Perfect location, It is nearby to "everything", easy to transport yourself to anywhere in Paris. The hotel is clean and proper, rececption staf is good. NO BUGS!! clean towels every day. The triple room was very tiny and did not have enough of closetspace for 3 people. The breakfast is alright BUT if you choose to have breakfast at 7.30 - 8.00 you can not expect everything to be ready. Boiled eggs did not appear until after 8 o´clock.

Well situated right in the middle of the latin quarter. next door to a movie theater and access to metro restaurants shopping, but on a quiet little street. rooms VERY small but clean and quiet. shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. no amenities provided, ie shampoo, soap, lotions. there was a squeeze bottle of shampoo/shower gel hanging up in the shower.staff was helpful and pleasant. there was an elevator, big help if you have heavy bags. the room fit a double bed a small table and chair and a tiny night table and that is it. i liked the adjustable reading lamp affixed over the bed so i could read at night. the bed was a bit saggy so i did have a back ache in the morning. re breakfast, for me there were plenty of the basics: fresh bread, croissants, fruit cereals, coffee, some cold cuts (which i don't eat) and a variety of jams and cheeses. i had a special winter deal which included breakfast at 95 euros a night. that is about the right price for this hotel in the middle of paris. i would stay there again.

Great hotel in a very lively location. Convenient access to metro stations. Walking distance to great dining options in St. Germain and Latin Quarter, and plenty of shops. It's hard to find nice hotels reasonably priced in Paris, and this one was perfect.

We booked the hotel last minute at a discount price. For this price, the hotel provided asolutely value for money. Our room was not huge, but certainly not small either (espacially given the space problem in Paris). Everything was very clean, the room was very quiet yet located closely to the metro station. The staff were very friendly and competent. I defenitely will return when visiting Paris again.

I was satisfied enough. This is what I expected of European hotel rooms which are usually quite small. I was very pleased that they were able to change the room for my nephews when we realized that one double bed for two six foot tall boys was not adequate. They were given a room with two twin beds after we requested the change.

the hotel is located in a small alley in the latin quarter, 5 min walk to the saint-michel metro station. the room is small but clean. the only problem was the smell of the oil paint in the room and the corridors -it seems that the doors and the walls have been painted lately and the smell was really heavy.

This was probably our favorite of the three hotels we have stayed at in the Latin Quarter. It is on a suprisingly quiet street but only a few blocks from the RER stop from Charles de Gaulle Airport and the Metro. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area and its an easy walk to Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Cluny, Louvre and d'Orsay. Both our room and the bathroom were clean, modern and relatively large and the breakfast was very good.

Had previously stayed at this hotel some years ago shortly after it had been refurbished and was satisfied with that stay. NOT SO THIS TIME! It has become shabby and rundown. Walls are scuffed and in some places have holes in them , carpets stained and shabby. Our double bed had 2 single bed blankets which were clearly very old and pilling. The bathroom was never properly cleaned whilst we were there (e.g. the bin was never emptied). One Sunday morning breakfast was out of cheese , muesli , juice and fruit. On complaining , we were told that "the shops are closed on Sunday"! We were travelling with friends who stayed at the Central on our recommendation. Their double room , booked months in advance was clearly designed for a single (even only 1 towel in their bathroom) and after much protestation by our friends and denial by management they were the next day transferred to a bigger room. Difficult to understand how this hotel is able to maintain a 3 star rating (unless the rating is based on the ability to penny pinch!). We will never stay there again and neither will our friends.

A localização é o que de excelente há nesse hotel. De qq maneira, considerei cara a estadia devido saber que hotéis próximos estavam custando mais barato em cerca de 20 euros em média. The best of the best in this hotel is about the adress. The location is very good. The price could be less expensive in razon of the size of the room.

Excellent location - quiet yet close to all left bank and Latin Quarter sights. Triple room booked for my 3 grown sons was comfortable with 3 separate single beds. Double room was spacious and quiet. Modern and clean baths. Desk staff was very helpful and willing to assist with forwarding (by mail) a forgotten item. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for good value, great location.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Paris. Right between St. Germaine and the Latin Quarter. This is where you want to be. The hotel is on the pricey side but they all are. Nice little room with Parisian charm (like a window with a little flower box). The breakfast was too expensive for us but we were happy to just get some groceries and eat in our room.

The hotel is very well situated near by Sorbonne and Jardin de Luxembourg and is really quiet. The rooms are rather small and the breakfast is very expensive (11 Euro pp). The only possibility to get something to drink is an automat in the lobby (no beer, nothing else).

This is a clean, well kept hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful to us. We don't speak French and we were treated well. Their breakfast at 11 Euros was the most expensive we encountered. However, it was also the best with traditional French fair, fresh fruit, ham and cooked eggs. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Lumps in breakfast milk may have been the cause of my wife's illness during the day....however aside from that, a lovely place to stay, right by the Sorbonne, the Cluny Museum, Boulevard st Germain, great restaurants (recommend the Bastide Odeon!) Notre Dame, etc.

Central it is!Back alley can be smelly, but the dive-bar across the street is cool. Single rooms were quite large, renovated and pleasantly decorated. Bathroom fixtures need replacing, the staff know this and are working on it. The Staff were friendly, the public areas are sparse, but internet access for reasonable prices is appreciated. 10 euro breakfast too much, cafes at St Michel are cheaper. Overall an excellent place to stay if you are going to be in the leftbank area.
