The location was great - the hotel was situated right near cafes, patisseries / boulangeries, fruit shops, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets etc. And it was lovely to see locals do their shopping each day. But our room was small and the shower was so tiny, I could hardly fit in it (and I'm not a large person!). Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

Stayed there 4 nights. Rooms are small, but clean, bathroom very clean and new, always clean towels. Good location, 5 min walk from Tour d'Eiffel, with typical Paris charm and stores (fromagerie, poissonnerie (fish market), pastisserie, boucherie (butcher), wine shop, local bar, etc. Not cheap for the size of room, but what is cheap in Paris???

We are a young couple and we staied there 4 nights. We enjoied it a lot! the hotel's room was smaller then we thought looking the pictures, but anyway it was nice. The thing I am more happy about was the surrounding: around the hotel there were many small shops: bakery, cheese, fish, fruits and supermarkets! and also nice bar and pub. I think that going in those kind of districts is the best way to live and understand a city.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Carladez Cambronne and had a fantastic stay! The hotel was emaculate and each member of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay there again. The location is excellent as we walked to all of the facinating places of interest.

The hotel was very nice, especially for the price. Very clean rooms, very nice people at the front desk, most of whom spoke English well. The little square where the hotel is located is fantastic - there is a tiny park, 2 cafes, bakeries, grocery, cheese shop, and butcher all right there. Good restaurants nearby also. It was a great place to see where and how French people live, as opposed to where tourists congregate. It was also close to Metro stops and in a great location. We had a very enjoyable experience at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic French atmosphere. Hope to stay there again sometime!

We booked a suite for 3 person and what we got was a room with a double bed and an additional bed. So the room was far from spacious (if this concept exists in Paris). The square in front of the hotel is noisy so we had to close the window (well insulated) but then the room temperature got very high. The rooms on the backside are probably quieter and cooler.

I needed a hotel to stay for my visit to an exhibition at Porte de Versailles. My experience, as compared with my previous stay in another hotel close by, was excellent. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, speaking fluent English. The room was welcoming and lovely and warm on this freezing cold night. It was surprisingly spacious with 2 single beds and plenty of room to store luggage. The bathroom was also a good size. Even though the room was facing the street it was quiet and the concrete floors meant there was little noise from other guests. The location to the Metro was just a few minutes walk and the hotel was surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The continental breakfast was also good in comparison, as you could help yourself to bread, pastries, yoghurt, drinks, etc., unlike the standard 1 croissant and 1 drink! I would definately stay here again on my next visit.

We stayed for one night in July, and given room 001, at the back of the hotel with no view other than courtyard. Room was on the ground floor so noisy and hot. Other than that was very tidy. We had to wait a little while for the room(longer than the check in times) as it was still being cleaned) Was situated in a nice area. but i felt it was a little overpriced.

We had a "quadruple" room, which was for a family of four. It was a nice quiet room, with TV's, and decent ensuite. The Hotel was in a nice area, with plenty of Cafe's shops and bars in the immediate area. We booked to be close to the Eiffel Tower, however it was a little further than expected, but easily walkable in about 20 mins. The Metro was close to the Hotel (3 mins away). Altogther a nice Hotel, for the price and area - and would recommend it to anyone.

We have been to Paris and were a bit worried that it was a 2 star hotel. In the past we have benn shocked by the quality of the hotels. At Clarladez Cambronne, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean and for Paris, the rooms were fairly spacious! The walk to the Eiffel Tower is fairly short as suggested in the ad, there are tons of little stores just around the hotel (Poisonnerie, Marché, Boulagerie etc), the Cafe around the corner offered a comfortable, friendly location for breakfast. Montparnasse is closeby and it is alive with bustle. All in all, very nice for a basic, no frills hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Carladez Cambronne for 5 nights. We are from the USA and this was our first trip to Paris. The hotel was nice for the price. The rooms were always clean and cleaned daily. The rooms are smaller than what we are use to in the USA and so is the shower. But we made due. The TV in our room did not work and no one from the hotel ever looked into it but we were so busy doing things in the city it did not matter. The matress on our bed could have been upgraded or something to be a little softer and more pillows provided. Also, the daily breakfast was a little expensive to include only crousants, coffee, and OJ. We went to local food stores and got our breakfast much cheaper. The free wireless internet access was a very nice feature. We were around a lot of shops and resturants so we had plenty of stuff to buy and eat. The Effiel Tower was only a 15 minute walk away. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and the staff was very helpful answering our questions in english. For the price the hotel is worth it.

CC is a GREAT Paris Hotel. Very convenient location, close to metro, clean, and safe. My only concern was the size (space) of the shower area. If I can save a lot of $$/Euro, I am okay with a small shower space/area. I will DEFINITELY stay at the Carladez Cambronne Hotel again on my future visits to Paris. Mark F. Cortlandt Manor, NY

We arrived at the hotel at6pm only to be informed that they had overbooked the hotel, and we must walk to another hotel where they had made arrangements for us. So we had to stay in the other hotel for one night (a more expensive hotel which we had to pay) and move again the next day at our inconvenience. We had to remind the reception timeously to correct our invoice. The room smelled of smoke!!!! The breakfast is very expensive compared to the rest of paris. The bathroom was tiny!! But otherwise it was nice.

With respect to emergency exit, I did not feel safe in that hotel, only one staircase to escape, so in case of fire and smoke coming from downstair the only exit is going upstair or being blocked in the room, no emergency staircase outside at the level of the room window.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. They spoke English which was a great bonus! Hotel was only one block from metro line which would get you anywhere in the city. Only one line transfer to get to the Louvre or Eiffel Tower. Hotel was in a quiet neighborhood with several supermarkets and cafes within walking distance. Only gripe was the shower was TINY. If I moved at all (which was impossible in itself) the water kept shutting off because my body would knock into it. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE SHOWER! You need to be 100lbs and average height to have no issues with it. Also the room was quit noisy. We were on the first floor next to the stairs and elevator. Got noisy in the morning. Nothing that would prevent me from booking here again. Great value for Paris, clean and safe, easily accessible by Metro. I would stay here again for sure, overall experience was delightful. The money saved overrides any discomfort I had with the shower. We paid around 140 Euro for 2 nights.

We were very happy with this hotel. We stayed for two nights and found it to be not fancy but very pleasant and clean. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned each day and were very spacious (for Paris). We had the family suite which provided a bedroom, bathroom (with bath) and sitting room. The couch and fold out bed in the sitting room were perfectly adequate for our children (aged 9 and 7). The family suite is at the back of the hotel reached by its own private staircase - so it's quiet and private. The only drawback is that you have to lug your suitcases up the stairs as the lift doesn't service this part of the hotel. The main attraction of this hotel is the wonderfully authentic Parisien family neighbourhood and easy access to the Metro (about a 5 minute walk at the most). Outside your doorstep is a busy little square with all the typical French necessities - 2 cafes, 2 fruit and vege shops, a boulangerier/ patisserie, butcher, fish shop, delicatessen, wine shop, restaurants, and around the corner in various directions, 2 supermarkets and an incredibly efficient laundromat. This array of shops provides a fascinating parade of locals shopping for dinner and also can provide you with great picnic food and drink. The reception staff speak English and are quite happy to do so when your french fails you. We walked to the Eiffel Tower without much difficulty but the children were tired on the walk back after climbing the tower, so check out where the nearest Metro is for the return to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

This small hotel was perfect for our stay. Its situated in an area full of interesting little shops and v.close to 2 metro lines to get you quickly into central paris if you don't feel like walking in. the staff were very friendly and had good recommendations for shopping and eating . the accomodation was really clean and quiet, soundproofing worked well so we didn't have to put up with the usual sounds of traffic, or plumbing and tv from neighbouring rooms. a welcome service not mentioned on their website was hire of electric kettle for use in rooms . a lovely place.

I loved the view onto the street, the room was ready when I arrived and I felt very safe in the area. Though I wasn't sure what metro stop was the closet: Convention or Volentiers. Volentiers is actually ten minutes away compared to thirteen minutes from Convention. The reminder about the waste of washing an entire set of towels was appropiate. A coffee machine and tea would have been a nice touch in the room, but I did enjoy the stay, and the possiblity to pay on the way out than upon arrival at other places I've stayed that. Thank you
