. We had a 2nd floor room towards the street but no problems with noise, neither from street nor from other rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll stay again if price level remains the same. Note: Most rooms seem to look like the smallest room shown on the web page. The top floor could be the exception with larger rooms.

The location is excellent, but can get loud at 3:30am on a Saturday night. Overall a nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Be aware that the hotel is going through renovations, so the lobby is somewhat drab.
