Hotel is well situated, because the nearest metro line (nb 14) is very fast. Comparing other hotels in Paris, it's quite good, but at night it's not a very good neighborhood. The relation price-quality is very good, but the breakfast really expensive comparing the price of the room. Anyway,I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Nice hotel for price, though the doorman came into our room one night while we were sleeping, they don't knock the doors... Otherwise bathroom little but clean, it is not a bathroom for big people...

We had a great stay at the Cantagrel. The room was very clean, quiet, tastefully decorated, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel has also has a nice lift. The only downside to the hotel was that it is just out of the main core of Paris so you have to take the Metro in as opposed to walking. I would definitely stay here again.

Je recommande cet hôtel même s'il est un peu loin de "l'action" de Paris. Par contre, le métro est tout près. Donc il n'y a pas de soucis. Pour les environs de l'hôtel, c'est plutôt ordinaire. Vaut mieux ne pas trop s'attarder dans le quartier. L'internet WIFI fonctionne mais a de fréquentes ratées. Les points d'accès WIFI seraient à vérifier. En gros, je suis satisfait de ce que j'ai eu par rapport à ce que j'ai payé.

Buen Hotel por buen precio (73 euros/noche). Lo recomiendo para una visita a París, 2 estaciones de metro a menos de 5 min.

Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'une promotion week-end à 190 euros pour 3 nuits, donc un rapport qualité prix excellent. L'accueil a été chaleureux et les employés très serviables. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Seul bémol, le petit déj un peu cher: 10 euros.

Alert, friendly, and helpful front desk staff, except on checkout early in the morning. Staff change solved the checkout problem (didn't know how to run credit card thru system). Room was remarkably quiet from street noise with windows closed. Hotel was some distance from metro station, and then that line was a feeder to other metro lines.

A good hotel for a low-budget stay. Easily reachable with metro, though a short walk from the station which might feel long with big luggage. Welcoming staff. Stylishly renovated room, but not perfectly clean, and a bit unfinished. For an older person it must be difficult to climb out of the shower-bath tub. Although non-smoking room, there was smoke smell coming from somewhere else. They promised a free wifi but we didn't get it to work, though we didn't ask for help for that either. They surprisingly added a 1-2€ tax per day to the price we had reserved the room for. We didn't try the expensive breakfast because there were pastry shops in every corner and a Starbucks near the metro station.

Considering we chose to stay here as it was one of the cheapest places in Paris, it turned out very well. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but has been refitted and was quiet, comfortable and very good value for money. The bedroom was comfortable, quiet, not a bad size (for Paris) with a very nice ensuite bathroom including jacuzzi bath - an unexpected bonus. The neighbourhood is not very tourist-y but didn't feel unsafe at all. It seemed that normal parisians call this area home. It's a long walk into town, but two metro stops are a few minutes walk away. I'd definitely stay here again.

nice hotel for a short holiday, metro and RER 5 min away, plenty of small restaurants around. Despite some funny looking people, hotel is on quite big street so no problem for late nights. Room clean, staff disponible (got room changed because bath tub hadn't been washed properly, clearly just a mistake), bubblebath in most rooms! Paid 190 euros for a 3nights week-end stay...quite unbeatable. Will definitely stay again

We stayed in double room with my boyfriend. Actually, after long walks in Paris..we were too tired to complaint..but there was nothing to complaint. Staff was nice, room was clean, only 2 stops by RER to Notre Damme. Additionally, by booking through internet, we gained great discount, so we were more than satisfied :)

Kind of clientele: turist who like a nice place to rest. No particular advice for other travellers. In addition: very easy to get to the hotel from CDG, very easy go to the center of Paris.

I was very pleased with my brief stay at Hotel Cantagrel. The rooms were small but clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends. I felt safe with the security measures that were taken.
