Hotel Du Vieux Saule - Paris

Enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again. I will also make recommendations to my friends to stay here as well. The room was functional and met all my needs.

Well-appointed hotel in pleasant area with nice neighbourhood cafes and markets. I don't expect anything more than a very small room for < € 100 in Paris but this is the first time I have had a bathroom where there was literally no room for a toilet roll holder! And with greater than average build you would not get into the shower in my single room (really!). That said, the architectural use of the tiny space available was pleasing and I enjoyed my stay.

It has been my first stay at Hotel Du Vieux Saule. I have been favourably impressed by professionalism and courtesy of the staff. The hotel is a kind of masterpiece in terms of interior design, as for the restricted room has been surprisingly exploited. The design is in a satisfactory fashion minimalist.

We stayed in a double room which was spacious and very well decorated. The room service was very sufficient and we had our room cleaned and our towels changed daily. The hotel is suited in a 5min walking distance from Republique metro station which is very convenient. I would prefer the public spaces to be larger.

Perfect hotel for a short stay. we had a double room to the cout yard, very calm, new refurnished, new bathroom, everything of very good quality. Room a bit small, but absolutely ok for a Paris trip when you are mostly in the room for sleeping. Receptionists very nice and helpful, staff nice, we will come back.

Hotel location is excellent with walking proximity to Metro Republique and Aron 3,4. Room 7 is excellent with window to inside atrium garden and close to entry/exit. Staff was cordial and helped greatly with directions and helping me regain my French language skills quickly. Would stay again and recommend. One megative may be expensive internet access. Would like to see a more competitively priced source available. Cordialement.

We had two rooms on the same tariff, one of which has been renovated and the other hadn't. Although small, the renovated room was good value for Paris with an excellent bathroom, new furniture and fresh decoration. The unrenovated room had clean linen and a good bed but the bathroom, furniture and fabric were tired and generally shabby. On request, I was moved to a renovated room which was small but incomparably better than the previous one. In short: good location, helpful staff, make sure you get a renovated room.

This was a beautiful little quaint hotel, but the location was difficult to find and the room and bath very small, especially for the price. Everything was so tiny, we nicknamed it the "dollhouse room". I wouldn't be against staying there again, but may look for better deals, more space/better location, for similar price.

This is a wonderful tiny hotel that offers very small rooms and very good prices. I stayed in a twin single room and it was literally the size of a shoe box. But it didn't matter. Everything inside the room was high quality (except for the foam chip pillow). And the location was perfect!

For a business trip I found this hotel to suit my needs as it was clean, the staff were helpful and the Metro station is quite close to the Hotel. The size of the room, elevator and corridor were tiny! But as I said it was ok for a business trip since i didn't need to spend much time at the hotel.

This was our first trip to Paris. Our stay at the hotel started our trip on a good note. The man at the desk was most helpful and friendly. The hotel was located in a convenient and quiet neighborhood. We definitely would stay at the hotel again and plan to tell our friends about it.

We wanted to try a new neighborhood. We found this hotel comfortable, clean and convenient. We were offered a room that was less expensive than we thought we would have to pay. The room was tiny but the bed was excellent, the shower adequate and the elevator tiny but just fine. Overall, I would return. This is not a luxury hotel and larger people would not be comfortable.
