Hotel De la Félicité - Paris

Inacceptable. Comme souvent dans les hôtels réservés via venere, à notre arrivée on nous annonce que nous avons été recasés dans un autre hôtel (alors que nous avions réservé très tôt, et laissé un n° de téléphone). Théâtre le soir, donc impossible de refuser, l'hôtel de rechange indigne, la chambre avec bain est devenue une chambre avec une espèce de douche miniature, même pas un mot d'excuse, même pas le petit déj offert, et on est priés de re-déplacer nos bagages nous-mêmes. Pas de shampooing, connexion internet ne marche pas, rien ne va... L'hôtel Félicité avait l'air bien, mais on n'y a pas dormi, et on n'est pas prêts d'y retourner...

The accomodation was good in relation to price and is for the budget concious traveler. We will definately return if we come back to Paris

this hotel was clean comfortable and welcoming everything you could expect from a budget priced hotel. The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of most attractions whilst being far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy peaceful surroundings

Hotel is obviously half renovated so room only half decorated. Very noisy outside all night, shouting and singing. Do not ask hotel to book you a taxi, you will be ripped off. 40 euros to Montmartre instead of 15 for a normal taxi. Also charged me 10 euros to cancel another pre-booked taxi, even though one and a half hours before taxi was due to collect us from the hotel.

We perceived it as a clean, quiet and well run back-street hotel. No fancy stuff, but a nice and quiet place to spend the night.

We selected this hotel because of the moderate price. The staff is very friendly and the rooms clean. The hotel is quite calm because located in a small one-way street. The breakfast is recommendable (baguette, croissant, confiture, cheese, coffee/tea). Next Metro is 7-10 min walking distance. I can recommend this hotel and will stay there again next time I will be in Paris.

the most disappointed thing was, there was no shower curtain in the shower area.once shower tap is on the whole toilet floor will be wet.Location is not so good too its 15min walk from nearest metro(wagram).TV has no remote control and no cable.

Dos situaciones se presentaron con el hotel que considero importante las conozcan: 1. Al hacer la reserva habia solicitado habitacion doble con camas sencillas para mi hijo y yo. Sin embargo al llegar al hotel encontre que nos habian asignado una habitacion con cama doble. Al requerir atencion a la solicitud de la reserva nos manifestaron que ese dia no habia disponibilidad, que al dia siguiente y nunca se dio el cambio. Para resolver la situacion colocaron una cama adicional en la habitacion, lo cual redujo el espacio y fue incomodo. 2. Mi hijo llego un dia antes al hotel y a pesar de estar los datos de mi tarjeta amparando la reserva, le hicieron pagar tan pronto llego al hotel los 9 dias. Al dia siguiente cuando llegue, le informamos al empleado del hotel que yo iba a hacer el pago y que ademas pensabamos viajar dos dias a Nice y no ibamos a ocupar la habitacion, que si habia algun problema, que debiamos hacer. La persona que es jefe de los otros empleados escucho la situacion y dijo que estaba muy ocupado y la otra persona tomo la informacion y dijo que no habia problema. El dia antes de viajar a Nice volvimos a preguntar, yo reitere el deseo de hacer el pago correspondiente a los 6 dias que habiamos estado en el hotel, pues considere que el pago que habian obligado a mi hijo a hacer era una garantia solamente. Dijeron que no habia problema, nosotros entregamos la habitacion el jueves 15 a las 9 AM y nos hicieron el "favor" de permitirnos dejar las maletas en la recepcion hasta el sabado 17 que regresamos. La sorpresa fue al regresar el sabado y preguntar por el pago de la cuenta. El jefe dijo que estaba muy ocupado (como siempre, una persona muy desatenta) y que mas tarde hablabamos. Cuando bajamos mas tarde a la recepcion el señor no estaba y el empleado nos informo que el pago estaba hecho ya con la tarjeta de mi hijo y por los 9 dias. Cuando requerimos explicacion por el hecho de no habernos informado de la situacion todas las veces que lo solicitamos

The hotel quality was suprinsingly under our expectations for 2 stars hotel in one of the major turistic attraction in the world.The staff was not good English speckers but nice,friendly and willing to help.The elevator was so old and narrow that our child's push chair and luggage was a problem.The surrounding was dramatically poor.It was extra noisy because of we must open the window due to unavailability of air conditioning.The telvision programs was so poor,small old TV,bad picture quality and only french chanells!!!We would never recommend this hotel to families.I recommend it for individuals without children and who is wishing to save some money to enjoy this beutiful city.The price we get on net was (55 euros) was cheaper than what the visitors have to pay when they reserve by phone or when they come without previous reservation(70 euros)
