We booked only for one night with two children . Considering the little space of the room and inspecially the small bath with shower inside , maybe "1" meter square we can't suggest this hotel in relationship with the 220 Euro payed .

The room was best for max triple (we asked for quadruple). The annoying sound of the elevator door should be eliminated. Wi-fi internet only on ground/reception floor.

Great hotel right near the Eiffel tower down a side street. We had a room at the back with air conditioning and a double and a single bed and had no problem with noise at all.Our friends did not have any aircon so had to have their window open. There was some noise from the street side.Staff were all helpful and friendly would definately stay again.

A safe, clean, well-placed little hotel. No frills but just fine for sleeping and close to everything. Man at desk was quite helpful.

This was a great hotel in a fantastic location. The room was small, but VERY clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comofortable. The staff was great and very accomodating, and you can't beat the location! It's about a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, or a 5 minute walk to the Metro. I will definately stay there again next time!

Per quello che ci si può aspettare in centro a Parigi va bene. La posizione è comoda, camere piccole ma pulite, ascensore piccolo, accoglienza buona.

Beautiful hotel, newly renovated. BUT, aircondition didn't work 2 of 4 nights. WiFi didn't work the whole stay, and the door was broken the 2 last nights - so the receptionist had to lock us in everytime we wanted to enter the room. A little arrogant feedback when we complained, but at check-out we got one night for free.

I was amazed at the accuracy of the description, in regards to the location of the hotel it is literally round the corner from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel bathrooms are small but they are clean and so are the rooms. The staff couldnt be any more helpful from advising us where to eat reasnobley to keeping our cases to let us go sightseeing! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and i will certainly use it again.

Directions to the hotel told me to go to a Metro stop that was further away than the correct and closest stop. But otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

I wasn't impressed with this hotel - I was very disappointed compared to the reviews I'd read. My room (no 5) was tiny. Miniscule. However I wasn't too bothered about that as I was travelling alone and not planning to spend that much time there. Both the bedroom and the tiny bathroom were very clean, and the shower was actually very good. The downside was the noise. This was simply the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in. From my room on the first floor landing I could hear every guest walking up and down the stairs, but, worse, also I could hear all the blokes in the lobby downstairs talking loudly to the front desk man ALL night. I slept very badly. The staff were fine, if not very warm. They let me store my bag there until late in the day I was leaving as my flight didn't take off till late. I didn't go for breakfast as it was an additional cost 0 instead I walked 5 mins to rue Cler and the Cafe du Marche who do a fabulous breakfast for 5 euros. I know it's relatively cheap, but I still felt quite let down. The only plus is the neighbourhood which I just love - like a little village within Paris, and just 5 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower. Heaven. Next time, I'll be staying elsewhere in the area. The Relais Bosquet looked idyllic.

Two girfriends and I spent our last night in Paris before leaving for the USA at the Hotel De la Paix. It was a perfect spot for our last night. We walked to Rue Cler for dinner and shopping and then walked from there to the Eiffel Tower. The staff was extremely helpful at arranging our shuttle pick up and recommended a great neighborhood restaurant, Cafe du Marche. Although the room we had was small for a triple, it was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was very luxurious and updated. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

We requested a room on the ground floor or a floor that could be accessed by elevator as my wife has a heart condition and can't climb stairs. We were put on a floor where the elevator did not stop (#3) and had to walk down fromj #4. The room was exceptionally small, even for Paris(my knees hit the wall when I sat on the toilet!). The first morning the maids took our soap when they cleaned. The second morning the took all the toilet paper. The third day the keys stopped working. The safe never worked and when I asked about it the man at reception said...."oh, then it is broken". The day we left the elevator was not working at all. The staff was friendly but didn't seemed concerned with any of our problems. I was especially disappointed they did not accomodate our need for a room where my wife didn't have to use stairs.

Avoid room no 1 as it is tiny, you hear every word spoken in the reception + every step if someone uses the stairs. TV does not work and could not be replaced, nor the price reduced to match facilities. Toilet and sink + shower in opposite corners of the room. The breakfast room in the basement is cosy but breakfast not worth 10 euros. Room possibly worth 60 euros, and only for the location and newly renovated bathroom and toilet. Most of the staff was nice.

During the stay there was a fire alarm which waked up all the tourists of the hotel at 6 am and made them to evacuate to the street. Apparently there was not an explanation for what happened to the alram circuit system.

We stayed in a room for three adults on the fourth floor. It was perfect for us with a small view of the top of the Eiffel! ( a total treat) The hotel is a close walk to the Eiffel and there are a few places to eat just a few steps away. My mom who is in her 60's and my sister and I stayed at the Hotel and it fit all three of us great. My mom would take the lift to the fourth floor and my sister and I would climb the stairs. When we arrived they took our luggage to our room sending it up on the lift. The owner and desk helper were so friendly and spoke english. They helped make our stay a positive one. The area around the hotel is quite at night when you want to sleep and is very safe. I would go back to this hotel time and time again.

The room was really small and the bathroom even smaller. There was an odd smell in the room. All in all I was disappointed in the hotel and even more so in that they charged me for an extra night when I had to make a change in plans for personal reasons.

Excelent location, 10 minutes walking to the Eiffel Tower and 5 minutes from the subway in a quiet street. Good offering of restaurants, bistrots and cafes in the surroundings. The rooms are VERY small, as usual in Paris, a bit noisy from the adjacent rooms. The staff is very kind and competent.

The hotel is in an excellent location, plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was very small, we had booked a quadruple but got a triple with an extra bed put in, which made it really crowded...but since we didn't spend much time in the room it didn't matter that much. Staff was very friendly and it was very clean. We would definetely go back. We had a most enjoyable time.

We were only passing through Paris for one night and couldn't have picked a better location minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. The hotel was excellent value for money and deserved another star. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was up 3 flights of stairs and would have been a problem for less able people and this was not mentioned in any hotel information but this is the only negative that I can think of. I would definitely book here again and hope to do so in the near future. I would also recommend it to family and friends.

It was a nice hotel with a good location. That was my main concern. It that way, everything was fine. The only thing I could say is that the room was very small and very noisy. I know most of the hotel in Paris are like that but it was my third time in Paris and it was the smallest room I got this time. Overall I had good time and it is only to sleep but could be a bit more comfortable.

I had a single room. The room is quite small. Shower and toilet are in seperate rooms. The door is rather thin and can be very noise at night time when people walk by or chatting outside. The head of the bed near the door does not help. Will consider this hotel again if I do not have a better choice.

Excelent centric hotel, right between the Eiffel tower and Les Invalides. Amazing how they manage to build a hotel in such a small space, but hey, they did it very good. Furniture is new. We were reserved a quad room. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us that there isn't a room in the hotel for us. They send us to a room in a building beside. We had to ask for towells. There wasn't hairdryer. There was only one key for that room and the receptionist asked us to make him a copy !!! It wasn't easy to find the hotel. A positive tip: the room was totally refurnished and very quiet.

Fantastic location near Eiffel tower, with local produce shops around corner, & also close to Metro. Fantastic staff especially Monica and Magee, always helpful and obliging with info and directions. We were party of 7 (3 adults, 4 children) staying in 2x 4 bedroom rooms - tight fit but what was expected- being out all day all we did at night was sleep anyway! Breakfast was plentiful (cereal, juices, milk, eggs, toast, coffee/tea, cakes). Will surely stay there again. Thankyou.

Hotel de la Paix is an absolutely nice hotel in a quiet elegant quarter, very close to the tour Eiffel. Our room was at the fourth floor with a great romantic views of the top of the Tour Eiffel. The room was clean and functional. The Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, near the metro (Ecole militaire) and the train RER. The only things we didn't like were that Breakfast is not included in price and that the hotel shuttle for the airport arrived at 11.00 a.m. while our fly was at 3.30 p.m. (It's better to call a normal Paris Taxi so you can choose the time to start!!!)

I travelled with two teenagers (14)and we spent 7 nights there. First of all, the Hotel rooms are clean and renewed. Four blocks walk from the nearest Metro station. Quiet area. They cover the beds with a plastic something, under the sheet, what is terrible feeling to sleep on it!It was the first, to take it off! Our first room was 22.on the fourth floor, with the little wiew of the Eiffel Tower's top. It's a romantic room for one or two persons, but not for three!! Just a tiny little shower room without the possibility of storing there anything, like toothbrushes, body-milk etc. or drying up yourself because you hit yourself in something for sure. There is a mirror and a bigger in the room. But no lights around. Impossible to put on a make-up.Just a half cupboard, fit for books, not for clothes. Our second room was bigger, with the wiew of the clean backyard with a bit bigger shower but a bit stinky too(channel)and our night time was noisy (aircondition-engine in the yard). Same problems: no storage places for our clothes and toothbrushes, no lights. So we lived on the carpet from our suitcases. But we could walk between them. They couldn't give us soap (you know that little Hotel kind) for 5 days! The noise of the elevator and doors are normal.Internet only for money at Reception, and didn't work during that week! The breakfast room was nice and clean, but in the basement and very stinky, so we had breakfast at the neighbouring Brasseries. The stuff is helpfull! The reasons why I will not going back to this Hotel are,1. I had no comfort feeling. 2. Expensive for it's uncomfortability.

The hotel was fine enough, the room was small for the 4 of us but it had a decent bathroom. It also had airconditioning which we were relieved about more for noise elimination than anything else. However, the night reception man ended up setting off the fire alarm when he burned his toast at 2am not once but twice! He turned off the ac in the process of tryin to turn off the alarm so we were hot and awake at 3am. overall the place was fine for our needs. It was very close to the Eiffel tower and to the metro. the staff was generally nice. I think it would be better without young children however. If the fire alarm had not ruined our night I would probably give it a better rating. I didn't recognize it at all from the picture on the website.

What a great place. The location was fabulous - 3 minutes walk from the Champ du Mars, with a cafe on the corner & a great patisserie down the street. The desk clerks Maggi & Paulo were outstanding - above & beyond. The room was surprisingly large for Paris & the bathroom included a great shower. The only negatives were the noise level (thin walls) & the elevator - 1 person & 1 suitcase - that's it. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Hotel de la Paix was perfect for us and our 2 girls, the room we all shared was small due to the 2 double beds, but we could share which was great. My room was small but functional, and the location of the hotel is great. Main complaints: Lots of noise from outside the room (people going up the stairs/lift), and no Wi-Fi, which this site says the hotel offers ("in the entire building") and was one reason I chose this place. There's just one computer in the lobby that you must pay to use.

Hotel de la Paix is an absoloute gem! Set in the heart of Paris and literally only a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel tower, the website does not do it justice. The price is fabulous considering the location, and do not let the 2 stars put you off- not many 2 star hotels have plasma LCD tv's with satellite, air conditioning and a huge marble bath. We didnt have the breakfast- the general store at the end of the road and the various cafes and restaurants around offer a wide range of inexpensive and hearty french cuisine. The only criticism is the level of noise in the morning, which was copeable but noticable, and the size of the room, which with 4 people and suitcases left very little walking space. However, all in all this hotel was fab, with friendly staff and great rooms. Will definatley stay here again, and the location is the best in Paris. Highly recomended!!!
