First time staying at Des Tuileries and I would definitly stay again. Staff was great, rooms were great and the location is fantastic to everything. My room was quaint and the bed was very comfy after a day of touring! Front desk staff were wonderful! I really appreciated that even though our check in time was much later, they accomodated us by allowing us to have our rooms earlier. That was so very nice of them as I did not get a wink of sleep on my flight!! Rooms were very clean and I really liked the simple antique ambiance of it all. The room felt cozy! Location alone-was awesome. So very close to the tuileries jardin, louvre, opera-many cafes etc. and lots of shopping! Easy access to the metro or the bus. The pictures on the website are what you see. I never had the petite dejeuner, just because I enjoyed trying different cafes and the cost was less than at the hotel. There is an elevator that will fit one person. The rooms have a small fridge. Outside could be loud at times-but just shut the window and it pretty much muffled the sound,or get a room facing the courtyard. I really enjoyed coming back to my room at the end of the day. I look forward to my next stay and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel with the reminder that these are european rooms they are not like our north american type rooms-but you are in Paris-enjoy it! Besides I liked the historical aspect of the place too!! It is such a quaint cozy hotel!! I did get the rate from venere which was different than from the hotel, which was a great deal. Merci "Des Tuileries"!!

Hotel des Tuileries was first of all in a wonderful location. From the hotel there were several convenient cafes and a pharmacy. It was also close to a city bus tours location, but more importantly, it was very close to the Louvre, Seine River and the lovely Tuileries park. You could see the Eiffel Tower from this park. We felt incredibly satisfied with the location, which was also very safe, clean and nice. The hotel itself was lovely with a nice petit dejeuner, and very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the first floor which was lucky for us since we were traveling with many very heavy bags. When traveling to europe, Americans must be prepared for very small rooms, so we had this expectation. With this in mind, the room was satisfactory in size. It was small, but fit two comfortable twin beds, a separate closet area and clean bathroom. The shower was nice. The windows were lovely and opened up to the sidewalk with lovely floral baskets hanging beneath them. Since we were right on the street, we did hear the noise of some garbage trucks passing early in the morning, which woke us up. We could also hear some voices from in the hallway and lobby. But there were no noisy partiers or late night walkers that kept us awake. The hotel offered wifi, but it was difficult to get a strong signal anywhere in the hotel. However, when coming back to Paris, we will definitely look for a room at the Hotel des Tuileries again, as it was a very pleasant stay for us.

I was living on the top floor and there was no connection with the Internet in the room, it was necessary to go downstairs to reception area. Also it should be noted rather small room space for living two persons.

To me, the bathroom hardware is a bit old and there were some stains cannot be removed. It looks dirty! There was hair on the towels before I had use them! However, the location of the hotel is superb, it's very convenient and close to main shopping area. Lastly, the hotel staff are very friendly.

The hotel was really well located. Next to the Opera as well as the Louvre. It was relatively quiet. The staff was nice they didn't mind us changing room. We didn't try the breakfast. The only down side was the square footage. Our room was tiny!

I can't beleive that this hotel is rated at a 3star hotel. It needs a major update, it's stuck in the 30century and i'm not overreacting. It was a real disappointment. Be advice that i order a double bed n reicived a full size bed. I personally would never recommed.

The hotel is tucked away on a small, quiet street in a fairly central location. Rooms were a little quirky, but clean enough. Hotel staff at front desk was somewhat abrupt, one was quite rude.

It was quite ok, but the rooms are really small and VERY noicy! As our room was situated towards the street - we could hardly sleep because of traffic! So request a room not on the street side if you want to sleep! But on the good side - the location is perfect!

We arrived at 10:30am, and did not get the room until 1pm. The room we got, was just across the reception, and beside the stairs which went down to the breakfast area. The breakfast was at 7am, so we heard people walking up and down the stairs(nice with women wearing high heels..) Alot of noise during breakfast. The hotel had a very good location, not far from Louvre(5min walk). The day we checked out, we asked the reception to get us a taxi out to Orly Airport in the afternoon. So they did,but it was not a taxi, it was a private car, much nicer than we needed, and the price was 60euros. So we just went out on the street and took a regular taxi, and paid 30euros.

This was the first time in Paris and the first time at Del Tuileries - the location was perfect for walking to just about everything including the little bakery across the street for breakfast food. It was quite noisy in the early morning but overall quiet thru out the night. The room was very small and older (carpet and wall paper not so nice) but the bathroom was spacious and clean. The check-in was very efficient although the gentleman on the desk could use a bit of a personality. We had no issues whatsoever but if you are looking for new and upscale this is not the hotel for you. However, if you like to walk to shops, numerous good restaurants and just about everything else you can imagine, the location is perfect.

This was my first time to Paris. I planned on spending the majority of my time sight-seeing, and little time at the hotel. The hotel was perfect for this type of trip. Location is very close to major attractions (most within easy walking distance), the metro, and many boutiques and restaurants. The Lourve is a short 5 - 10 min. walk. Concorde is another short 5 - 10 min. walk in the opposite direction. The hotel staff was helpful assisting with directions and suggesting places to go. They also stored extra luggage that would not easily fit in the room that I didn't need to access often. The room was small, but comfortable, for the short amount of time spent there.

The location was very close to all the main attractions and to the underground train. The breakfast was NOT included, and VERY expensive( sure not worth the price). The people at the desk changed everyday, so some of them were helpful, some other less helpful.Room was small but clean.oh,they charge you a "vacation fee", that totally makes no sense.

Because it's located in these convinient area, I understand the price. But I'll be happy if it's a little bit cheeper. I noticed that the paint in the room was a little tilted. It's not problem but that shows as the quality of the hotel. So I want them to care about more small things, items.

Les Toileries is a charming hotel. Our standard room was small, as expected but the w.c. was in a sort of 'cupboard' and a bit awkward to negotiate. Presumably it had to be partitioned off as a 3-star requirement, but we would have preferred the area to be 'open-plan'. This did not seriously detract from our enjoyment at staying in a quiet area so close to the Louvre and other attractions.

We had some bad luck with noise - specifically, a car alarm went off in the middle of the night for several hours and a somewhat noisy bar down the street blaring music. Other than noise (which we can tune out but some people can't), the hotel is great and we plan to stay there again on our next trip to Paris.

Would recommend this facility. Rooms are typical European, small. The locations is excellent. The hotel is 2 blocks from a metro station on the #1 line (line that runs through the heart of the historical part of Paris). Within walking distance of the Louvre, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumph etc. Really a great location. The hotel staff speaks English and were helpful and friendly. The only glitch we had was the venere.com reservation included the VAT (tax) in the quoted price but the hotel would not honor that. It was a small amount, only 2 euro per day. Our family will stay here in the future.

The location was ideal for our needs. The hotel was also steeped in character with nicely decorated rooms. My only problem was in the lack of tea / coffee making facilities in the room coupled with restricted room service times. This meant that after an evening out in Paris it proved impossible to get a hot drink until breakfast.

Overall a good hotel, its main attraction is the location, just a 4-5 minute walk and you are standing in the Tuileries gardens, with the Louvre to your left and the Arc de Triumphe on your right. The rooms are clean although fairly small and breakfast good value. We were unlucky with noise from both the street and hotel, but that's the luck of the draw. Overall I'd say good value for this area of Paris.

Little hotel located at very convinient location, just a few blocks from rue de rivoli and Louvre. Average free maps do not report precisely the position of the little road where the hotel is located. Hotel internet service located close to the reception is pretty expensive (9 euro half hour) and not very efficient, I recommend you to use other city's internet cafes.

I had booked a Double High Comfort and the first night they put me in a lower category room on street level with lots of noise around and outside. The day after I asked to be moved to an upper level for a quieter and more spacious room which was just perfect (it corresponded to what I had booked). The employees were very friendly and my stay resulted very positive.

Excellent location in the 1ere arrondisement within walking distance to Louvre, Champs Elysees, Tuileries, and Opera. Also conveniently near Metro stops. We opted for "high comfort" rooms rather than the "standard double" only to find they were not very spacious, a difference we expected as part of "high comfort." We had requested a baby cot for one room, which they had failed to set up. However, they were very quick to remedy this situation. Once the cot was set up we could either not open the room door or alternatively the closet door. We had to move the cot to use the closet, then move it the other way to leave the room. Bathrooms nice, but small. Prices quoted on internet were inaccurate. The "high comfort" room was listed as 140 Euros inclusive of breakfast, but when the hotel confirmed the reservation by email, the price for the "high comfort" room was 155 Euros bed only, 12 Euros per person for breakfast, plus daily tax of .86 Euros per person. We opted to skip breakfast at the hotel as there were plenty of lovely little pastry shops in the neighborhood. The hotel did, however, honor a 20% discount on our rooms, when I produced the Venere.com special internet offer. This late discount of room prices occurred on the Venere.com website after I had confirmed my reservations, but applied to the dates when my family was there. When I first asked about a discount on rooms, the reply was "there is no discount." However, once I showed the Venere.com printout of their special offer, they kindly discounted the rooms. It is a small, but adequate hotel if your plans are to be out and about in Paris and only in your hotel room for sleeping. Again, the location is excellent.
