Hotel Carlton's - Paris

This is the first time I visit Paris for 2 days travelling. Carlton hotel is located nearly from subway station and the Paris nord station, it is great for new comer. The price is little high. I like this hotel and Paris, but I hate metro system because of dirty and crowded transportation. If I come back Paris I will choose this hotel as a friendly hotel.

I recommend Hotel Carlton! It is an elegant 3 star hotel. The hotel is close to two subway station. Unfortunately both subway stations don't have escalators.

The newly renovated room was ok, A/C ok, nice roof terrace. Wi-fi didn't work, except from in the shabby lobby. Breakfast was a (discount) joke. Probably the first time in Paris I couldn't get a croissant - or drink the coffee.

Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and Room comfortable. View from rooftop lovely. A bit far from many of the major attractions. Watch the step in the luggage room, I fell and twisted my ankle on the first day spent time in hospital and had to change travel plans which was disappointing as we had travelled all the way from Australia. Another guest also fell in the same place while we were there but was not injured.

Room was small, price was big, the area is not very good and definantelly not central Paris. Facilities were very very poor. In 2008 they dont have internet for use. Warm water didnt work at 6 am in the bathroom tube and had to shower myself from the sink. A sample was delivered to the reception for me and the receptionist didnt even tell me. I had to phone abroad to find out where the sample is. This costed me more than 5.000 euros and they are lucky i dont sue them. All above can be considered as "French hospitality".

I stayed at Carltons in Paris for 3 nights in July 2008. It is a good hotel for the price, but the restaurant was not actually open, though it did seem to serve a bus group of some sort.

This is my second stay at carltons and it has been great both times and I will stay there again, the facilities and the staff are very pleasant

This is a great hotel in an area that is close to Moulin Rouge so some seedy areas but I felt safe and the hotel was close to everything we wanted! Walking distance to Moulin Rouge and Montmatre and close access to subway.

We had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent and the room quiet and best of all was the terrasse on the roof with an overwhelming view on Paris. Will certainly come back!

Overall experience was as expected from a 3 star hotel. The internet access was not working in the rooms. For this reason alone I would not come back.

Un bon hotel, ben situat i a un preu raonable. Indicat per a grups d'amics. Habitacions prou espaioses i netes.

Walking distance from Montmartre, from "funiculaire" to Sacre Coeur, 500m from a multiplex cinema. 200m away from metro Pigalle. I found breakfast a bit basic, but price was correct.

Clean, modern bathroom. This room was only a little noisy because it was near the elevator, but otherwise quiet on the 6th floor. The room was adequate and clean. This area of Paris is pretty crummy, due to the red light industry. Also lots of construction at this time, making it dirty.
