Hotel De Fleurie - Paris

I had asked for 2, double bed, rooms. I assumed each room would have 2 double beds. As lovely as the rooms are there was only 1 double bed. The rooms were spotless. The AC worked beautifully. Location was dream: 3 minutes from odeon station! My one complaint is the cost of breakfast. 13Euros??? That is way over the top! We only had breakfast there our first morning and found other cafes thereafter. I definitely would return to the hotel. In room fridge a bonus. Hairdryer was powerful! The 4 of us had a lovely stay!!

Comfortable quiet hotel and a good value for the 6th -- easy access to a vibrant evening street scene.

Steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, boulevard St Germain and my favorite cafe "Le Danton" at metro Odeon... one of the very rare cafes not to use that yucky UHT boxed milk! A much needed and tasty brew every morning :)

During the week the hotel was nice and quiet. Excellent little hotel very close to everything. The staff was very nice and quite helpful. The room safe was handy. The hotel is about a ten minute walk to the Seine. There is a foot bridge just west of Pont Neuf. Great place to watch the sunset with someone you love; wine optional.

Hotel well situated and service good but breakfast of very pooor quality.

Location is excellent. Standard of the hotel is very good compared to price. Staff is nice and helpful, however service in the breakfast room should be improved.

If the hotel wouldn't be that small it could have 4 stars room is very small and nice, big enough for 1 person travelled by airplaine

A charming hotel with an excellent location. Small but inviting lounge/lobby with internet and TV is a bonus especially after checkout.

My husband and I spent 3 days at this hotel in December 2008 and were pleased with the staff treatment. Our room was a bit small, but according to the French standards. The location is fabulous and we recommend this hotel.

I didn't like this hotel as much as I expected to. Compared to other small hotels in the area, it was a little disappointing. Although the location is superb, my room was even smaller than the European average and in poor condition. The television had a large crack in the housing and should be replaced. The lamp electric cords were frayed and are a serious fire hazard. The bed took up 90% of the room leaving very litte space for anything else. The bathroom was nice. When I checked in, I was sent to the elevator to go to my room. After waiting a long time for it to arrive, one of the staff opened the door and screamed at me "You have to wait". Such a warm welcome. The internet computer for guests' use in the lobby is priced by the minute and very expensive. When I needed to use it, the night clerk was irritated because he was too busy entertaining company in the lobby and didn't want me around. This could be a very nice hotel, but they are letting things slide.

Some rooms are more spacious than others. None are too large but certainly adequate and attractive. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Only problem is the street noise since it is necessary to have the window open for ventilation.

A delightful room in a perfect location. We were worried that the absence of non-smoking rooms would mean a smokey smell that would trigger my husband's allergies, but the room was spotless and very fresh. It was small, but quite comfortable. I think the size and price were not bad for this highly competitive location. It was ideally situated, very close to the fashionable Blvd. St Germaine, but on a relatively quiet side-street. The staff were welcoming and spoke excellent English. Breakfast is not included, but is excellent, and reasonably priced for Paris. Although the streets are noisy, the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet, and we had a delightful sense of privacy during our stay.

A very enjoyable stay in a well-run hotel. Will definitely return.
