We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and cosy and we had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our window. Great Location, as the eiffel tower is about 5 mins walk. Beatiful restaurant across the road from the hotel.

We went to Paris to run the "Paris - Versailles" and the Hotel was nice enough to allow us to maintain our room 2 hours over the standard check-out time :-))) Briefly: Nice location but you can't see the Tour from this Hotel :-| Very small rooms:-( Very nice crew :-)

With all the complaints I read about small rooms, etc. at the various hotels, I was very satisfied with this hotel. 3 adults in one room with a functional bath and a lift to the first floor if required. The location of the hotel was excellent. We were all very satisfied and would definitely stay again.

Our group really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the reception staff were very helpful and courteous at all times even escorting our party to a really nice restaurant nearby..Only problems were maintenance issues with bathroom door that did not close in room 11 and curtain pole in room 33 which kept falling off window not very safe..would defintely return to this hotel

This hotel has a great location, with walking access to many sites, especially the Effiel Tower, metro stops etc. It's on a relatively quiet side street with bakeries, grocery store and laundry nearby.

The room was very small. On photos they look much bigger, but if you want just sleep not spend all day in the room, it´s very good, because Eiffel tower is just 3 - 5 minutes by walk. We spend 6 days in that hotel. But one thing I need to write - the toilet is very narrow and if you want to use the toilet you will be scuff your marrowbone. We lived on 4th floor, room 41. There is no room service in the hotel, no fridge or bar so if you want dring or snack you have to buy it outside. On the reception they were very helpful...

Yes the bathroom is snug. The beds clean and comfortable, the lift worked, the staff were excellent. Given the location of this hotel in regard to the Eiffel Tower and public transport we thought it was excellent value for money. Some room on the fifth floor offered views of the top of the Eiffel Tower.

The employees were very friendly, but our room (#402) and especially the bathroom was so small, that I cannot believe that it was a room for two persons! The Eiffel tower is only 2 minutes away and therefor the location is excellent! Near by the hotel you can find many restaurants, butchers, bread shops and a small super-market.

SUPER location!! 5 minute walk from the Eiffel tower. In some rooms on 5th floor you can even see the top of the Eiffel Tower. Working elevator. The hotel employees were super nice and helpful with directions. Room was small, but cleaned eveyday. Bathroom, clean and descent size. Can't beat the location for this price!! Quiet street, I would recommend it...

The Hotel is well placed in a quiet street. The Rooms we occupied were small clean and adequate. The staff are helpful and there is a fantastic little restaurant right across the street. The Value for money is relatively good for a Hotel in this location in Paris.

Poor excuse for a hotel. Room is the size of a walk-in closet and the bathroom was so small that you had to turn sideways to sit on the toilet. Not to mention, you could not close the door while you were in the bathroom. An overweight person would not be able to use the toilet at all.

Overall, great place. Very centraully located. Easy to find. Lots to eat and do nearby. Only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) was that the room was reletively small and there was no airconditioning. Everything was very clean and neat. Also, it was very nice to have an elevator.

This hotel was in a great location and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt bad coming back late at night though as we had to knock and wake up the night clerk to let us in the hotel. One huge downfall was that our room was very damp (no matter how much keeping the windows open) and all of our clothes were damp for the remainder of our trip. Shower is also a bit touchy. Overall, good room for price paid.

Great hotel, very quaint with Parisian style. Excellent location close to Eiffel tower, train and supermarket. Staff helpful and friendly. Only down side is that rooms are tiny - but then that's Paris, so this is more a comment on what to expect in this city rather than a criticism of the hotel itself.

When we checked in the desk attendant was unhelpful but the next morning we had very friendly staff to hold onto our luggage while we went sight seeing. The rooms were smallish and bathroom was very small and had broken tiles and seat. IF you only have to stay there one night this hotel serves its purpose and is a 2 minute walk from the Eiffle Tower. And its a very quiet area. But expect what you pay for .

The hotel is ok, if you stay for one night. The lack of plugs - there was not any - can be catastrophal if you are on a business trip and want to reload your computer, mobile-phone and so on. The hairdryer did work but it was just only a very quite breeze. If you have long hair and when it is not warm outside not very pleasant. It can be even quite charming to have breakfast in a nearby bakery (very characteristic for Paris) instead of the hotel.

This was our first time in Paris. We paid 150 Euro per night for 2 people. Our room was extremely small. It was the smallest hotel room we stayed in while touring Europe. Our bathroom was extremely small too, you couldn't fit 2 people in there if you tried. We didn't receive fresh clean bath towels for our second night. The shower water never really became hot, we both took luke warm showers each day. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke decent English. We were within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.

We spent a romantic weakend in Paris and it has been very ejoyable. The hotel has helped us to it. The hotel is very near Pont de l´alma RER Station and Ecole Militaire Metro station. The Eiffel Tower 4 minutes walking from the hotel. There is a very nice, small, not expensive and charming French restaurant just in front which was recomended by the hotel staff. The hotel in general and the rooms are very small, but clean. No luxury but nice enough and good price for being Paris. Very well located. The staff very friendly offers themselves for making some restaurant or expectacle reservation. Breakfeast is offered by 8€ but we did not try it.

Cosy, clean hotel and quiet-but-helpful staff. Our triple room was perfectly sized for the three of us - 1 British & 2 Singaporeans, our luggage was 1 cabin luggage and backpack each, the room would've been small for big suitcase travellers. The hotel's on a quiet street, very easy to find from venere.com's map, and has a warm & welcoming family-run restaurant opposite - a great meal there. Very close to the Eiffel Tower (beat the queues!) and an easy walk from École Militaire metro stop. The room had a fixed hairdrying hose by the bathroom mirror, which wasnt mentioned on the facilities (and denied when I telephoned asking whether the rooms had hairdryers!). A few reviewers were suprised by an unexpected 5.5% charge but this is clearly mentioned in the booking T&Cs on your booking email, and explained on posters inside hotel rooms' doors.

My wife and I spent 5 days in Paris on vacation. This Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice. The room prices are VERY reasonable for Paris and the location of the hotel very good. It is located on a quiet street next to the Romanian embassy. The area felt very safe. It is a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel tower and the RER and a 15 min walk to Invalides. The concierge desk was open 24 hours and was staffed by English speaking staff. There was a safe in the roon which came in handy. The rooms were very tight but clean and full of charm (including flower pots outside the windows). The bathrooms were the smallest we encountered during our trip. Breakfast is available but it sounded pricey so we opted to shop at a supermarket nearby. There is also a Starbucks about 5 minutes away and several brasseries and other restaurants nearby.

The staff were also very helpful with giving directions and spoke good english which was very helpful.

Excellent location - Eiffel Tower virtually around the corner (5 minutes walk). Room small but that was expected by warnings of fellow travelers. Some funny scenes using the toilet as it was something like 10 cm from the wall so sitting on that was kind of joga excercise. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, so can't comment on that, but overall good experience.

The location is good. It is a very narrow hotel so everything is small. The5th floor is the only floor with a view of Eiffel. One of our party was locked in the bath when the door failed to open. Hotel staff consist of desk clerk and maid. He came up to help open the door with a cork screw. Eventually we took off the hardware. WIFI is available in small lobby. Front desk was plesant and maintained professionalism during busy summer months. There are many other places you could stay with greater charm and value.

The staff was helpful. There was a bit of a lack of toilet paper in the rooms and we all had to ask for more. Other than that, it was fine. I didn't mind having to go down the street to get breakfast because that bakery was excellent. Really, excellent. Worth the walk. It was close to the Eiffel Tower, but don't expect a view or anything, it's not that close. It's also a few blocks from the metro station, but not bad. However, if you don't want to walk anywhere, this wouldn't be the best choice. The bathrooms are small, you have to back in to the toilet. But, in terms of a clean affordable hotel, with an elevator, it's fine.

The overall experience at this hotel was good, however the lack of air conditioning was a little tough to deal with. You need to keep the windows open at night in order to stay cool, but if this does not bother you it's ok. Mosquitos will come in as well as conversations of others. I tried to go to the small garden area of the hotel and was vehemently told NO by the guy in front. I guess it's just there for looks.

Although the room and en suite were small, the close proximity to the sights were brilliant. A 5-10 minute walk to the metro stop and 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower was great! The surrounding streets felt very safe for being out at night, and the cafes and shops were all very friendly.

The location is terrific (easy walking distance to the eiffel tower). We had a Double Room and the room was definitely European small. They did make good use of the space, however, with closets and cubicles in some of the spaces. The bathroom was extremely tiny, but had a shower - so it was OK. Very close to the Eiffel Tower - about 3 blocks, so it was very convenient. The staff at Hotel De la Tour Eiffel were excellent. The rooms VERY small, the mirror in the bedroom was way above the bed, impossible to use. The only outlet didn't reach to use the bathroom mirror (no outlet in the bathroom), I curled my hair w/ a compact mirror. My big complaint was we ordered a taxi to the airport, had a shuttle (we were the only ones in it), but it cost 60 euros, not the 45 euros we paid from the airport to the hotel.

The location can't be beat, the neighborhood is adorable, and the the overall worth of this hotel is great! Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, we had a very cute courtyard outside our room, and the rooms weren't huge; but exceptionally functional. The bathrooms were clean, new, and we had one in-suite which is rare for 2-stars at this price. The construction was a bit noisy, but they are improving their facilities. I would stay here again and again.

front desk not helpful at all... when I first arrived I asked to use a bathroom... was told the hotel was under construction and there was not one to use... then I left my bags with the front desk... I told the man that I would not be back until late... when I returned the front desk had no idea where the bag was... said nothing was left... after searching I decided to just go to my room to decide what I would do... the bag was there! next night tried to reserve a taxi, the front desk told me ok... when it was the time I requested I went to the front desk and I was told that he did not call yet... it wasn't his job to get a taxi for me... took about 40 mins to get a taxi... was 30 mins late for a dinner reservation... bathrooms were dirty... towels were in horrible shape... holes & stains... I ended up going and buying my own towel! horrible experience... I would never stay there again...

We booked 2 rooms in Paris and requested that they be next to each other with a view of the Eiffel Tower if possible. We got EXACTLY what we asked for! It was great. Helpful, knowledgeable employees. This was our 2nd trip to Paris with our kids and we were able to do alot more from this motel since it was so CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Even though you are close to everything, I would suggest getting a 5.50EU daily Metro/Bus pass. It was even good from the train station to our motel! Only thing missing would be a "free continental breakfast", but there are many places to eat nearby. I would highly recommend this motel and I am booking again in January.

The en-suite WC would be OK for a toddler, but adult legs don't fit into the minuscule space available!

The De la Tour Eiffel is in a great location and the new management is very friendly and helpful. They are in the process of some remodeling which shows pride of ownership. Many places to choose from for dining and so many sites within walking distance. I didn't have a view of the Eiffel tower but it was fun to be so close. FYI: watch Taxi costs, if the hotel calls the taxi the rate starts from their origination point. If not planning to spend a lot of time in your room and just wanting to see Paris it's a great choice for the price!

Excellent Budget hotel that is a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Excellent little side street hotel that gives the true Parisian feel.

Location of hotel is excellent as it is price/performance. Rooms are small but refurbished. Street is quiet, small problem are strong street lights.Better rooms are on courtyard. Only thing to avoid is breakfast - much better environment is in nearby café/brasserie. Highly recommended.

On the whole we are quite satisfied with the hotel. It was not too expensive for Paris'standards! Rooms were ok - we had a comfortable bed and shower, that's all you need in the end! We didn't take breakfast in the hotel. Just one thing: was surprised we were charged the "taxe de sejour". Just 10 euros extra per couple, but it took us by surprise, it was not mentioned in the venere website. I would recommend this hotel to people. From 5th floor were we were staying we could see the tour eiffel! Very romantic ;-))

se debe revisar el acceso por metro, ya que tiene dos estaciones del metro cercanas y se menciona la que queda mas retirada.

Excellent location. Right on the downtown walking mall, walking distance to the Notre Dame and the Basilica of St. Remi. We had a window facing the walking mall, and they light up that face of the hotel at night, so there were basically floodlights pointing at our window. It was almost comical how much light was coming in around the blinds, but we still managed to get to sleep.
