Hôtel Charlemagne - La Défense, Paris

Excellent value for money. Staff extremely helpful and kind. Ideal location, close to both the business area and the Champs Elysées, plenty of restaurants and shops right outside the hotel. Metro, buses and cabs at one-minute walk

I found The Charlemagne to be a real surprise! A very nice hotel at a great price! The room was well appointed and very quiet. The only drawback I found was the size of the shower, but small showers in Paris are fairly common. The area around the hotel is very nice and very convenient to the Metro. I will never stay in central Paris again after experiencing La Defense. It is so much quieter and peaceful, yet you are only 10 minutes be Metro to Chatelet and the heart of Paris. There are quite a few nice restaurants and bars just outside the hotel. Zinc on the corner is outstanding and just down the boulevard, next to the English Pub is an outstanding Indian Restaurant. For the money, an excellent choice with a friendly and very competent staff. Personally, this hotel will be my first choice on my next trip to Paris!

Comodo da raggiungere per chi vola Ryanair (pullman + 2 fermate metro); fermata metro (linea principale) a pochi passi; quartiere defence raggiungibile a piedi; centro a 8-10 min di metro. L'albergo è pulito, sobrio nell'arredamento ed addirittura con un certo charme. Camere non grandi ma ben proporzionate e strutturate. Vista su viuzze interne molto tranquille. L'edificio - all'esterno - è molto bello. Adiacenti si trovano, ristoranti (in caso di emergenza non sono neanche male), vineria, pasticceria (150 m.), edicola... ANDATE VERAMENTE TRANQUILLI

The room was very very small. The bathroom was also very tiny. It was hard to get around in the room with two people. We had a corner room though, maybe the others are bigger...

The hotel was fine but your service was terrible: you gave me a booking at a hotel that had been fully booked for two weeks already. I can recommend the hotel but certainly not Venere

Well, the situation is perfect, beautiful and quite rooms, relationship between price and quality is excellent, they made just a little mistake, one day they forgot to clean our room, so, no clean towels, no shampoo... but, well, i guess nobody's perfect. for the rest, i recomend this hotel, if i come back to paris someday, this is my hotel, sure!

The manager give it to me bad treatment, the room was not ready at 14:00 i couldnt make the check in until 15:00

Ottimo per chi arriva a Parigi con ryanair. Eccellente anche la posizione perchè la metro è *veramente* ad un passo (mt 50), siete sulla linea 1 che vi porta direttamente all'arcodi trionfo o al louvre. Silenziosissimo. Camere molto piccole.

O.k. Hotel, value for money as in you get what you pay for. No real complaints, a bar of some kind would have been handy but I guess would be expensive to run. The mini bar in the room only contained soft drinks or beer but the beer was a waste of time because their was no bottle opener despite my request for one.on a list of budget hotels this would be near the top.

I will go there again if I happen to be in Paris again.

Nice hotel and small, but clean rooms in quiet surroundings. It is definitely recommendable to have breakfast outside the hotel e.g. cafe just in front or on Montmatre ;-) Therefore it is good to have easy access to public transportation. thank you, excellent offer!

Very nice hotel, very close to the metro station, the surroundings are charming and quiet, a good place to stay overall.
