The location of this hotel is its real strength - one minute from Notre Dame on foot. Room was very small, even by Paris standards, but bathroom more than adequate. Continental breakfast well worth the 13 euros and a pleasant start to the day. At price we were given in February, the hotel was very good value.

Great location & hotel. Only 2 negatives - we were put in a double the first night (not a twin as requested). We were moved to a twin on the second day. We also had contacted the hotel to obtain museum passes which they said they would get, but were unable to get. The hotel staff did not inform us about this until we got there. It would have been helpful to notify us earlier, so that we could have gotten them online before coming.

My husband and I have been to Paris several times. This was the first time staying on the Ile St Louis. The hotel was very charming, and the location and staff could not be beat. The room was small, but doable. Upon our return to Paris in the future we will definately return to this hotel.

Loaded with charm; perfect location, very quiet. Rooms are small--to be expected in old Paris--but space is optimized. Staff very friendly, welcoming, helpful in every way.

Good stay overall. The free wireless internet was not working in my room but the hotel could not figure out the problem and offered the chance to use the Internet at the neighbor hotel down the street. Very quiet rooms, I was able to sleep until 12 noon every day.

This hotel was an oasis after a very hectic day of travel. The room, while tiny, was clean and had character and the bathroom was actually quite large. Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The woman at the front desk went out of her way to arrange a shuttle for us back to the airport at the last minute. The location was great - a short walk from the Notre Dame, but still a quiet location. Great pastry shop across the street!

First I want to say that the pictures of the "room" on the web site is nothing like at all the hotel rooms offered. I seriously doubt they have such a room looking at the fire escape drawing, most rooms were even smaller than ours if it was to scale. This room was small even by euro standards and we both have been multiple times. I will say that the hotel was extremly clean for sure. The bathroom while small was exceptional with a great great shower unlike other places we have eperienced. This was a saving grace at the end of our trip. The AC worked supurbly and was silent. The staff was friendly and helpful once you pass the awkward stage of arrival and comments about all of your bags. The location if you are wanting to relax is great, close to things; there are resturants around the hotel and other shopping. That was great, especially the supermarket next door. Overall it was not bad but expect a closet of a room is all. They have a lot of things working well for them they should focus on the positives and not mis represent.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff and a first class location. The only slight negative to the stay was that we were given a room with a fairly small double bed squashed up against the wall! (I had booked a room with twin beds as I was staying with my mum). We did ask if another room may be available and were told that there would be one with 2 beds on the third night of our stay, but this was never mentioned again. The room was fine though, and we had a most enjoyable holiday.

We were in Paris for a long weekend and spent 2 nights at De Lutece. It was my 60th birthday and we had a wonderful stay. The staff was very helpful and encouraged me to use my French. Our room was on the 6th floor and had a beamed ceiling, full bed, desk, table and chairs and was very spacious for a French hotel room. The bathroom was updated with enough counter space for any women. It was extremely quiet and we slept until 10 am. The location is perfect for touring Paris and the L'Ile Saint Louis is just delightful. We had a most delicious dinner at Gerard Besson for my birthday and a dinner at a Steak Frites on St. Germaine.

Ideal situation with all the attractions of both right and left banks only a short walk away. Isle St Louis is charming with great cafes and restaurants as well as local shops and facilites. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate, if what you really want is a comfortable place to sleep. The staff could not ahve been more helpful.
